If you have read the Bible enough times, you will come to realize that this true, but not all of the people in the Bible are men and women of God. \u8056\u66f8\u3092\u3088\u304f\u8aad\u3081\u3070\u3001\u5168\u3066\u306e\u4eba\u9593\u304c\u795e\u306e\u7537\u3068\u5973\u3067\u306f\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u304c\u3001\u305d\u308c\u304c\u771f\u5b9f\u306a\u3082\u306e\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306b\u6c17\u304c\u3064\u304d\u307e\u3059\u3001<\/p>\n
There are all kinds of people in the Bible, just as there are all kinds of people in the world that we live in. \u8056\u66f8\u306b\u306f\u8272\u3005\u306a\u4eba\u9593\u304c\u767b\u5834\u3057\u307e\u3059\u304c\u3001\u305d\u308c\u306f\u79c1\u9054\u304c\u751f\u304d\u3066\u3044\u308b\u4e16\u754c\u306b\u3082\u8272\u3005\u306a\u4eba\u9593\u304c\u3044\u308b\u306e\u3068\u540c\u3058\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
The majority of the people that are named in the Bible are people that we would consider people of faith, that is men and women of God. \u8056\u66f8\u306b\u767b\u5834\u3059\u308b\u4eba\u3005\u306e\u5927\u534a\u306f\u3001\u4fe1\u4ef0\u306e\u4eba\u3005\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u3064\u307e\u308a\u795e\u306e\u7537\u3068\u5973\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
They are people that we would like to learn from on how to live with and for God.\u3000 \u5f7c\u3089\u306f\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u3068\u5171\u306b\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306b\u751f\u304d\u308b\u65b9\u6cd5\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u304c\u898b\u7fd2\u3044\u305f\u3044\u4eba\u9054\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
However, there are also people in the Bible that we should consider examples for us not to follow.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u8056\u66f8\u306e\u4e2d\u306b\u306f\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u304c\u6a21\u7bc4\u3068\u3059\u3079\u304d\u3067\u306f\u306a\u3044\u4eba\u9054\u3082\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
They are people that we should learn from on how we are not to live.\u3000 \u5f7c\u3089\u306f\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u304c\u3069\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u751f\u304d\u3066\u306f\u3044\u3051\u306a\u3044\u304b\u3068\u3044\u3046\u3053\u3068\u3092\u3001\u5b66\u3076\u3079\u304d\u4eba\u3005\u306a\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
Today, we will look at such a person, and his name is Balaam.\u3000 \u4eca\u65e5\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u306f\u305d\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306a\u4eba\u7269\u3092\u898b\u3066\u307f\u305f\u3044\u3068\u601d\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
Balaam comes out in the Bible at a point where the Israelites have been wandering in the wilderness for nearly forty years, and are inching their way towards the Promised Land (Canaan).\u3000 \u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u304c\u8056\u66f8\u306b\u767b\u5834\u3059\u308b\u306e\u306f\u3001\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u6c11\u304c\uff14\uff10\u5e74\u8fd1\u304f\u8352\u91ce\u3092\u3055\u307e\u3088\u3044\u3001\u7d04\u675f\u306e\u5730\uff08\u30ab\u30ca\u30f3\uff09\u306b\u5411\u304b\u3063\u3066\u3001\u3058\u308a\u3058\u308a\u3068\u6b69\u307f\u3092\u9032\u3081\u3066\u3044\u308b\u6642\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n
News of the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt, and God\u2019s protection and providing for them throughout their time in the wilderness, has spread far and wide.\u3000 \u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u6c11\u304c\u30a8\u30b8\u30d7\u30c8\u304b\u3089\u8131\u51fa\u3057\u3001\u8352\u91ce\u3067\u904e\u3054\u3057\u305f\u9593\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u304c\u5f7c\u3089\u3092\u5b88\u308a\u990a\u3063\u305f\u3068\u3044\u3046\u77e5\u3089\u305b\u306f\u3001\u5e83\u304f\u77e5\u308c\u6e21\u3063\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n
Also, the inhabitants who lived in Canaan, heard of the Israelites\u2019 recent conquering of the Amorites and Bashan (Numbers 21:21-35).\u3000 \u307e\u305f\u3001\u30ab\u30ca\u30f3\u306b\u4f4f\u3093\u3067\u3044\u305f\u4f4f\u6c11\u306f\u3001\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u4eba\u304c\u6700\u8fd1\u30a2\u30e2\u30ea\u4eba\u3068\u30d0\u30b7\u30e3\u30f3\u3092\u5f81\u670d\u3057\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3092\u805e\u304d\u307e\u3057\u305f\uff08\u6c11\u6570\u8a1821:21-35\uff09\u3002<\/p>\n
Thus, we read in Numbers 22 about how Balak the king of Moab was afraid of the Israelites who were camping in the plains within his territory.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u305f\u3081\u3001\u6c11\u6570\u8a18\uff12\uff12\u7ae0\u306b\u306f\u3001\u30e2\u30a2\u30d6\u306e\u738b\u30d0\u30e9\u30af\u304c\u3001\u5f7c\u306e\u9818\u571f\u5185\u306e\u5e73\u539f\u3067\u5bbf\u55b6\u3057\u3066\u3044\u305f\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u4eba\u3092\u6050\u308c\u305f\u3053\u3068\u304c\u66f8\u304b\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
There, we read of how Balak decided to seek help from Balaam, who was a diviner (soothsayer), in order to put a curse on the Israelites.\u3000 \u305d\u3053\u3067\u30d0\u30e9\u30af\u306f\u3001\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u4eba\u306b\u546a\u3044\u3092\u304b\u3051\u308b\u305f\u3081\u306b\u3001\u5360\u3044\u5e2b\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306b\u52a9\u3051\u3092\u6c42\u3081\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306b\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n
Such soothsayers were common among pagan worshipers at that time.\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306a\u5360\u3044\u5e2b\u306f\u3001\u5f53\u6642\u306e\u7570\u6559\u5d07\u62dd\u8005\u306e\u9593\u3067\u306f\u4e00\u822c\u7684\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n
These soothsayers predicted the future by magical, intuitive, or more rational means.\u3000 \u3053\u3046\u3057\u305f\u5360\u3044\u5e2b\u9054\u306f\u3001\u9b54\u8853\u7684\u3001\u76f4\u611f\u7684\u3001\u3042\u308b\u3044\u306f\u3088\u308a\u5408\u7406\u7684\u306a\u624b\u6bb5\u3067\u672a\u6765\u3092\u4e88\u8a00\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n
Of course, whatever means they used was not of or from God, and of course were no match against God\u2019s power and will.\u3000 \u3082\u3061\u308d\u3093\u3001\u3069\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306a\u624b\u6bb5\u3092\u7528\u3044\u305f\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3082\u3001\u305d\u308c\u306f\u795e\u306e\u3082\u306e\u3067\u3082\u795e\u304b\u3089\u306e\u3082\u306e\u3067\u3082\u306a\u304f\u3001\u3082\u3061\u308d\u3093\u795e\u306e\u529b\u3068\u610f\u5fd7\u306b\u306f\u6575\u3044\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n
Balaam who was hired by Balak to curse the Israelites found this out very quickly and painfully.\u3000 \u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u6c11\u3092\u546a\u3046\u305f\u3081\u306b\u30d0\u30e9\u30af\u306b\u96c7\u308f\u308c\u305f\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306f\u3001\u3053\u306e\u3053\u3068\u3092\u3059\u3050\u306b\u75db\u611f\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n
It is important to note here that Balaam\u2019s primary motive for helping anyone was money.\u3000 \u3053\u3053\u3067\u91cd\u8981\u306a\u306e\u306f\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u304c\u8ab0\u304b\u3092\u52a9\u3051\u308b\u7b2c\u4e00\u306e\u52d5\u6a5f\u306f\u304a\u91d1\u3060\u3063\u305f\u3068\u3044\u3046\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
In fact, it would be safe to say that Balaam would have done anything for the sake of being compensated handsomely.\u3000 \u5b9f\u969b\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306f\u591a\u984d\u306e\u5831\u916c\u3092\u5f97\u308b\u305f\u3081\u306a\u3089\u4f55\u3067\u3082\u3057\u305f\u3068\u8a00\u3063\u3066\u3044\u3044\u3068\u601d\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
So, he definitely wanted to do what Balak had asked him to do.\u3000 \u3060\u304b\u3089\u3001\u5f7c\u306f\u78ba\u304b\u306b\u30d0\u30e9\u30af\u306b\u983c\u307e\u308c\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3092\u3057\u305f\u304b\u3063\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
However, Balaam did not have a choice in the matter.\u00a0 That is, he had no choice but to submit himself to God.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306b\u9078\u629e\u306e\u4f59\u5730\u306f\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002 \u3064\u307e\u308a\u3001\u5f7c\u306f\u795e\u306b\u670d\u5f93\u3059\u308b\u3057\u304b\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
We see this throughout his interactions with Balak.\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30af\u3068\u306e\u3084\u308a\u3068\u308a\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u5206\u304b\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
However, before Balaam goes to Balak, he learned a painful lesson on what it means to do as God says.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306f\u30d0\u30e9\u30af\u306e\u3082\u3068\u3078\u884c\u304f\u524d\u306b\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u306e\u8a00\u3046\u3068\u304a\u308a\u306b\u3059\u308b\u3068\u306f\u3069\u3046\u3044\u3046\u3053\u3068\u306a\u306e\u304b\u3001\u624b\u75db\u3044\u6559\u8a13\u3092\u5f97\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n
The following is recorded in the Bible for us.\u3000 \u8056\u66f8\u306b\u306f\u6b21\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u8a18\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002<\/p>\n
Numbers 22:20-35\u300020\u00a0<\/sup>God came to Balaam at night and said to him, \u201cIf the men have come to call you, rise up\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0go with them; but\u00a0only the word which I speak to you shall you do.\u201d 21\u00a0<\/sup>So Balaam arose in the morning, and saddled his donkey and went with the leaders of Moab. 22\u00a0<\/sup>But God was angry because he was going,\u00a0and the angel of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0took his stand in the way as an adversary against him. Now he was riding on his donkey and his two servants were with him.\u00a023\u00a0<\/sup>When the donkey saw the angel of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0standing in the way with his drawn sword in his hand, the donkey turned off from the way and went into the field; but Balaam struck the donkey to turn her back into the way.\u00a024\u00a0<\/sup>Then the angel of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0stood in a narrow path of the vineyards,\u00a0with<\/em>\u00a0a wall on this side and a wall on that side.\u00a025\u00a0<\/sup>When the donkey saw the angel of the\u00a0Lord, she pressed herself to the wall and pressed Balaam\u2019s foot against the wall, so he struck her again.\u00a026\u00a0<\/sup>The angel of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0went further, and stood in a narrow place where there was no way to turn to the right hand or the left.\u00a027\u00a0<\/sup>When the donkey saw the angel of the\u00a0Lord, she lay down under Balaam; so\u00a0Balaam was angry and struck the donkey with his stick.\u00a028\u00a0<\/sup>And\u00a0the\u00a0Lord\u00a0opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, \u201cWhat have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?\u201d\u00a029\u00a0<\/sup>Then Balaam said to the donkey, \u201cBecause you have made a mockery of me! If there had been a sword in my hand,\u00a0I would have killed you by now.\u201d\u00a030\u00a0<\/sup>The donkey said to Balaam, \u201cAm I not your donkey on which you have ridden all your life to this day? Have I ever been accustomed to do so to you?\u201d And he said, \u201cNo.\u201d 31\u00a0<\/sup>Then the\u00a0Lord\u00a0opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw\u00a0the angel of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0standing in the way with his drawn sword in his hand; and he bowed\u00a0all the way to the ground.\u00a032\u00a0<\/sup>The angel of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0said to him, \u201cWhy have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out as an adversary, because your way was\u00a0contrary to me.\u00a033\u00a0<\/sup>But the donkey saw me and turned aside from me these three times. If she had not turned aside from me, I would surely have killed you just now, and let her live.\u201d\u00a034\u00a0<\/sup>Balaam said to the angel of the\u00a0Lord, \u201cI have sinned, for I did not know that you were standing in the way against me. Now then, if it is displeasing to you, I will turn back.\u201d\u00a035\u00a0<\/sup>But the angel of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0said to Balaam, \u201cGo with the men, but\u00a0you shall speak only the word which I\u00a0tell you.\u201d So Balaam went along with the leaders of teaching Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit acts of immorality. \u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306f\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30af\u306b\u6559\u3048\u8fbc\u307f\u3001\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u5b50\u3089\u306e\u524d\u306b\u3001\u3064\u307e\u305a\u304d\u306b\u306a\u308b\u3082\u306e\u3092\u7f6e\u304b\u305b\u3066\u3001\u5076\u50cf\u306b\u3055\u3055\u3052\u305f\u3082\u306e\u3092\u98df\u3079\u3055\u305b\u3001\u307e\u305f\u4e0d\u54c1\u884c\u3092\u3055\u305b\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002<\/p>\n
Balaam combined the sins of immorality and idolatry to please Balak, the king of Moab, because he could not curse Israel directly.\u3000 \u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306f\u3001\u30e2\u30a2\u30d6\u306e\u738b\u30d0\u30e9\u30af\u3092\u559c\u3070\u305b\u308b\u305f\u3081\u306b\u3001\u4e0d\u9053\u5fb3\u3068\u5076\u50cf\u793c\u62dd\u306e\u7f6a\u3092\u7d44\u307f\u5408\u308f\u305b\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n
Thus, Balaam taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the Israelites.\u3000 \u3053\u3046\u3057\u3066\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306f\u30d0\u30e9\u30af\u306b\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u6c11\u306e\u524d\u306b\u3064\u307e\u305a\u304d\u306e\u77f3\u3092\u7f6e\u304f\u3088\u3046\u306b\u6559\u3048\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
This stumbling block was connected with idolatry (to eat things sacrificed to idols) and sexual immorality (Numbers 25:1-9).\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u3064\u307e\u305a\u304d\u306f\u3001\u5076\u50cf\u793c\u62dd\uff08\u5076\u50cf\u306e\u3044\u3051\u306b\u3048\u306b\u6367\u3052\u3089\u308c\u305f\u3082\u306e\u3092\u98df\u3079\u308b\u3053\u3068\uff09\u3068\u6027\u7684\u4e0d\u9053\u5fb3\u306b\u95a2\u4fc2\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\uff08\u6c11\u6570\u8a1825:1-9\uff09\u3002<\/p>\n
Such were the struggles that the believers in the church of Pergamum faced as well.\u3000 \u3000\u30da\u30eb\u30ac\u30e2\u6559\u4f1a\u306e\u4fe1\u8005\u305f\u3061\u3082\u3001\u305d\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306a\u845b\u85e4\u306b\u76f4\u9762\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n
Such are also the struggles that we may face in this dark idol-infested and sexually immoral society that we live in today.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306a\u845b\u85e4\u306f\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u304c\u4eca\u65e5\u751f\u304d\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3053\u306e\u6697\u3044\u5076\u50cf\u306b\u307e\u307f\u308c\u3001\u6027\u7684\u306b\u4e0d\u9053\u5fb3\u306a\u793e\u4f1a\u3067\u76f4\u9762\u3059\u308b\u304b\u3082\u3057\u308c\u306a\u3044\u845b\u85e4\u3067\u3082\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
We must choose our allegiance!\u00a0 Follow Jesus or follow the ways of this world, which include the teaching of Balaam.\u3000 \u79c1\u9054\u306f\u5fe0\u8aa0\u3092\u9078\u3070\u306a\u3051\u308c\u3070\u306a\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\uff01 \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u306b\u5f93\u3046\u304b\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306e\u6559\u3048\u3092\u542b\u3080\u3053\u306e\u4e16\u306e\u9053\u306b\u5f93\u3046\u306e\u304b\u3002<\/p>\n
So, you see, Balaam is not mentioned as a positive example for us to follow.\u3000 \u3064\u307e\u308a\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306f\u79c1\u9054\u304c\u898b\u7fd2\u3046\u3079\u304d\u7a4d\u6975\u7684\u306a\u6a21\u7bc4\u3068\u3057\u3066\u8a00\u53ca\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u306a\u3044\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
As I noted earlier, Balaam\u2019s primary motive for doing anything was money.\u3000 \u5148\u306b\u8ff0\u3079\u305f\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u304c\u4f55\u304b\u3092\u3059\u308b\u4e00\u756a\u306e\u52d5\u6a5f\u306f\u304a\u91d1\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n
He was greedy, and that motivated him to do things in a way that circumvented the fact that he could not curse the Israelites but could still help with what Balak wanted.\u3000 \u5f7c\u306f\u8caa\u6b32\u3067\u3001\u305d\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306b\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u6c11\u3092\u546a\u3046\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3067\u304d\u306a\u3044\u304c\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30af\u306e\u671b\u307f\u3092\u52a9\u3051\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3067\u304d\u308b\u3068\u3044\u3046\u4e8b\u5b9f\u3092\u56de\u907f\u3059\u308b\u65b9\u6cd5\u3092\u884c\u3046\u52d5\u6a5f\u3068\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n
What Balaam did was cause the Israelites to seek after other gods and to go away from following God\u2019s commandments.\u3000 \u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u304c\u3057\u305f\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3001\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u6c11\u304c\u4ed6\u306e\u795e\u3005\u3092\u6c42\u3081\u3001\u795e\u306e\u6212\u3081\u306b\u5f93\u3046\u3053\u3068\u304b\u3089\u96e2\u308c\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306b\u4ed5\u5411\u3051\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3060\u3063\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
Sadly, there are many people in the world today who teach what Balaam did.\u3000 \u60b2\u3057\u3044\u3053\u3068\u306b\u3001\u4eca\u65e5\u306e\u4e16\u754c\u306b\u306f\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u304c\u3057\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3092\u6559\u3048\u308b\u4eba\u3005\u304c\u5927\u52e2\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
The lesson and warning for us today is not to be like Balaam who loved money more than God.\u3000 \u4eca\u65e5\u306e\u79c1\u9054\u3078\u306e\u6559\u8a13\u3068\u8b66\u544a\u306f\u3001\u795e\u3088\u308a\u3082\u91d1\u92ad\u3092\u611b\u3057\u305f\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u306a\u3063\u3066\u306f\u306a\u3089\u306a\u3044\u3068\u3044\u3046\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
The additional lesson and warning for us is not to listen and follow the teachings of Balaam.\u3000 \u3055\u3089\u306b\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u3078\u306e\u6559\u8a13\u3068\u8b66\u544a\u306f\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306e\u6559\u3048\u306b\u8033\u3092\u50be\u3051\u3001\u305d\u308c\u306b\u5f93\u308f\u306a\u3044\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
And in order not to do so, we should heed Jesus\u2019 words which He spoke to the church in Pergamum:\u3000 \u305d\u3046\u3057\u306a\u3044\u305f\u3081\u306b\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u304c\u30da\u30eb\u30ac\u30e2\u306e\u6559\u4f1a\u306b\u8a9e\u3089\u308c\u305f\u8a00\u8449\u306b\u8033\u3092\u50be\u3051\u308b\u3079\u304d\u3067\u3042\u3059\uff1a<\/p>\n

We are blessed to have the opportunity to examine our ways and to repent and turn to God to receive His mercy and grace.\u3000 \u79c1\u9054\u306f\u3001\u81ea\u5206\u306e\u9053\u3092\u541f\u5473\u3057\u3001\u6094\u3044\u6539\u3081\u3066\u795e\u306b\u7acb\u3061\u8fd4\u308a\u3001\u795e\u306e\u6190\u308c\u307f\u3068\u6075\u307f\u3092\u53d7\u3051\u308b\u6a5f\u4f1a\u306b\u6075\u307e\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
Even as I say this, I am constantly reminded of the importance of continually seeking to live rightly before God at all times.\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u8a00\u3044\u306a\u304c\u3089\u3082\u3001\u79c1\u306f\u3001\u5e38\u306b\u795e\u306e\u524d\u306b\u6b63\u3057\u304f\u751f\u304d\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u6c42\u3081\u7d9a\u3051\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306e\u91cd\u8981\u6027\u3092\u5e38\u306b\u601d\u3044\u77e5\u3089\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002<\/p>\n
The following verses challenge me on a regular basis.\u3000 \u4ee5\u4e0b\u306e\u8056\u53e5\u306f\u3001\u5b9a\u671f\u7684\u306b\u79c1\u306b\u6311\u6226\u3092\u3082\u305f\u3089\u3057\u3066\u304f\u308c\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n

A right relationship with God only comes through faith in Jesus Christ, who has dealt with our sins \u795e\u69d8\u3068\u306e\u6b63\u3057\u3044\u95a2\u4fc2\u306f\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u306b\u4ee3\u308f\u3063\u3066\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u4e0a\u3067\u6b7b\u3093\u3067\u79c1\u9054\u306e\u7f6a\u3092\u89e3\u6c7a\u3057\u3001<\/p>\n
by dying on the cross on our behalf and rose victoriously from the grave.\u3000\u5893\u304b\u3089\u52dd\u5229\u306e\u3046\u3061\u306b\u3088\u307f\u304c\u3048\u3089\u308c\u305f\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u30fb\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u3092\u4fe1\u3058\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u306e\u307f\u5f97\u3089\u308c\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
Through Jesus Christ, we are made righteous, so that we can live righteously by the Holy Spirit that He has given to us.\u3000 \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u30fb\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u306f\u7fa9\u3068\u3055\u308c\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u30fb\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u304c\u4e0e\u3048\u3066\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3063\u305f\u8056\u970a\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u6b63\u3057\u304f\u751f\u304d\u308b\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
So you see, faith in God was missing in Balaam\u2019s life.\u00a0 He loved the wages of unrighteousness.\u3000 \u3064\u307e\u308a\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306e\u4eba\u751f\u306b\u306f\u795e\u3078\u306e\u4fe1\u4ef0\u304c\u6b20\u3051\u3066\u3044\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002 \u5f7c\u306f\u4e0d\u7fa9\u306e\u5831\u916c\u3092\u611b\u3057\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
As those who profess faith in Jesus Christ, we are not to go the way of Balaam.\u3000 \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u30fb\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u3078\u306e\u4fe1\u4ef0\u3092\u516c\u8a00\u3059\u308b\u8005\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u306f\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306e\u9053\u3092\u6b69\u3093\u3067\u306f\u306a\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n
We do not want to follow in his footsteps of unbelief.\u3000 \u79c1\u9054\u306f\u3001\u30d0\u30e9\u30e0\u306e\u4e0d\u4fe1\u4ef0\u306e\u8db3\u8de1\u3092\u305f\u3069\u308a\u305f\u304f\u306a\u3044\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n
