\u80cc\u306f\u9ad8\u3044\u304c\u5c0f\u3055\u3044\u4eba<br \/>\nSDJCC Sunday Worship Service<br \/>\nMarch 16, 2025<\/p>\n<p>It is truly a blessing to be able to come to worship the Lord together, to sing praises to our God and to listen carefully to and heed His Word.\u3000 \u5171\u306b\u4e3b\u3092\u793c\u62dd\u3057\u3001\u795e\u3078\u306e\u8cdb\u7f8e\u3092\u6b4c\u3044\u3001\u795e\u306e\u5fa1\u8a00\u8449\u306b\u8033\u3092\u50be\u3051\u3001\u8033\u3092\u50be\u3051\u308b\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u308b\u306e\u306f\u3001\u672c\u5f53\u306b\u3055\u3044\u308f\u3044\u306a\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Right after the worship service, do you get to have some time to think about the message that you just heard? \u7686\u3055\u3093\u306f\u793c\u62dd\u306e\u76f4\u5f8c\u3001\u4eca\u805e\u3044\u305f\u30e1\u30c3\u30bb\u30fc\u30b8\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u8003\u3048\u308b\u6642\u304c\u3042\u308b\u3067\u3057\u3087\u3046\u304b\uff1f<\/p>\n<p>Well, last Sunday, I truly did.\u3000\u5148\u9031\u306e\u65e5\u66dc\u65e5\u3001\u79c1\u306f\u672c\u5f53\u306b\u305d\u3046\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>It is not often that I leave right away without talking to anyone after the worship service.\u3000 \u793c\u62dd\u306e\u5f8c\u3001\u8ab0\u3068\u3082\u8a71\u3055\u305a\u306b\u3059\u3050\u306b\u5e30\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3042\u307e\u308a\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n<p>However, last Sunday, I did just that as I rushed out of the church facility to get to my car and drive up to Lomita.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u5148\u9031\u306e\u65e5\u66dc\u65e5\u3001\u79c1\u306f\u6559\u4f1a\u3092\u6025\u3044\u3067\u51fa\u3066\u8eca\u306b\u4e57\u308a\u8fbc\u307f\u3001\u30ed\u30df\u30fc\u30bf\u307e\u3067\u8eca\u3092\u8d70\u3089\u305b\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>It was a little before 12 pm, and I was hoping to make it in time for the 2pm Ordination Ceremony of Pastor Daniel Inoue and Pastor Yuya Seki.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u6642\u306f\u6b63\u5348\u5c11\u3057\u524d\u3067\u3001\u30c0\u30cb\u30a8\u30eb\u30fb\u4e95\u4e0a\u7267\u5e2b\u3068\u95a2\u52c7\u4e5f\u7267\u5e2b\u306e\u5348\u5f8c\uff12\u6642\u304b\u3089\u306e\u6309\u624b\u793c\u5f0f\u306b\u9593\u306b\u5408\u308f\u305b\u305f\u3044\u3068\u601d\u3063\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>As I drove up to their church, I could not help but give thanks to God for the lines that separate the lanes on the freeway.\u3000 \u5f7c\u3089\u306e\u6559\u4f1a\u307e\u3067\u8eca\u3092\u8d70\u3089\u305b\u306a\u304c\u3089\u3001\u9ad8\u901f\u9053\u8def\u306e\u8eca\u7dda\u3092\u533a\u5207\u308b\u7dda\u304c\u3042\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u795e\u306b\u611f\u8b1d\u305b\u305a\u306b\u306f\u3044\u3089\u308c\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>As Pastor Okura mentioned last Sunday, I too cannot imagine driving the 2 hours up to my destination without those lines guiding the thousands of cars that headed in the same direction.\u3000 \u5148\u9031\u306e\u65e5\u66dc\u65e5\u306b\u5927\u5009\u7267\u5e2b\u304c\u8a71\u3055\u308c\u305f\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3001\u79c1\u3082\u76ee\u7684\u5730\u307e\u3067\u306e\uff12\u6642\u9593\u3092\u3001\u540c\u3058\u65b9\u5411\u306b\u5411\u304b\u3046\u4f55\u5343\u53f0\u3082\u306e\u8eca\u3092\u5c0e\u304f\u8eca\u7dda\u306a\u3057\u3067\u904b\u8ee2\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306f\u60f3\u50cf\u3067\u304d\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, without guidelines in our lives, our lives will be a big jumble of mass confusion and full of accidents.\u3000 \u78ba\u304b\u306b\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u306e\u4eba\u751f\u306b\u6307\u91dd\u304c\u306a\u3051\u308c\u3070\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u306e\u4eba\u751f\u306f\u5927\u6df7\u4e71\u3068\u306a\u308a\u3001\u4e8b\u6545\u3060\u3089\u3051\u306b\u306a\u3063\u3066\u3057\u307e\u3046\u3067\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n<p>What Pastor Okura spoke to us last Sunday was somewhat reiterated through the words of exhortation that Pastor Shinji Seki gave to Pastor Daniel and Pastor Yuya.\u3000 \u5148\u9031\u306e\u65e5\u66dc\u65e5\u306b\u5927\u5009\u7267\u5e2b\u304c\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306b\u8a9e\u3063\u3066\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3063\u305f\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3001\u95a2\u771f\u4e8c\u7267\u5e2b\u304c\u30c0\u30cb\u30a8\u30eb\u7267\u5e2b\u3068\u52c7\u4e5f\u7267\u5e2b\u306b\u8a9e\u3063\u305f\u52b1\u307e\u3057\u306e\u8a00\u8449\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u3001\u3055\u3089\u306b\u7e70\u308a\u8fd4\u3055\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Pastor Shinji Seki, Pastor Yuya\u2019s father, spoke from 1 Peter 5:1-4 where it says:\u3000 \u52c7\u4e5f\u7267\u5e2b\u306e\u7236\u3067\u3042\u308b\u95a2\u771f\u4e8c\u7267\u5e2b\u306f\u3001\u7b2c\u4e00\u30da\u30c6\u30ed\uff15\u7ae0\uff11\u7bc0\u2015\uff14\u7bc0\u304b\u3089\u8a9e\u3089\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>1 Peter 5:1-4\uff08\u7b2c\u4e00\u30da\u30c6\u30ed\uff15\u7ae0\uff11\u7bc0\u2014\uff14\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n<p><strong><sup>1 <\/sup>Therefore, I exhort the elders among you, as\u00a0your\u00a0fellow elder and\u00a0witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a\u00a0partaker also of the glory that is to be revealed, <sup>2\u00a0<\/sup>shepherd\u00a0the flock of God among you, exercising oversight\u00a0not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to\u00a0the will of\u00a0God; and\u00a0not for sordid gain, but with eagerness;\u00a0<sup>3\u00a0<\/sup>nor yet as\u00a0lording it over\u00a0those allotted to your charge, but\u00a0proving to be\u00a0examples to the flock.\u00a0<sup>4\u00a0<\/sup>And when the Chief\u00a0Shepherd appears, you will receive the\u00a0unfading\u00a0crown of glory.\u00a0<sup>1<\/sup>\u305d\u3053\u3067\u3001\u3042\u306a\u305f\u304c\u305f\u306e\u3046\u3061\u306e\u9577\u8001\u305f\u3061\u306b\u52e7\u3081\u308b\u3002\u308f\u305f\u3057\u3082\u3001\u9577\u8001\u306e\u3072\u3068\u308a\u3067\u3001\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u306e\u82e6\u96e3\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u306e\u8a3c\u4eba\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u307e\u305f\u3001\u3084\u304c\u3066\u73fe\u308c\u3088\u3046\u3068\u3059\u308b\u6804\u5149\u306b\u3042\u305a\u304b\u308b\u8005\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002<sup>2<\/sup>\u3042\u306a\u305f\u304c\u305f\u306b\u3086\u3060\u306d\u3089\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u795e\u306e\u7f8a\u306e\u7fa4\u308c\u3092\u7267\u3057\u306a\u3055\u3044\u3002\u3057\u3044\u3089\u308c\u3066\u3059\u308b\u306e\u3067\u306f\u306a\u304f\u3001\u795e\u306b\u5f93\u3063\u3066\u81ea\u3089\u9032\u3093\u3067\u306a\u3057\u3001\u6065\u305a\u3079\u304d\u5229\u5f97\u306e\u305f\u3081\u3067\u306f\u306a\u304f\u3001\u672c\u5fc3\u304b\u3089\u3001\u305d\u308c\u3092\u3057\u306a\u3055\u3044\u3002<sup>3<\/sup>\u307e\u305f\u3001\u3086\u3060\u306d\u3089\u308c\u305f\u8005\u305f\u3061\u306e\u4e0a\u306b\u6a29\u529b\u3092\u3075\u308b\u3046\u3053\u3068\u3092\u3057\u306a\u3044\u3067\u3001\u3080\u3057\u308d\u3001\u7fa4\u308c\u306e\u6a21\u7bc4\u3068\u306a\u308b\u3079\u304d\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002<sup>4<\/sup>\u305d\u3046\u3059\u308c\u3070\u3001\u5927\u7267\u8005\u304c\u73fe\u308c\u308b\u6642\u306b\u306f\u3001\u3057\u307c\u3080\u3053\u3068\u306e\u306a\u3044\u6804\u5149\u306e\u51a0\u3092\u53d7\u3051\u308b\u3067\u3042\u308d\u3046\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pastor Seki then gave several words of exhortation and reminder to the soon to be ordained two pastors from this passage of Scripture.\u3000 \u95a2\u7267\u5e2b\u306f\u3001\u307e\u3082\u306a\u304f\u6309\u624b\u3092\u53d7\u3051\u308b\u4e8c\u4eba\u306e\u7267\u5e2b\u306b\u5411\u3051\u3066\u3001\u3053\u306e\u8056\u53e5\u304b\u3089\u3044\u304f\u3064\u304b\u306e\u52b1\u307e\u3057\u3068\u5fc3\u306b\u7559\u3081\u308b\u3079\u304d\u8a00\u8449\u3092\u8a9e\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Here is one of the things he said that I think is relevant for us and the message this morning.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u4e2d\u3067\u79c1\u9054\u3068\u4eca\u671d\u306e\u30e1\u30c3\u30bb\u30fc\u30b8\u306b\u95a2\u4fc2\u3059\u308b\u3068\u601d\u308f\u308c\u308b\u8a00\u8449\u3092\u7d39\u4ecb\u3057\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Pastor Seki said that authority has been entrusted (allotted) to pastors to shepherd the flock of God.\u3000 \u95a2\u7267\u5e2b\u306f\u3001\u7267\u4f1a\u8005\u306b\u306f\u795e\u306e\u7fa4\u308c\u3092\u7267\u4f1a\u3059\u308b\u6a29\u5a01\u304c\u59d4\u306d\u3089\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\uff08\u5272\u308a\u5f53\u3066\u3089\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\uff09\u3068\u8a9e\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>However, that authority is only effective as long as they humbly and obediently follow the Chief Shepherd, their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u305d\u306e\u6a29\u5a01\u306f\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u304c\u4e3b\u306a\u308b\u7f8a\u98fc\u3044\u3001\u4e3b\u3067\u3042\u308a\u6551\u3044\u4e3b\u3067\u3042\u308b\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u30fb\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u306b\u8b19\u865a\u306b\u5f93\u3046\u9650\u308a\u306b\u304a\u3044\u3066\u306e\u307f\u6709\u52b9\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Thus, in order to be a good shepherd to their flock, first and foremost they need to be good sheep that follow Jesus Christ.\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3001\u7f8a\u306e\u7fa4\u308c\u306b\u3068\u3063\u3066\u826f\u3044\u7f8a\u98fc\u3044\u3067\u3042\u308b\u305f\u3081\u306b\u306f\u3001\u4f55\u3088\u308a\u3082\u307e\u305a\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u30fb\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u306b\u5f93\u3046\u826f\u3044\u7f8a\u3067\u3042\u308b\u5fc5\u8981\u304c\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>This is a good reminder to all of us, who in different ways are entrusted with the care of leading others.\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3001\u69d8\u3005\u306a\u5f62\u3067\u4ed6\u8005\u3092\u5c0e\u304f\u3053\u3068\u3092\u4efb\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u79c1\u9054\u5168\u54e1\u306b\u3068\u3063\u3066\u3001\u826f\u3044\u6212\u3081\u3068\u306a\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>And, this is especially true for those who are called and anointed by God to shepherd people.\u3000 \u305d\u3057\u3066\u3001\u3053\u306e\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3001\u7f8a\u98fc\u3044\u3068\u3057\u3066\u795e\u304b\u3089\u53ec\u3055\u308c\u3001\u6cb9\u6ce8\u304c\u308c\u305f\u8005\u306b\u3068\u3063\u3066\u306f\u3001\u3068\u308a\u308f\u3051\u6b63\u3057\u3044\u3053\u3068\u306a\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The ordination of a pastor is to affirm these things and to pray over them, so that they can fulfill God\u2019s calling and anointing upon them to shepherd the flock.\u3000 \u7267\u5e2b\u306e\u6309\u624b\u306f\u3001\u3053\u308c\u3089\u306e\u3053\u3068\u3092\u78ba\u8a8d\u3057\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u304c\u7fa4\u308c\u3092\u7267\u3059\u308b\u305f\u3081\u306b\u795e\u306e\u53ec\u547d\u3068\u6cb9\u6ce8\u304e\u3092\u679c\u305f\u3059\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u3092\u7948\u308a\u3001\u898b\u5b88\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306a\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Please keep in mind that as pastors are called and anointed by God to shepherd His flock (church), \u7267\u5e2b\u304c\u795e\u306e\u7fa4\u308c\uff08\u6559\u4f1a\uff09\u3092\u7267\u3059\u308b\u305f\u3081\u306b\u795e\u306b\u53ec\u3055\u308c\u3001\u6cb9\u6ce8\u304c\u308c\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3001<\/p>\n<p>a king of Israel was called and anointed by God to shepherd His people.\u3000\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u738b\u3082\u795e\u306e\u6c11\u3092\u7267\u3059\u308b\u305f\u3081\u306b\u795e\u306b\u53ec\u3055\u308c\u3001\u6cb9\u6ce8\u304c\u308c\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3092\u5fc3\u306b\u304a\u7559\u3081\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Please keep what we read in 1 Peter 5:1-4 in mind as we look at the life of King Saul.\u3000 \u7b2c\u4e00\u30da\u30c6\u30ed\uff15\u7ae0\uff11\u7bc0\u304b\u3089\uff14\u7bc0\u306b\u66f8\u304b\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u5fc3\u306b\u7559\u3081\u306a\u304c\u3089\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u738b\u306e\u751f\u6daf\u3092\u898b\u3066\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Last Sunday, Pastor Okura talked about Samson.\u3000 \u5148\u9031\u306e\u65e5\u66dc\u65e5\u3001\u5927\u5009\u7267\u5e2b\u306f\u30b5\u30e0\u30bd\u30f3\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u8a9e\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>As we have seen in looking at Samson a person who is mentioned in the hall of faith in Hebrews 11 who was not perfect by any means,\u3000 \u30d8\u30d6\u30eb\u4eba\u3078\u306e\u624b\u7d19\uff11\uff11\u7ae0\u306e\u4fe1\u4ef0\u306e\u6bbf\u5802\u306b\u767b\u5834\u3059\u308b\u30b5\u30e0\u30bd\u30f3\u306f\u3001\u6c7a\u3057\u3066\u5b8c\u5168\u306a\u4eba\u7269\u3067\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3001<\/p>\n<p>we will see today in looking at Saul, a person who was chosen by God and anointed to be the first king of Israel who also was not perfect by any means.\u3000 \u4eca\u65e5\u3001\u898b\u3066\u3044\u304f\u795e\u306b\u9078\u3070\u308c\u3001\u6cb9\u6ce8\u304c\u308c\u3001\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u521d\u4ee3\u738b\u3068\u306a\u3063\u305f\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u3082\u307e\u305f\u6c7a\u3057\u3066\u5b8c\u5168\u3067\u306f\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>I hope you have come to realize through this message series on \u201cLearning from People, How to Live with God\u201d,\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u300c\u4eba\u304b\u3089\u5b66\u3073\u3001\u795e\u3068\u5171\u306b\u751f\u304d\u308b\u65b9\u6cd5\u300d\u3068\u3044\u3046\u30e1\u30c3\u30bb\u30fc\u30b8\u30b7\u30ea\u30fc\u30ba\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u3001<\/p>\n<p>that the people of the Bible are not commended for being perfect but for having faith in God.\u3000 \u8056\u66f8\u306e\u4eba\u3005\u304c\u79f0\u8cdb\u3055\u308c\u308b\u306e\u306f\u3001\u5b8c\u5168\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u304b\u3089\u3067\u306f\u306a\u304f\u3001\u795e\u3078\u306e\u4fe1\u4ef0\u3092\u6301\u3063\u3066\u3044\u305f\u304b\u3089\u3060\u3068\u3044\u3046\u3053\u3068\u3092\u7686\u3055\u3093\u304c\u609f\u3063\u3066\u304f\u3060\u3055\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u9858\u3063\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Which therefore reminds us as those who gather here to offer worship to God every Sunday, we are here only by God\u2019s mercy and His saving grace through faith in His Son Jesus studying these various people in the Bible, we are not here to be enamored by their goodness or be disgusted with their badness.\u3000 \u8056\u66f8\u306b\u767b\u5834\u3059\u308b\u69d8\u3005\u306a\u4eba\u3005\u3092\u5b66\u3076\u6642\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u306f\u5f7c\u3089\u306e\u5584\u826f\u3055\u306b\u9b45\u4e86\u3055\u308c\u305f\u308a\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u306e\u60aa\u3055\u306b\u5acc\u60aa\u611f\u3092\u62b1\u3044\u305f\u308a\u3059\u308b\u305f\u3081\u306b\u3053\u3053\u306b\u3044\u308b\u306e\u3067\u306f\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n<p>In studying these various people in the Bible, we are humbled to find our own flaws and weaknesses in them,\u3000 \u8056\u66f8\u306b\u767b\u5834\u3059\u308b\u69d8\u3005\u306a\u4eba\u3005\u3092\u5b66\u3076\u6642\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u306f\u5f7c\u3089\u306e\u4e2d\u306b\u81ea\u5206\u81ea\u8eab\u306e\u6b20\u70b9\u3084\u5f31\u70b9\u3092\u898b\u3064\u3051\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306b\u3088\u308a\u8b19\u865a\u306b\u3055\u308c\u3001<\/p>\n<p>as well as to continually be reminded that God is good and worthy of our trust and obedience.\u3000 \u307e\u305f\u3001\u795e\u306f\u5584\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u306e\u4fe1\u983c\u3068\u5f93\u9806\u306b\u5024\u3059\u308b\u65b9\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u7d76\u3048\u305a\u601d\u3044\u8d77\u3053\u3055\u305b\u3089\u308c\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Thus, as we look together at Saul, this morning, let us come with a heart to humbly learn how to live with God through his example.\u3000 \u3067\u3059\u304b\u3089\u3001\u4eca\u671d\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u306f\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u3092\u5171\u306b\u898b\u306a\u304c\u3089\u3001\u5f7c\u306e\u59ff\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u795e\u3068\u5171\u306b\u751f\u304d\u308b\u65b9\u6cd5\u3092\u8b19\u865a\u306b\u5b66\u3076\u5fc3\u3092\u6301\u3063\u3066\u3044\u304d\u307e\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The Times of the Judges officially came to an end when Saul was chosen by God to be the first king of Israel.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u304c\u795e\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u521d\u4ee3\u306e\u738b\u306b\u9078\u3070\u308c\u305f\u6642\u3001\u58eb\u5e2b\u8a18\u306e\u6642\u4ee3\u306f\u6b63\u5f0f\u306b\u7d42\u308f\u308a\u3092\u544a\u3052\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>However, the spiritual climate of a nation of people does not change overnight, \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u6c11\u65cf\u306e\u7cbe\u795e\u7684\u98a8\u571f\u306f\u4e00\u591c\u306b\u3057\u3066\u5909\u308f\u308b\u3082\u306e\u3067\u306f\u306a\u3044\u306e\u3067\u3001<\/p>\n<p>so a leadership change did not necessarily bring on a change in the people\u2019s attitudes toward God.\u3000\u6307\u5c0e\u8005\u304c\u5909\u308f\u3063\u305f\u304b\u3089\u3068\u3044\u3063\u3066\u3001\u4eba\u3005\u306e\u795e\u306b\u5bfe\u3059\u308b\u614b\u5ea6\u304c\u5909\u308f\u308b\u3068\u306f\u9650\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Remember, as has been noted several times already in regards to the Times of the Judges:\u3000 \u58eb\u5e2b\u8a18\u306e\u6642\u4ee3\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u306f\u3001\u65e2\u306b\u4f55\u5ea6\u304b\u8ff0\u3079\u305f\u3068\u304a\u308a\u3067\u3059\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>Judges 17:6\uff08\u58eb\u5e2b\u8a18\uff11\uff17\u7ae0\uff16\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n<p><strong>In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes. \u305d\u306e\u3053\u308d\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306b\u306f\u738b\u304c\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3001\u4eba\u3005\u306f\u304a\u306e\u304a\u306e\u81ea\u5206\u305f\u3061\u306e\u76ee\u306b\u6b63\u3057\u3044\u3068\u601d\u3046\u3053\u3068\u3092\u884c\u3063\u305f\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As we saw a few weeks back when we looked at Samuel, establishing a king over the people of Israel was not God\u2019s ideal for them.\u3000 \u6570\u9031\u9593\u524d\u306e\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u8a18\u3067\u898b\u305f\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3001\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u6c11\u306e\u4e0a\u306b\u738b\u3092\u7acb\u3066\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306f\u795e\u306e\u7406\u60f3\u3067\u306f\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>It was something that seemed right in their owns based on seeing the nations that surrounded them.\u3000 \u305d\u308c\u306f\u3001\u81ea\u5206\u9054\u3092\u53d6\u308a\u56f2\u3080\u56fd\u3005\u3092\u898b\u3066\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u304c\u6b63\u3057\u3044\u3068\u601d\u3063\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3060\u3063\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>1 Samuel 8:4-7\uff08\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u8a18\u4e0a\uff18\u7ae0\uff14\u7bc0\u2014\uff17\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n<p><strong><sup>4\u00a0<\/sup>Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at\u00a0Ramah;\u00a0<sup>5\u00a0<\/sup>and they said to him, \u201cBehold, you have grown old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now\u00a0appoint a king for us to judge us like all the nations.\u201d\u00a0<sup>6\u00a0<\/sup>But the thing was\u00a0displeasing in the sight of Samuel when they said, \u201cGive us a king to judge us.\u201d And\u00a0Samuel prayed to the\u00a0Lord.\u00a0<sup>7\u00a0<\/sup>The\u00a0Lord\u00a0said to Samuel, \u201cListen to the voice of the people in regard to all that they say to you, for\u00a0they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being king over them.\u201d <sup>4<\/sup>\u3053\u306e\u6642\u3001\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u9577\u8001\u305f\u3061\u306f\u307f\u306a\u96c6\u307e\u3063\u3066\u30e9\u30de\u306b\u304a\u308b\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u3082\u3068\u306b\u304d\u3066\u3001<sup>5<\/sup>\u8a00\u3063\u305f\u3001\u300c\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306f\u5e74\u8001\u3044\u3001\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306e\u5b50\u305f\u3061\u306f\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306e\u9053\u3092\u6b69\u307e\u306a\u3044\u3002\u4eca\u307b\u304b\u306e\u56fd\u3005\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3001\u308f\u308c\u308f\u308c\u3092\u3055\u3070\u304f\u738b\u3092\u3001\u308f\u308c\u308f\u308c\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306b\u7acb\u3066\u3066\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044\u300d\u3002<sup>6<\/sup>\u3057\u304b\u3057\u5f7c\u3089\u304c\u3001\u300c\u308f\u308c\u308f\u308c\u3092\u3055\u3070\u304f\u738b\u3092\u3001\u308f\u308c\u308f\u308c\u306b\u4e0e\u3048\u3088\u300d\u3068\u8a00\u3046\u306e\u3092\u805e\u3044\u3066\u3001\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306f\u559c\u3070\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u3002\u305d\u3057\u3066\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u304c\u4e3b\u306b\u7948\u308b\u3068\u3001<sup>7<\/sup>\u4e3b\u306f\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306b\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u305f\u3001\u300c\u6c11\u304c\u3001\u3059\u3079\u3066\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306b\u8a00\u3046\u6240\u306e\u58f0\u306b\u805e\u304d\u5f93\u3044\u306a\u3055\u3044\u3002\u5f7c\u3089\u304c\u6368\u3066\u308b\u306e\u306f\u3042\u306a\u305f\u3067\u306f\u306a\u304f\u3001\u308f\u305f\u3057\u3092\u6368\u3066\u3066\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u306e\u4e0a\u306b\u308f\u305f\u3057\u304c\u738b\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u8a8d\u3081\u306a\u3044\u306e\u3067\u3042\u308b\u300d\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thus, we see that God allowed the people of Israel to have a king to rule over them.\u3000\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u306f\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u6c11\u304c\u81ea\u5206\u9054\u3092\u6cbb\u3081\u308b\u738b\u3092\u6301\u3064\u3053\u3068\u3092\u8a31\u3055\u308c\u305f\u3053\u3068\u304c\u308f\u304b\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, God forewarned them of what it meant for them to live under the authority of a king.\u3000 \u540c\u6642\u306b\u795e\u69d8\u306f\u5f7c\u3089\u304c\u738b\u306e\u6a29\u5a01\u306e\u4e0b\u306b\u751f\u304d\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306e\u610f\u5473\u3092\u8b66\u544a\u3055\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>He warned them that their sons and daughters as well as their best lands will be taken away to serve the king\u2019s household and provide for the king\u2019s officers and servants.\u3000 \u3000\u795e\u69d8\u306f\u5f7c\u3089\u306e\u606f\u5b50\u3084\u5a18\u3001\u305d\u3057\u3066\u6700\u826f\u306e\u571f\u5730\u306f\u738b\u306e\u5bb6\u306b\u4ed5\u3048\u308b\u305f\u3081\u306b\u53d6\u3089\u308c\u3001\u738b\u306e\u5f79\u4eba\u3084\u53ec\u4f7f\u3044\u306e\u990a\u3044\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306b\u4e0e\u3048\u3089\u308c\u308b\u3068\u8b66\u544a\u3057\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>He warned them that the king will also collect taxes for himself and ultimately all of them will become his servants.\u3000 \u307e\u305f\u3001\u738b\u306f\u81ea\u5206\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306b\u7a0e\u91d1\u3092\u53d6\u308a\u7acb\u3066\u3001\u6700\u7d42\u7684\u306b\u306f\u5168\u3066\u306e\u4eba\u304c\u738b\u306e\u50d5\u306b\u306a\u308b\u3068\u8b66\u544a\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Worst of all, Samuel warned them that when they cry out to God because of what the king has imposed upon them, He will not answer them.\u3000 \u6700\u60aa\u306a\u3053\u3068\u306b\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306f\u3001\u738b\u304c\u81ea\u5206\u305f\u3061\u306b\u8ab2\u3057\u305f\u3053\u3068\u306e\u3086\u3048\u306b\u795e\u69d8\u306b\u53eb\u3093\u3067\u3082\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u306f\u7b54\u3048\u3066\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3089\u306a\u3044\u3068\u8b66\u544a\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Yet, the Bible says that the people refused to listen to the voice of Samuel, and they demanded to have a king (1 Samuel 8:19).\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u8056\u66f8\u306b\u3088\u308c\u3070\u3001\u6c11\u306f\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u58f0\u306b\u8033\u3092\u50be\u3051\u305a\u3001\u738b\u3092\u6301\u3064\u3053\u3068\u3092\u6c42\u3081\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\uff08\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u8a18\u4e0a\uff18\u7ae0\uff11\uff19\u7bc0\uff09\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the Lord told Samuel, \u201cListen to their voice and\u00a0appoint them a king\u201d (1 Samuel 8:22). \u305d\u308c\u3067\u3001\u4e3b\u306f\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306b\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u305f\u3001\u300c\u5f7c\u3089\u306e\u58f0\u306b\u805e\u304d\u5f93\u3044\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306b\u738b\u3092\u7acb\u3066\u3088\u300d\uff08\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u8a18\u4e0a\uff18\u7ae0\uff12\uff12\u7bc0\uff09\u3002<\/p>\n<p>And Saul was chosen by God to be the first king of Israel.\u3000 \u3053\u3046\u3057\u3066\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u795e\u69d8\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u6700\u521d\u306e\u738b\u306b\u9078\u3070\u308c\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>How this all took place is recorded for us in 1 Samuel 9-11.\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u7d4c\u7def\u306f\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u8a18\u4e0a\uff19\u7ae0\u304b\u3089\uff11\uff11\u7ae0\u306b\u8a18\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Saul is introduced as the son of Kish from the tribe of Benjamin.\u3000\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u30d9\u30cb\u30e4\u30df\u30f3\u65cf\u306e\u30ad\u30b7\u306e\u5b50\u3068\u3057\u3066\u7d39\u4ecb\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Regarding Saul\u2019s physical attributes, this is how he is described:\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306e\u8eab\u4f53\u7684\u7279\u5fb4\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u306f\u3001\u3053\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u8aac\u660e\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>1 Samuel 9:2\uff08\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u8a18\u4e0a\uff19\u7ae0\uff12\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n<p>a\u00a0choice and handsome\u00a0man, and there was not a more handsome person than he among the sons of Israel;\u00a0from his shoulders and up he was taller than any of the people. \u82e5\u304f\u3066\u9e97\u3057\u304f\u3001\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u4eba\u3005\u306e\u3046\u3061\u306b\u5f7c\u3088\u308a\u3082\u9e97\u3057\u3044\u4eba\u306f\u306a\u304f\u3001\u6c11\u306e\u3060\u308c\u3088\u308a\u3082\u80a9\u304b\u3089\u4e0a\u3001\u80cc\u304c\u9ad8\u304b\u3063\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>If you wanted as a king, someone who was good looking and would literally stand out in a crowd, Saul was the prime candidate.\u3000 \u5bb9\u59ff\u7aef\u9e97\u3067\u3001\u6587\u5b57\u901a\u308a\u7fa4\u8846\u306e\u4e2d\u3067\u76ee\u7acb\u3064\u4eba\u7269\u3092\u738b\u3068\u3059\u308b\u306a\u3089\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u6700\u6709\u529b\u5019\u88dc\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>However, the king of Israel was not to be chosen by the people by way of a popularity contest.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u738b\u306f\u4eba\u6c17\u6295\u7968\u3067\u6c11\u304c\u9078\u3076\u3082\u306e\u3067\u306f\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The choice was to be made by God and through His servant, Samuel, who was a priest, prophet, and judge, at that time.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u9078\u629e\u306f\u795e\u69d8\u304c\u3001\u5f53\u6642\u3001\u796d\u53f8\u3067\u3042\u308a\u9810\u8a00\u8005\u3067\u3042\u308a\u88c1\u5224\u5b98\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u795e\u306e\u50d5\u3001\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u306a\u3055\u308c\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306b\u306a\u3063\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>So, a wealthy man who owned some donkeys.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306e\u7236\u30ad\u30b7\u306f\u5927\u91d1\u6301\u3061\u3067\u3001\u30ed\u30d0\u3092\u6570\u982d\u6240\u6709\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>One day, those donkeys were lost, and Saul is told by his father to take one of the servants to go search for the donkeys.\u3000 \u3042\u308b\u65e5\u3001\u305d\u306e\u30ed\u30d0\u304c\u884c\u65b9\u4e0d\u660e\u306b\u306a\u308a\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u7236\u89aa\u304b\u3089\u3001\u53ec\u4f7f\u3044\u306e\u4e00\u4eba\u3092\u9023\u308c\u3066\u30ed\u30d0\u3092\u63a2\u3057\u306b\u884c\u304f\u3088\u3046\u306b\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Saul and the servant go looking for the donkeys all over the place for quite some time but cannot find them.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u3068\u53ec\u4f7f\u3044\u306f\u30ed\u30d0\u3092\u63a2\u3057\u56de\u308b\u304c\u898b\u3064\u304b\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n<p>As Saul contemplates returning back home, the servant tells him:\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u304c\u5bb6\u306b\u623b\u308d\u3046\u3068\u8003\u3048\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3068\u3001\u53ec\u4f7f\u3044\u304c\u5f7c\u306b\u8a00\u3044\u307e\u3059\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>1 Samuel 9:6\uff08\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u8a18\u4e0a\uff19\u7ae0\uff16\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cBehold now, there is\u00a0a man of God in this city, and the man is held in honor;\u00a0all that he says surely comes true. 300,000 from the sons of Israel and 30,000 men of Judah answered the call.\u3053\u306e\u547c\u3073\u304b\u3051\u306b\u5bfe\u3057\u3066\u3001\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u5b50\uff13\uff10\u4e07\u4eba\u3068\u30e6\u30c0\u306e\u7537\uff13\u4e07\u4eba\u306e\u8a08\uff13\uff13\u4e07\u4eba\u304c\u547c\u3073\u304b\u3051\u306b\u5fdc\u3058\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The next morning Saul led the Israelites into the midst of the camp of the Ammonites and defeated them.\u3000 \u7fcc\u671d\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u6c11\u3092\u7387\u3044\u3066\u30a2\u30e2\u30f3\u4eba\u306e\u9663\u55b6\u306e\u771f\u3093\u4e2d\u306b\u5165\u308a\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u3092\u6253\u3061\u7834\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards, Saul gave glory to God for the victory, acknowledging that it was the Lord who had accomplished deliverance in Israel.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u5f8c\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u52dd\u5229\u306e\u6804\u5149\u3092\u795e\u306b\u6367\u3052\u3001\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306b\u89e3\u653e\u3092\u6210\u3057\u9042\u3052\u305f\u306e\u306f\u4e3b\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u8a8d\u3081\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>1 Samuel 11:14-15\uff08\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u8a18\u4e0a\uff11\uff11\u7ae0\uff11\uff14\u7bc0\u2014\uff11\uff15\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n<p><strong><sup>14\u00a0<\/sup>Then Samuel said to the people, \u201cCome and let us go to\u00a0Gilgal and\u00a0renew the kingdom there.\u201d\u00a0<sup>15\u00a0<\/sup>So all the people went to Gilgal, and there they made Saul king\u00a0before the\u00a0Lord\u00a0in Gilgal. There they also\u00a0offered sacrifices of peace offerings before the\u00a0Lord; and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly. <sup>14<\/sup>\u305d\u3053\u3067\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306f\u6c11\u306b\u8a00\u3063\u305f\u3001\u300c\u3055\u3042\u3001\u30ae\u30eb\u30ac\u30eb\u3078\u884c\u3063\u3066\u3001\u3042\u305d\u3053\u3067\u738b\u56fd\u3092\u4e00\u65b0\u3057\u3088\u3046\u300d\u3002 was thirty years old when he began to reign as the king of Israel, and he reigned for forty-two years.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u304c\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u738b\u3068\u3057\u3066\u541b\u81e8\u3057\u59cb\u3081\u305f\u306e\u306f\uff13\uff10\u6b73\u306e\u6642\u3067\u3001\u5f7c\u306f\uff14\uff12\u5e74\u9593\u3001\u541b\u81e8\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>However, Saul\u2019s reign was filled with many troubles because of his lack of love for God and his distrust of the godly men that surrounded him.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306e\u6cbb\u4e16\u306f\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u3078\u306e\u611b\u306e\u6b20\u5982\u3068\u3001\u5f7c\u3092\u53d6\u308a\u5dfb\u304f\u656c\u8654\u6df1\u3044\u4eba\u3005\u3078\u306e\u4e0d\u4fe1\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306b\u3001\u591a\u304f\u306e\u554f\u984c\u3067\u6e80\u3061\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>This caused Saul to turn away from following God\u2019s commandments and basically drive himself to madness.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u305f\u3081\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u795e\u306e\u6212\u3081\u306b\u5f93\u3046\u3053\u3068\u304b\u3089\u96e2\u308c\u3001\u57fa\u672c\u7684\u306b\u81ea\u3089\u3092\u72c2\u6c17\u3078\u3068\u8ffd\u3044\u3084\u3063\u3066\u3044\u304d\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>At the start of his reign as king, he was closely tied to Samuel.\u3000 \u738b\u3068\u3057\u3066\u306e\u6cbb\u4e16\u306e\u521d\u3081\u3001\u5f7c\u306f\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u3068\u5bc6\u63a5\u306b\u7d50\u3073\u3064\u3044\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Even as Saul called the people to gather and went out into battle, Samuel would accompany him.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u304c\u6c11\u3092\u53ec\u96c6\u3057\u3001\u6226\u3044\u306b\u51fa\u304b\u3051\u308b\u3068\u304d\u3082\u3001\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306f\u5f7c\u306b\u4ed8\u304d\u6dfb\u3063\u3066\u3044\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>At such called meetings where the people were gathered, Samuel was in charge of the religious ceremony, while Saul was in charge of the military aspects of preparing for the battle.\u3000 \u6c11\u304c\u53ec\u96c6\u3055\u308c\u308b\u96c6\u4f1a\u3067\u306f\u3001\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u304c\u5b97\u6559\u5100\u5f0f\u3092\u62c5\u5f53\u3057\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u6226\u3044\u306b\u5099\u3048\u308b\u8ecd\u4e8b\u9762\u3092\u62c5\u5f53\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>However, Saul\u2019s relationship with Samuel started to deteriorate after one particular incident.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u3068\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u95a2\u4fc2\u306f\u3001\u3042\u308b\u51fa\u6765\u4e8b\u3092\u5883\u306b\u60aa\u5316\u3057\u59cb\u3081\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>This incident is recorded in 1 Samuel 13.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u51fa\u6765\u4e8b\u306f\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u8a18\u4e0a\uff11\uff13\u7ae0\u306b\u8a18\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Saul had summoned the people to Gilgal after his son Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u606f\u5b50\u306e\u30e8\u30ca\u30bf\u30f3\u304c\u30b2\u30d0\u306b\u3044\u305f\u30da\u30ea\u30b7\u30c6\u4eba\u306e\u5b88\u5099\u968a\u3092\u6253\u3061\u7834\u3063\u305f\u5f8c\u3001\u6c11\u3092\u30ae\u30eb\u30ac\u30eb\u306b\u547c\u3073\u5bc4\u305b\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>In response to this, the Philistines assembled to fight with Israel.\u3000 \u3053\u308c\u306b\u5bfe\u3057\u3066\u3001\u30da\u30ea\u30b7\u30c6\u4eba\u306f\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u3068\u6226\u3046\u305f\u3081\u306b\u96c6\u307e\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>They came with 30,000 chariots and 6,000 horsemen, and\u00a0many more people.\u3000 \u5f7c\u3089\u306f\uff13\u4e07\u306e\u6226\u8eca\u3068\uff16\u5343\u306e\u9a0e\u5175\u3001\u3055\u3089\u306b\u591a\u304f\u306e\u6c11\u3092\u5f15\u304d\u9023\u308c\u3066\u6765\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The men of Israel who saw these Philistines hid themselves in caves, in thickets, in cliffs, in cellars, and in pits.\u3000 \u30da\u30ea\u30b7\u30c6\u4eba\u3092\u898b\u305f\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u4eba\u3005\u306f\u6d1e\u7a9f\u3001\u8302\u307f\u3001\u5d16\u3001\u5730\u4e0b\u5ba4\u3001\u7a74\u306e\u4e2d\u306b\u8eab\u3092\u96a0\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>And some of them went to lands further away.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u3046\u3061\u306e\u3042\u308b\u8005\u306f\u3001\u3055\u3089\u306b\u9060\u304f\u306e\u571f\u5730\u306b\u9003\u3052\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Those who remained were trembling, while waiting for Samuel to come offer a burnt offering and peace offerings on behalf of the people to God.\u3000 \u6b8b\u3063\u305f\u8005\u305f\u3061\u306f\u9707\u3048\u306a\u304c\u3089\u3001\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u304c\u6c11\u3092\u4ee3\u8868\u3057\u3066\u71d4\u796d\u3068\u5e73\u548c\u306e\u4f9b\u3048\u7269\u3092\u795e\u306b\u6367\u3052\u306b\u6765\u308b\u306e\u3092\u5f85\u3063\u3066\u3044\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>However, Saul, not being able to wait any longer for Samuel who was delayed in coming at the appointed time, offered the burnt offering himself.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u3001\u7d04\u675f\u306e\u6642\u9593\u306b\u6765\u308b\u306e\u304c\u9045\u308c\u305f\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u3092\u5f85\u3064\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u305a\u3001\u81ea\u5206\u3067\u71d4\u796d\u3092\u6367\u3052\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Samuel came right after Saul had finished offering the burnt offering, and questioned Saul why he had done so.\u3000 \u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306f\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u304c\u71d4\u796d\u3092\u6367\u3052\u7d42\u308f\u3063\u305f\u76f4\u5f8c\u306b\u3084\u3063\u3066\u6765\u3066\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306b\u305d\u306e\u7406\u7531\u3092\u554f\u3044\u305f\u3060\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Saul basically said that he saw that the people were scattering from him, so he forced himself to offer the burnt offering.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u57fa\u672c\u7684\u306b\u6c11\u304c\u81ea\u5206\u304b\u3089\u96e2\u308c\u3066\u6563\u3063\u3066\u3044\u304f\u306e\u3092\u898b\u3066\u3001\u7121\u7406\u306b\u713c\u304d\u5c3d\u304f\u3059\u732e\u3052\u7269\u3092\u6367\u3052\u305f\u3068\u8a00\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Here is what Samuel said to Saul in response to this:\u3000 \u3053\u308c\u306b\u5bfe\u3057\u3066\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u304c\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306b\u8a00\u3063\u305f\u8a00\u8449\u304c\u3053\u308c\u3067\u3059\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>1 Samuel 13:13-14\uff08\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u8a18\u4e0a\uff11\uff13\u7ae0\uff11\uff13\u7bc0\u2014\uff11\uff14\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cYou have acted foolishly;\u00a0you have not kept the commandment of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0your God, which He commanded you, for now the\u00a0Lord\u00a0would have established your kingdom\u00a0over Israel\u00a0forever.\u00a0<sup>14\u00a0<\/sup>But\u00a0now your kingdom shall not endure. The Lord has sought out for Himself a man after His own heart, and the\u00a0Lord\u00a0has appointed him as ruler over His people, because you have not kept what the\u00a0Lord\u00a0commanded you.\u201d\u300c\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306f\u611a\u304b\u306a\u3053\u3068\u3092\u3057\u305f\u3002\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306f\u3001\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306e\u795e\u3001\u4e3b\u306e\u547d\u3058\u3089\u308c\u305f\u547d\u4ee4\u3092\u5b88\u3089\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u3002\u3082\u3057\u5b88\u3063\u305f\u306a\u3089\u3070\u3001\u4e3b\u306f\u4eca\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306e\u738b\u56fd\u3092\u9577\u304f\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u4e0a\u306b\u78ba\u4fdd\u3055\u308c\u305f\u3067\u3042\u308d\u3046\u3002<sup>14<\/sup>\u3057\u304b\u3057\u4eca\u306f\u3001\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306e\u738b\u56fd\u306f\u7d9a\u304b\u306a\u3044\u3067\u3042\u308d\u3046\u3002\u4e3b\u306f\u81ea\u5206\u306e\u5fc3\u306b\u304b\u306a\u3046\u4eba\u3092\u6c42\u3081\u3066\u3001\u305d\u306e\u4eba\u306b\u6c11\u306e\u541b\u3068\u306a\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u547d\u3058\u3089\u308c\u305f\u3002\u3042\u306a\u305f\u304c\u4e3b\u306e\u547d\u3058\u3089\u308c\u305f\u4e8b\u3092\u5b88\u3089\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u304b\u3089\u3067\u3042\u308b\u300d\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main issue with Saul was that he did not keep what the Lord commanded him to do.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306e\u4e3b\u306a\u554f\u984c\u306f\u3001\u4e3b\u304c\u547d\u3058\u3089\u308c\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3092\u5b88\u3089\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>In other words, Saul\u2019s primary issue was disobedience toward God, his Lord, the King of kings.\u3000 \u8a00\u3044\u63db\u3048\u308c\u3070\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306e\u4e3b\u306a\u554f\u984c\u306f\u4e3b\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u738b\u306e\u738b\u3067\u3042\u308b\u795e\u3078\u306e\u4e0d\u5f93\u9806\u3060\u3063\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>A similar situation took place during another war which was against the Amalekites.\u3000\u3000 \u540c\u3058\u3088\u3046\u306a\u72b6\u6cc1\u306f\u3001\u30a2\u30de\u30ec\u30af\u4eba\u3068\u306e\u6226\u3044\u3067\u3082\u8d77\u3053\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Before going to war, Samuel said the following things to Saul:\u3000 \u51fa\u5f81\u524d\u3001\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306f\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306b\u6b21\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u8a00\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>1 Samuel 15:1-3\uff08\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u8a18\u4e0a\uff11\uff15\u7ae0\uff11\u7bc0\u2014\uff13\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe\u00a0Lord\u00a0sent me to anoint you as king over His people, over Israel; now therefore, listen to the\u00a0words of the\u00a0Lord.\u00a0<sup>2\u00a0<\/sup>Thus says the\u00a0Lord\u00a0of hosts, \u2018I will\u00a0punish Amalek\u00a0<em>for<\/em>\u00a0what he did to Israel, how he set himself against him on the way while he was coming up from Egypt.\u00a0<sup>3\u00a0<\/sup>Now go and strike Amalek and\u00a0utterly destroy all that he has, and do not spare him; Behold,\u00a0to obey is better than sacrifice, a<em>nd<\/em>\u00a0to heed than the fat of rams. <sup>23\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cFor rebellion is as the sin of\u00a0divination, and insubordination is as\u00a0iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the\u00a0Lord, He has also rejected you that day, Samuel did not see Saul again until the day of his death.\u3000 had lost his close friend and mentor Samuel because he didn\u2019t love God completely enough to obey Him.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u304c\u89aa\u53cb\u3067\u3042\u308a\u5e2b\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u3092\u5931\u3063\u305f\u306e\u306f\u3001\u5f7c\u304c\u795e\u69d8\u3092\u5b8c\u5168\u306b\u611b\u3057\u3066\u795e\u69d8\u306b\u5f93\u308f\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u304b\u3089\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Instead, he feared the people and chose to please the people rather than God.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u304b\u308f\u308a\u306b\u6c11\u3092\u6050\u308c\u3001\u795e\u3088\u308a\u3082\u6c11\u3092\u559c\u3070\u305b\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u9078\u3093\u3060\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>In King Saul, we see a person who started off with great promise but sadly ended up in utter disgrace.\u3000 \u5927\u304d\u306a\u5c06\u6765\u6027\u3092\u6301\u3063\u3066\u51fa\u767a\u3057\u305f\u3082\u306e\u306e\u3001\u60b2\u3057\u3044\u3053\u3068\u306b\u5168\u304f\u306e\u4e0d\u540d\u8a89\u306b\u7d42\u308f\u3063\u305f\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u738b\u3068\u3044\u3046\u4eba\u7269\u3092\u79c1\u9054\u306f\u3053\u3053\u306b\u898b\u308b\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>For after this, his life spirals out of control.\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u5f8c\u3001\u5f7c\u306e\u4eba\u751f\u306f\u5236\u5fa1\u4e0d\u80fd\u306b\u9665\u3063\u3066\u3044\u304f\u304b\u3089\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>I mentioned earlier that Saul\u2019s reign was filled with many troubles because of his lack of love for God and his distrust of the godly men that surrounded him.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306e\u6cbb\u4e16\u306f\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u3078\u306e\u611b\u306e\u6b20\u5982\u3068\u3001\u5f7c\u3092\u53d6\u308a\u5dfb\u304f\u656c\u8654\u306a\u4eba\u3005\u3078\u306e\u4e0d\u4fe1\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306b\u3001\u591a\u304f\u306e\u554f\u984c\u306b\u6e80\u3061\u3066\u3044\u305f\u3053\u3068\u306f\u5148\u306b\u8ff0\u3079\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Besides Samuel who God had blessed Saul with, God had blessed him with a godly son in Jonathan and a godly son-in-law in David.\u3000 \u795e\u69d8\u304c\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306b\u795d\u798f\u3092\u4e0e\u3048\u305f\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u4ed6\u306b\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u306f\u30e8\u30ca\u30bf\u30f3\u3068\u3044\u3046\u656c\u8654\u306a\u606f\u5b50\u3068\u30c0\u30d3\u30c7\u3068\u3044\u3046\u656c\u8654\u306a\u5a7f\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u3092\u795d\u798f\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Because of time, I will not go into Saul\u2019s relationship with Jonathan and David in detail,\u3000 \u6642\u9593\u306e\u95a2\u4fc2\u3067\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u3068\u30e8\u30ca\u30bf\u30f3\u3001\u30c0\u30d3\u30c7\u306e\u95a2\u4fc2\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u306f\u8a73\u3057\u304f\u89e6\u308c\u307e\u305b\u3093\u304c\u3001<\/p>\n<p>but because of his jealousy and hatred toward David, Saul tried to kill both David and Jonathan.\u3000\u30c0\u30d3\u30c7\u306b\u5bfe\u3059\u308b\u5ac9\u59ac\u3068\u618e\u3057\u307f\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306b\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u30c0\u30d3\u30c7\u3068\u30e8\u30ca\u30bf\u30f3\u3092\u6bba\u305d\u3046\u3068\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Saul was driven to madness towards the end of his life, and he died a most tragic death.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u751f\u6daf\u306e\u7d42\u308f\u308a\u306b\u72c2\u6c17\u306b\u8ffd\u3044\u8fbc\u307e\u308c\u3001\u6700\u3082\u60b2\u5287\u7684\u306a\u6b7b\u3092\u9042\u3052\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>So, what can we learn from Saul\u2019s life?\u3000 \u3067\u306f\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u306f\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306e\u751f\u6daf\u304b\u3089\u4f55\u3092\u5b66\u3076\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u308b\u3067\u3057\u3087\u3046\u304b\uff1f<\/p>\n<p>Physically speaking, Saul was tall.\u3000 \u8089\u4f53\u7684\u306b\u8a00\u3048\u3070\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u80cc\u304c\u9ad8\u304b\u3063\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>However, spiritually speaking, Saul was small.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u970a\u7684\u306b\u8a00\u3048\u3070\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u5c0f\u3055\u304b\u3063\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Early on, Saul was not a proud man, but was ready to admit his unimportance, because his tribe, Benjamin, was insignificant.\u3000 \u5f53\u521d\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u50b2\u6162\u306a\u4eba\u9593\u3067\u306f\u306a\u304f\u3001\u81ea\u5206\u306e\u90e8\u65cf\u3067\u3042\u308b\u30d9\u30cb\u30e4\u30df\u30f3\u306f\u53d6\u308b\u306b\u8db3\u3089\u306a\u3044\u5b58\u5728\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u305f\u3081\u3001\u81ea\u5206\u306e\u91cd\u8981\u6027\u306e\u4f4e\u3055\u3092\u8a8d\u3081\u3088\u3046\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Saul was attentive to Samuel\u2019s early instructions and his heart was changed under the influence of the Spirit of God.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u521d\u671f\u306e\u6307\u793a\u306b\u6ce8\u610f\u6df1\u304f\u8033\u3092\u50be\u3051\u3001\u795e\u306e\u970a\u306e\u5f71\u97ff\u3092\u53d7\u3051\u3066\u5fc3\u304c\u5909\u3048\u3089\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>However, the success which God gave Saul in political and military affairs made him more arrogant, distrusting of others, and rash in his decision-making.\u3000\u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u304c\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306b\u653f\u6cbb\u7684\u30fb\u8ecd\u4e8b\u7684\u306a\u6210\u529f\u3092\u4e0e\u3048\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u50b2\u6162\u306b\u306a\u308a\u3001\u4ed6\u8005\u4e0d\u4fe1\u306b\u9665\u308a\u3001\u8efd\u7387\u306a\u6c7a\u65ad\u3092\u3059\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306b\u306a\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, instead of the good Spirit of God, an evil spirit took over in Saul\u2019s life, and a fearful depression repeatedly seized him.\u3000 \u60b2\u3057\u3044\u3053\u3068\u306b\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306e\u4eba\u751f\u306b\u306f\u795e\u306e\u826f\u304d\u970a\u306e\u4ee3\u308f\u308a\u306b\u60aa\u970a\u304c\u4e57\u308a\u79fb\u308a\u3001\u6050\u308d\u3057\u3044\u30c7\u30d7\u30ec\u30c3\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u306b\u4f55\u5ea6\u3082\u8972\u308f\u308c\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The key verse for Saul\u2019s life was what God spoke through Samuel to him in 1 Samuel 15:22-23.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306e\u4eba\u751f\u306b\u3068\u3063\u3066\u91cd\u8981\u306a\u8056\u53e5\u306f\u3001\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u8a18\u4e0a\uff11\uff15\u7ae0\uff12\uff12\u7bc0\u304b\u3089\uff12\uff13\u7bc0\u3067\u795e\u69d8\u304c\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u5f7c\u306b\u8a9e\u3089\u308c\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>1 these verses, God makes it very clear that He desires our obedience.\u3000 \u3053\u308c\u3089\u306e\u8056\u53e5\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u306f\u79c1\u9054\u306e\u5f93\u9806\u3092\u671b\u3093\u3067\u304a\u3089\u308c\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u660e\u78ba\u306b\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>He makes it clear that for us to obey Him is better than offering sacrifices to him.\u3000 \u79c1\u9054\u304c\u795e\u306b\u5f93\u3046\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3001\u795e\u306b\u3044\u3051\u306b\u3048\u3092\u6367\u3052\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3088\u308a\u3082\u826f\u3044\u3053\u3068\u306a\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>In fact, He says that to disobey Him, that is, to rebel against Him, is as the sin of divination.\u3000 \u5b9f\u969b\u3001\u795e\u306b\u5f93\u308f\u306a\u3044\u3053\u3068\u3001\u3064\u307e\u308a\u795e\u306b\u53cd\u6297\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3001\u5360\u3044\u306e\u7f6a\u3068\u540c\u3058\u3060\u3068\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Disobeying God is like the sin of witchcraft or seeking evil spirits.\u3000 idolatry.\u307e\u305f\u3001\u5076\u50cf\u793c\u62dd\u306b\u3082\u4f3c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, toward the very end of Saul\u2019s life, when he was faced with the threat of the Philistines in warfare,\u3000 \u8208\u5473\u6df1\u3044\u3053\u3068\u306b\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306e\u751f\u6daf\u306e\u6700\u5f8c\u306e\u9803\u3001\u30da\u30ea\u30b7\u30c6\u4eba\u306e\u8105\u5a01\u3068\u6226\u3044\u306b\u76f4\u9762\u3057\u305f\u3068\u304d\u3001<\/p>\n<p>instead of humbly turning to God in desperation, he sought out a woman who was a medium in a place called En-dor.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u7d76\u671b\u3057\u3066\u795e\u306b\u3078\u308a\u304f\u3060\u308b\u306e\u3067\u306f\u306a\u304f\u3001\u30a8\u30f3\u30c9\u30eb\u3068\u3044\u3046\u5834\u6240\u306b\u970a\u5a92\u5e2b\u306e\u5973\u6027\u3092\u63a2\u3057\u6c42\u3081\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Saul asks the woman to call up the dead spirit of Samuel, so as to seek his counsel.\u3000 \u3000\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u305d\u306e\u5973\u306b\u3001\u30b5\u30e0\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u6b7b\u3093\u3060\u970a\u3092\u547c\u3073\u51fa\u3057\u3066\u3001\u5f7c\u306e\u52a9\u8a00\u3092\u6c42\u3081\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306b\u983c\u307f\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>This in itself shows that Saul truly lacked a loving relationship with God.\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u3053\u3068\u81ea\u4f53\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u304c\u795e\u3068\u306e\u611b\u306b\u6e80\u3061\u305f\u95a2\u4fc2\u3092\u672c\u5f53\u306b\u6b20\u3044\u3066\u3044\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3092\u793a\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>For rather than going straight to God, he was hoping to receive counsel from a man of God who was dead.\u3000 \u306a\u305c\u306a\u3089\u3001\u5f7c\u306f\u795e\u306b\u76f4\u8ac7\u5224\u3059\u308b\u306e\u3067\u306f\u306a\u304f\u3001\u6b7b\u3093\u3060\u795e\u306e\u4eba\u304b\u3089\u52a9\u8a00\u3092\u53d7\u3051\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u671b\u3093\u3067\u3044\u305f\u304b\u3089\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Now, let us think more in detail of the difference between obedience and sacrifice.\u3000\u3000 \u3055\u3066\u3001\u5f93\u9806\u3068\u72a0\u7272\u306e\u9055\u3044\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u3082\u3063\u3068\u8a73\u3057\u304f\u8003\u3048\u3066\u307f\u307e\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Let us think of these two things in the context of relationships.\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u4e8c\u3064\u306e\u3053\u3068\u3092\u4eba\u9593\u95a2\u4fc2\u306e\u4e2d\u3067\u8003\u3048\u3066\u307f\u307e\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n<p>When you come to the worship service every Sunday morning, are you thinking to yourself, \u201cWow, what a sacrifice I am making in coming to offer worship to God\u201d?\u3000 \u6bce\u9031\u65e5\u66dc\u65e5\u306e\u671d\u3001\u793c\u62dd\u306b\u6765\u308b\u6642\u3001\u7686\u3055\u3093\u306f\u300c\u795e\u306b\u793c\u62dd\u3092\u6367\u3052\u306b\u6765\u308b\u306a\u3093\u3066\u3001\u79c1\u306f\u306a\u3093\u3068\u3044\u3046\u72a0\u7272\u3092\u6255\u3063\u3066\u3044\u308b\u306e\u3060\u308d\u3046\u300d\u3068\u601d\u3063\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3067\u3057\u3087\u3046\u304b\u3002<\/p>\n<p>I would like to think that is not the case.\u3000 \u305d\u3046\u3067\u306f\u306a\u3044\u3068\u601d\u3044\u305f\u3044\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Most likely you come to the worship service every Sunday morning out of a love for God \u307b\u3068\u3093\u3069\u306e\u5834\u5408\u3001\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306f\u795e\u3078\u306e\u611b\u3086\u3048\u306b\u6bce\u9031\u65e5\u66dc\u65e5\u306e\u671d\u306b\u793c\u62dd\u306b\u6765\u3066\u3044\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001<\/p>\n<p>which allows you to freely come in obedience to God\u2019s will for us to worship Him and not forsake assembling together.\u3000\u305d\u306e\u611b\u3086\u3048\u306b\u3001\u795e\u3092\u793c\u62dd\u3057\u3001\u96c6\u3046\u3053\u3068\u3092\u3084\u3081\u306a\u3044\u3067\u307b\u3057\u3044\u3068\u3044\u3046\u795e\u306e\u5fa1\u5fc3\u306b\u5f93\u3063\u3066\u81ea\u7531\u306b\u793c\u62dd\u306b\u6765\u3066\u3044\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Based on a loving relationship with God, we are able to joyfully obey Him.\u3000 \u795e\u3068\u306e\u611b\u306e\u95a2\u4fc2\u306b\u57fa\u3065\u3044\u3066\u3001\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306f\u559c\u3093\u3067\u795e\u306b\u5f93\u3046\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>However, if obedience is seen as a religious obligation like offering a sacrifice, it will seem like a chore.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u3082\u3057\u5f93\u9806\u304c\u751f\u8d04\u3092\u6367\u3052\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306a\u5b97\u6559\u7684\u306a\u7fa9\u52d9\u3068\u307f\u306a\u3055\u308c\u308b\u306a\u3089\u3001\u305d\u308c\u306f\u9762\u5012\u306a\u3053\u3068\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u601d\u3048\u308b\u3067\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n<p>If you are finding it difficult to obey God, then I would like to challenge you to reevaluate your relationship with God.\u3000 \u3082\u3057\u3001\u3042\u306a\u305f\u304c\u795e\u306b\u5f93\u3046\u3053\u3068\u304c\u96e3\u3057\u3044\u3068\u611f\u3058\u3066\u3044\u308b\u306e\u306a\u3089\u3001\u795e\u3068\u306e\u95a2\u4fc2\u3092\u898b\u76f4\u3059\u3053\u3068\u306b\u30c1\u30e3\u30ec\u30f3\u30b8\u3057\u3066\u3044\u305f\u3060\u304d\u305f\u3044\u3068\u601d\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>For Jesus said to His disciples, \u306a\u305c\u306a\u3089\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306f\u5f1f\u5b50\u305f\u3061\u306b\u3053\u3046\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you love Me, you will keep My commandments.\u201d (John 14:15)\u300c\u3082\u3057\u3042\u306a\u305f\u304c\u305f\u304c\u308f\u305f\u3057\u3092\u611b\u3059\u308b\u306a\u3089\u3070\u3001\u308f\u305f\u3057\u306e\u3044\u307e\u3057\u3081\u3092\u5b88\u308b\u3079\u304d\u3067\u3042\u308b\u300d\u3002\uff08\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd\uff11\uff14\u7ae0\uff11\uff15\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n<p>And we know that Jesus obeyed His Heavenly Father because of His love for Him.\u3000 \u3000\u3000\u305d\u3057\u3066\u79c1\u9054\u306f\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u5929\u306e\u7236\u3078\u306e\u611b\u306e\u3086\u3048\u306b\u5f93\u308f\u308c\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3092\u77e5\u3063\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>For \u201cBeing found in appearance as a man,\u00a0He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even\u00a0death\u00a0on a cross.\u201d (Philippians 2:8) \u305d\u306e\u6709\u69d8\u306f\u4eba\u3068\u7570\u306a\u3089\u305a\u3001\u304a\u306e\u308c\u3092\u4f4e\u304f\u3057\u3066\u3001\u6b7b\u306b\u81f3\u308b\u307e\u3067\u3001\u3057\u304b\u3082\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u306e\u6b7b\u306b\u81f3\u308b\u307e\u3067\u5f93\u9806\u3067\u3042\u3089\u308c\u305f\u3002\uff08\u30d4\u30ea\u30d4\uff12\u7ae0\uff17\u7bc0\u3001\uff18\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n<p>In Jesus\u2019 case, His humble obedience to the Heavenly Father led to His sacrificial death.\u3000 \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306e\u5834\u5408\u3001\u5929\u306e\u7236\u3078\u306e\u8b19\u865a\u306a\u5f93\u9806\u304c\u72a0\u7272\u306e\u6b7b\u306b\u3064\u306a\u304c\u3063\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>We must remember that obedience may lead to sacrifice but sacrifice is not always obedience.\u3000 \u79c1\u9054\u306f\u5f93\u9806\u304c\u72a0\u7272\u306b\u3064\u306a\u304c\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3042\u3063\u3066\u3082\u3001\u72a0\u7272\u304c\u5fc5\u305a\u3057\u3082\u5f93\u9806\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3068\u306f\u9650\u3089\u306a\u3044\u3053\u3068\u3092\u899a\u3048\u3066\u304a\u304b\u306a\u3051\u308c\u3070\u306a\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n<p>As I circle back around to what I read at the beginning of this message, that is 1 Peter 5:1-4, \u3053\u306e\u30e1\u30c3\u30bb\u30fc\u30b8\u306e\u5192\u982d\u3067\u8aad\u3093\u3060\u3053\u3068\u3001\u3064\u307e\u308a\u30da\u30c6\u30ed\u7b2c\u4e00\u306e\u624b\u7d19\uff15\u7ae0\uff11\u7bc0\u304b\u3089\uff14\u7bc0\u306b\u623b\u308b\u3068\u3001<\/p>\n<p>we see that Saul did not shepherd the flock, that is God\u2019s inheritance, Israel, according to the will of God.\u3000\u30b5\u30a6\u30ed\u306f\u795e\u306e\u55e3\u696d\u3067\u3042\u308b\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u7fa4\u308c\u3092\u3001\u795e\u306e\u307f\u5fc3\u306b\u5f93\u3063\u3066\u7267\u3055\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u3053\u3068\u304c\u5206\u304b\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Instead, he did the very thing that he was not supposed to do.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u4ee3\u308f\u308a\u306b\u3001\u5f7c\u306f\u3057\u3066\u306f\u306a\u3089\u306a\u3044\u3053\u3068\u3092\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>He lorded himself over those allotted to his charge, and was not a very good example to them.\u3000 \u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306f\u3001\u81ea\u5206\u306b\u5272\u308a\u5f53\u3066\u3089\u308c\u305f\u8005\u305f\u3061\u306b\u5a01\u5f35\u308a\u6563\u3089\u3057\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u306b\u3068\u3063\u3066\u3042\u307e\u308a\u826f\u3044\u6a21\u7bc4\u3068\u306f\u306a\u3089\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>He forgot that he had a Chief Shepherd, the King of kings, that he was to ultimately serve, even as he led and cared for the people of Israel.\u3000 \u5f7c\u306f\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u6c11\u3092\u5c0e\u304d\u4e16\u8a71\u3059\u308b\u6642\u3067\u3055\u3048\u3001\u6700\u7d42\u7684\u306b\u4ed5\u3048\u308b\u3079\u304d\u738b\u306e\u738b\u3067\u3042\u308b\u7f8a\u98fc\u3044\u306e\u9577\u304c\u3044\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u5fd8\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>He forgot that he himself was a sheep that needed to follow and obey the commands of his Good Shepherd.\u3000 \u5f7c\u306f\u81ea\u5206\u81ea\u8eab\u304c\u826f\u3044\u7f8a\u98fc\u3044\u306e\u547d\u4ee4\u306b\u5f93\u308f\u306a\u3051\u308c\u3070\u306a\u3089\u306a\u3044\u7f8a\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u5fd8\u308c\u3066\u3044\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Again, the key to humble obedience is a loving relationship.\u3000 \u7e70\u308a\u8fd4\u3057\u307e\u3059\u304c\u3001\u8b19\u865a\u306a\u5f93\u9806\u306e\u9375\u306f\u3001\u611b\u306b\u6e80\u3061\u305f\u95a2\u4fc2\u306b\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>I find the following quote by Christian apologist Josh McDowell helpful:\u3000 \u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u6559\u306e\u64c1\u8b77\u8ad6\u8005\u30b8\u30e7\u30b7\u30e5\u30fb\u30de\u30af\u30c0\u30a6\u30a7\u30eb\u306e\u6b21\u306e\u8a00\u8449\u304c\u53c2\u8003\u306b\u306a\u308a\u307e\u3059\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRules without relationship leads to rebellion.\u201d\u3000 \u300c\u95a2\u4fc2\u306a\u304d\u898f\u5247\u306f\u53cd\u6297\u306b\u3064\u306a\u304c\u308b\u300d<\/p>\n<p>In other words, without a loving relationship, it is difficult to obey rules.\u3000 \u8a00\u3044\u63db\u3048\u308c\u3070\u3001\u611b\u60c5\u3042\u308b\u95a2\u4fc2\u304c\u306a\u3051\u308c\u3070\u3001\u898f\u5247\u306b\u5f93\u3046\u3053\u3068\u306f\u96e3\u3057\u3044\u3068\u3044\u3046\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>I believe that Saul did not have a very close relationship with God.\u3000 \u79c1\u306f\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30ed\u306f\u795e\u3068\u3042\u307e\u308a\u89aa\u5bc6\u306a\u95a2\u4fc2\u3092\u6301\u3063\u3066\u3044\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u3068\u601d\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>And because of this, he was prone to do things his own way rather than to seek to do things according to God\u2019s way.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u305f\u3081\u3001\u795e\u306e\u9053\u306b\u5f93\u3063\u3066\u7269\u4e8b\u3092\u884c\u304a\u3046\u3068\u3059\u308b\u3088\u308a\u3082\u3001\u81ea\u5206\u306e\u3084\u308a\u65b9\u3067\u7269\u4e8b\u3092\u884c\u304a\u3046\u3068\u3059\u308b\u50be\u5411\u304c\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Do you truly love God?\u00a0 Are you growing more and more in your love for God?\u3000 \u3042\u306a\u305f\u306f\u672c\u5f53\u306b\u795e\u69d8\u3092\u611b\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u304b\uff1f \u795e\u69d8\u3078\u306e\u611b\u3092\u307e\u3059\u307e\u3059\u6df1\u3081\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u304b\uff1f<\/p>\n<p>Do you truly know that you are loved by God?\u00a0 Are you growing more and more in your understanding of God\u2019s love for you?\u3000 \u3042\u306a\u305f\u306f\u795e\u69d8\u306b\u611b\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u672c\u5f53\u306b\u77e5\u3063\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u304b\uff1f \u795e\u69d8\u306e\u611b\u3092\u7406\u89e3\u3057\u3066\u3001\u307e\u3059\u307e\u3059\u6210\u9577\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u304b\uff1f<\/p>\n<p>I believe that the more our relationship with God becomes intimate, the more easily we can humbly and joyfully obey Him.\u3000 \u795e\u69d8\u3068\u306e\u95a2\u4fc2\u304c\u89aa\u5bc6\u306b\u306a\u308c\u3070\u306a\u308b\u307b\u3069\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u306f\u8b19\u865a\u306b\u559c\u3093\u3067\u795e\u306b\u5f93\u3046\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306b\u306a\u308b\u3068\u79c1\u306f\u4fe1\u3058\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>If your love for God is weak right now, then I encourage you to repent, and humbly seek God\u2019s help out of a desperate desire to be drawn closer to Him.\u3000 \u3082\u3057\u4eca\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u3078\u306e\u611b\u304c\u5f31\u3044\u306e\u3067\u3042\u308c\u3070\u3001\u6094\u3044\u6539\u3081\u3066\u3001\u795e\u306b\u8fd1\u3065\u304d\u305f\u3044\u3068\u3044\u3046\u5207\u5b9f\u306a\u9858\u3044\u304b\u3089\u3001\u8b19\u865a\u306b\u795e\u69d8\u306e\u52a9\u3051\u3092\u6c42\u3081\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u304a\u52e7\u3081\u3057\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The true sacrifice that God desires of us is not based on offering up material goods but our very hearts to Him.\u3000\u795e\u69d8\u304c\u79c1\u9054\u306b\u6c42\u3081\u308b\u771f\u306e\u72a0\u7272\u3068\u306f\u3001\u7269\u8cea\u7684\u306a\u3082\u306e\u3092\u6367\u3052\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3067\u306f\u306a\u304f\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u306e\u5fc3\u305d\u306e\u3082\u306e\u3092\u795e\u69d8\u306b\u6367\u3052\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306a\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>What Saul as the first king of Israel did not realize, David the second king of Israel did.\u3000 \u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u521d\u4ee3\u306e\u738b\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u304c\u6c17\u3065\u304b\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3092\u3001\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\uff12\u4ee3\u76ee\u306e\u738b\u30c0\u30d3\u30c7\u306f\u609f\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>And he wrote the following after he disobeyed God and sought God\u2019s forgiveness and a right relationship with Him.\u3000 \u305d\u3057\u3066\u5f7c\u306f\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u306b\u80cc\u304d\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u306e\u8d66\u3057\u3068\u795e\u3068\u306e\u6b63\u3057\u3044\u95a2\u4fc2\u3092\u6c42\u3081\u305f\u5f8c\u3001\u6b21\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u8a18\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Psalm 51:17\uff08\u8a69\u7bc7\uff15\uff11\u7bc7\uff11\uff17\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n<p><strong>The sacrifices of God are a\u00a0broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. Saul had done the same, I am sure that God would have remembered Saul as His anointed king of Israel and reminded Saul of His love for him.\u3000\u3082\u3057\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u304c\u540c\u3058\u3053\u3068\u3092\u3057\u305f\u306a\u3089\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u306f\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u3092\u30a4\u30b9\u30e9\u30a8\u30eb\u306e\u6cb9\u6ce8\u304c\u308c\u305f\u738b\u3068\u3057\u3066\u601d\u3044\u51fa\u3057\u3001\u30b5\u30a6\u30eb\u306b\u795e\u69d8\u306e\u611b\u3092\u601d\u3044\u51fa\u3055\u305b\u305f\u306b\u9055\u3044\u306a\u3044\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Let us not take for granted the love and kindness of God, who desires for us to obey Him at all times.\u3000 we have a Chief Shepherd that is always looking out for us and is ready to rescue us.\u3000
