the changing of the year.\u3000 \u6628\u5e74\u306e\u611f\u8b1d\u796d\u304b\u3089\u5148\u9031\u306e\u65e5\u66dc\u65e5\u3001\u3064\u307e\u308a\u65b0\u5e74\u6700\u521d\u306e\u65e5\u66dc\u65e5\u307e\u3067\u3001\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306f\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u30fb\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u306e\u964d\u81e8\u3068\u5e74\u306e\u5909\u308f\u308a\u76ee\u306b\u7126\u70b9\u3092\u5f53\u3066\u305f\u30e1\u30c3\u30bb\u30fc\u30b8\u3092\u805e\u3044\u3066\u304d\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n Last Sunday, Pastor Okura spoke from Genesis 1:1, reminding us that everything in our life begins with God and revolves around Him.\u3000 So far, beginning with Adam and Eve, we have looked together at over 50 people recorded in the Old Testament, and over 10 people recorded in the New Testament.\u3000 Today, we will look at Thomas, who was one of Jesus\u2019 twelve apostles.\u3000 \u672c\u65e5\u306f\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306e\u5341\u4e8c\u4f7f\u5f92\u306e\u4e00\u4eba\u3067\u3042\u308b\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u898b\u3066\u3044\u304d\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n By definition, an apostle is a person who is sent on a mission.\u3000 \u4f7f\u5f92\u3068\u306f\u5b9a\u7fa9\u4e0a\u3001\u4f7f\u547d\u3092\u5e2f\u3073\u3066\u9063\u308f\u3055\u308c\u305f\u8005\u306e\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Thus, in the case of Jesus\u2019 twelve apostles, they were chosen and sent out by Jesus with authority to preach the good news of God\u2019s kingdom.\u3000 \u3057\u305f\u304c\u3063\u3066\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306e\u5341\u4e8c\u4f7f\u5f92\u306e\u5834\u5408\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u306f\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u9078\u3070\u308c\u3001\u795e\u306e\u56fd\u306e\u798f\u97f3\u3092\u5ba3\u3079\u4f1d\u3048\u308b\u6a29\u5a01\u3092\u3082\u3063\u3066\u9063\u308f\u3055\u308c\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n The good news of God\u2019s kingdom was that through faith in Christ Jesus, the Son of God, one can enter into His kingdom.\u3000 And as can be seen in the following verses, their authority was shown through signs that accompanied their message.\u3000 authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to\u00a0heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. 2\u00a0<\/sup>Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first,\u00a0Simon, who is called Peter, and\u00a0Andrew his brother; and\u00a0James the son of Zebedee, and\u00a0John his brother;\u00a03\u00a0<\/sup>Philip and\u00a0Bartholomew;\u00a0Thomas and\u00a0Matthew the tax collector;\u00a0James the son of Alphaeus, and\u00a0Thaddaeus;\u00a04\u00a0<\/sup>Simon the\u00a0Zealot, and\u00a0Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed Him. Regarding Jesus\u2019 twelve apostles, the late John MacArthur, wrote the following in his book titled Twelve Ordinary Men:\u3000 \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306e\u5341\u4e8c\u4f7f\u5f92\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u3001\u6545\u30b8\u30e7\u30f3\u30fb\u30de\u30c3\u30ab\u30fc\u30b5\u30fc\u306f\u8457\u66f8\u300e\u5341\u4e8c\u4eba\u306e\u5e73\u51e1\u306a\u4eba\u3005\u300f\u3067\u6b21\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u8a18\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\uff1a<\/p>\n \u201cOne of the facts that stands out in the lives of all twelve apostles is how ordinary and unrefined they were when Jesus met them.\u3000 \u300c\u5341\u4e8c\u4f7f\u5f92\u5168\u54e1\u306e\u751f\u6daf\u3067\u969b\u7acb\u3064\u4e8b\u5b9f\u306e\u4e00\u3064\u306f\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u304c\u5f7c\u3089\u306b\u51fa\u4f1a\u3063\u305f\u6642\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u304c\u3069\u308c\u307b\u3069\u5e73\u51e1\u3067\u7d20\u6734\u306a\u5b58\u5728\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u304b\u3068\u3044\u3046\u3053\u3068\u3060\u3002<\/p>\n All twelve, with the exception of Judas Iscariot, were from Galilee.\u3000 \u30a4\u30b9\u30ab\u30ea\u30aa\u30c6\u306e\u30e6\u30c0\u3092\u9664\u304f\u5341\u4e8c\u4eba\u5168\u54e1\u304c\u30ac\u30ea\u30e9\u30e4\u51fa\u8eab\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n That whole region was predominantly rural, consisting of small towns and villages.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u5730\u57df\u5168\u4f53\u306f\u4e3b\u306b\u8fb2\u6751\u5730\u5e2f\u3067\u3001\u5c0f\u3055\u306a\u753a\u3084\u6751\u3067\u69cb\u6210\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n Its people were not elite. They were not known for their education.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u4f4f\u6c11\u306f\u30a8\u30ea\u30fc\u30c8\u5c64\u3067\u306f\u306a\u304f\u3001\u5b66\u8b58\u3067\u77e5\u3089\u308c\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3082\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n They were the commonest of the common.\u3000 \u5f7c\u3089\u306f\u3054\u304f\u666e\u901a\u306e\u5eb6\u6c11\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n They were fishermen and farmers. Such were the disciples as well.\u3000 \u6f01\u5e2b\u3084\u8fb2\u6c11\u304c\u4e3b\u6d41\u3067\u3001\u5f1f\u5b50\u305f\u3061\u3082\u540c\u69d8\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n Christ deliberately passed over those who were aristocratic and influential and chose men mostly from the dregs of society.\u201d (p.149)\u3000 \u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u306f\u610f\u56f3\u7684\u306b\u8cb4\u65cf\u3084\u6709\u529b\u8005\u3092\u907f\u3051\u3001\u793e\u4f1a\u306e\u5e95\u8fba\u304b\u3089\u4e3b\u306b\u4eba\u3005\u3092\u9078\u3093\u3060\u306e\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002\u300d\uff08p.149\uff09<\/p>\n This points out the fact that Jesus did not choose these apostles because of their power or influence in society.\u3000 \u3053\u308c\u306f\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u3053\u308c\u3089\u306e\u4f7f\u5f92\u305f\u3061\u3092\u793e\u4f1a\u306e\u529b\u3084\u5f71\u97ff\u529b\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306b\u9078\u3093\u3060\u306e\u3067\u306f\u306a\u3044\u3068\u3044\u3046\u4e8b\u5b9f\u3092\u793a\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Jesus chose these apostles because He saw in them qualities that only He could see, \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u3053\u308c\u3089\u306e\u4f7f\u5f92\u305f\u3061\u3092\u9078\u3093\u3060\u306e\u306f\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u306e\u4e2d\u306b\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3060\u3051\u304c\u8a8d\u3081\u3089\u308c\u308b\u8cc7\u8cea\u3092\u898b\u51fa\u3057\u3001<\/p>\n which He nurtured in them, so that they could fulfill God\u2019s calling for their lives. \u3000\u305d\u308c\u3092\u80b2\u3093\u3060\u304b\u3089\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u305d\u3046\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3067\u5f7c\u3089\u304c\u795e\u69d8\u304b\u3089\u306e\u53ec\u547d\u3092\u679c\u305f\u305b\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3059\u308b\u305f\u3081\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n In regard to Thomas, what we know about him is that he was a twin.\u3000 \u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306b\u95a2\u3057\u3066\u306f\u3001\u5f7c\u304c\u53cc\u5b50\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u3053\u3068\u304c\u77e5\u3089\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n His twin brother or sister is not mentioned in the Bible, but in the Gospel of John, he is referred to as Thomas Didymus.\u3000 \u305d\u306e\u53cc\u5b50\u306e\u5144\u5f1f\u307e\u305f\u306f\u59c9\u59b9\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u306f\u8056\u66f8\u306b\u8a00\u53ca\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u305b\u3093\u304c\u3001\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd\u306e\u798f\u97f3\u66f8\u3067\u306f\u5f7c\u306f\u300c\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u30fb\u30c7\u30c9\u30e2\u300d\u3068\u547c\u3070\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n The term Didymus means \u201ctwin\u201d in Greek.\u3000 \u300c\u30c7\u30c9\u30e2\u300d\u3068\u3044\u3046\u8a9e\u306f\u30ae\u30ea\u30b7\u30e3\u8a9e\u3067\u300c\u53cc\u5b50\u300d\u3092\u610f\u5473\u3057\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Actually, the name Thomas also means \u201ctwin\u201d, derived from the Aramaic word \u201cTe\u2019oma\u201d.\u3000 \u5b9f\u969b\u3001\u300c\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u300d\u3068\u3044\u3046\u540d\u524d\u3082\u300c\u53cc\u5b50\u300d\u3092\u610f\u5473\u3057\u3001\u30a2\u30e9\u30e0\u8a9e\u306e\u300c\u30c6\u30aa\u30de\u300d\u306b\u7531\u6765\u3057\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n So, whether Thomas was sort of a nickname for this apostle, or it was his actual name, we know that he is called thus by Jesus.\u3000\u3057\u305f\u304c\u3063\u3066\u3001\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u304c\u3053\u306e\u4f7f\u5f92\u306e\u611b\u79f0\u3060\u3063\u305f\u306e\u304b\u3001\u305d\u308c\u3068\u3082\u672c\u540d\u3060\u3063\u305f\u306e\u304b\u306f\u5b9a\u304b\u3067\u306f\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u304c\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u305d\u3046\u547c\u3070\u308c\u3066\u3044\u305f\u3053\u3068\u306f\u78ba\u304b\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Now, let us pick up on what the apostle John wrote about Thomas in the Gospel that he wrote.\u3000 \u3055\u3066\u3001\u4f7f\u5f92\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd\u304c\u81ea\u8eab\u306e\u798f\u97f3\u66f8\u3067\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u8a18\u3057\u305f\u5185\u5bb9\u3092\u898b\u3066\u3044\u304d\u307e\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n We first find him mentioned in John 11:16.\u3000 \u5f7c\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u521d\u3081\u3066\u8a00\u53ca\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u306e\u306f\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd11\u7ae016\u7bc0\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n John 11:16\uff08\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd\u306e\u798f\u97f3\u66f8\uff11\uff11\u7ae0\uff11\uff16\u7bc0\uff09<\/strong><\/p>\n Therefore Thomas, who is called Didymus, said to his fellow disciples, \u201cLet us also go, so that we may die with Him.\u201d \u3059\u308b\u3068\u30c7\u30c9\u30e2\u3068\u547c\u3070\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u304c\u3001\u4ef2\u9593\u306e\u5f1f\u5b50\u305f\u3061\u306b\u8a00\u3063\u305f\u3001\u300c\u308f\u305f\u3057\u305f\u3061\u3082\u884c\u3063\u3066\u3001\u5148\u751f\u3068\u4e00\u7dd2\u306b\u6b7b\u306e\u3046\u3067\u306f\u306a\u3044\u304b\u300d\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n The context for what Thomas said here, has to do with a man named Lazarus in a village called Bethany which was near Jerusalem.\u3000 \u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u304c\u3053\u3053\u3067\u8a9e\u3063\u305f\u6587\u8108\u306f\u3001\u30a8\u30eb\u30b5\u30ec\u30e0\u8fd1\u90ca\u306e\u30d9\u30bf\u30cb\u30a2\u3068\u3044\u3046\u6751\u306b\u4f4f\u3080\u30e9\u30b6\u30ed\u3068\u3044\u3046\u7537\u306b\u95a2\u3059\u308b\u3082\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Jesus was informed that Lazarus was sick by his sisters Mary and Martha, but He purposely waited a few days before responding to go to where they When Jesus informed His disciples that He was going to Bethany, His disciples said to John 11:8\uff08\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd\u306e\u798f\u97f3\u66f8\uff11\uff11\u7ae0\uff18\u7bc0\uff09<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cRabbi, the Jews were just now seeking\u00a0to stone You, and are You going there again?\u201d \u300c\u5148\u751f\u3001\u30e6\u30c0\u30e4\u4eba\u3089\u304c\u3001\u3055\u304d\u307b\u3069\u3082\u3042\u306a\u305f\u3092\u77f3\u3067\u6bba\u305d\u3046\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u306e\u306b\u3001\u307e\u305f\u305d\u3053\u306b\u884c\u304b\u308c\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3059\u304b\u300d\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n This statement was based on the fact that Jesus had just been in Jerusalem \u3053\u306e\u767a\u8a00\u306f\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u307e\u3055\u306b\u30a8\u30eb\u30b5\u30ec\u30e0\u306b\u3044\u305f\u3068\u3044\u3046\u4e8b\u5b9f\u306b\u57fa\u3065\u3044\u3066\u304a\u308a\u3001<\/p>\n where indeed the Jews had sought to stone Him to death for claiming to be one with God the Father (John 10:22-39).\u3000\u305d\u3053\u3067\u306f\u3001\u30e6\u30c0\u30e4\u4eba\u305f\u3061\u304c\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u7236\u306a\u308b\u795e\u3068\u4e00\u3064\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3068\u4e3b\u5f35\u3057\u305f\u305f\u3081\u306b\u3001\u77f3\u6253\u3061\u306e\u5211\u306b\u51e6\u305d\u3046\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3044\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\uff08\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd10:22-39\uff09\u3002<\/p>\n Jesus then told His disciples about the fact that Lazarus was dead, and then said:\u3000\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306f\u305d\u306e\u5f8c\u3001\u5f1f\u5b50\u305f\u3061\u306b\u30e9\u30b6\u30ed\u304c\u6b7b\u3093\u3060\u3068\u3044\u3046\u4e8b\u5b9f\u3092\u4f1d\u3048\u3001\u3053\u3046\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\uff1a<\/p>\n let us go to him.\u201d It was in response to this that Thomas said to his fellow disciples:\u3000 Him.\u201d\u300c\u308f\u305f\u3057\u305f\u3061\u3082\u884c\u3063\u3066\u3001\u5148\u751f\u3068\u4e00\u7dd2\u306b\u6b7b\u306e\u3046\u3067\u306f\u306a\u3044\u304b\u300d\u3002<\/p>\n Thus, we see in Thomas\u2019 response, his boldness and loyalty, not fearing even to die with Jesus His Master.\u3000 \u3053\u3046\u3057\u305f\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306e\u5fdc\u7b54\u306b\u306f\u3001\u4e3b\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u3068\u5171\u306b\u6b7b\u306c\u3053\u3068\u3055\u3048\u6050\u308c\u306a\u3044\u5927\u80c6\u3055\u3068\u5fe0\u8aa0\u5fc3\u304c\u8868\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n At the same time, we see his pessimism.\u3000 \u305d\u3057\u3066\u305d\u308c\u3068\u540c\u6642\u306b\u3001\u5f7c\u306e\u60b2\u89b3\u4e3b\u7fa9\u3082\u898b\u3066\u53d6\u308c\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n For he anticipated the worst possible outcome in going back to a place close to where the Jews that were seeking to kill Jesus were, which was that they would all die with Jesus.\u3000 \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3092\u6bba\u305d\u3046\u3068\u3059\u308b\u30e6\u30c0\u30e4\u4eba\u305f\u3061\u306e\u8fd1\u304f\u306b\u623b\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3001\u6700\u60aa\u306e\u7d50\u679c\u2015\u2015\u3059\u306a\u308f\u3061\u7686\u304c\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3068\u5171\u306b\u6b7b\u306c\u3053\u3068\u2015\u2015\u3092\u5f7c\u306f\u4e88\u671f\u3057\u3066\u3044\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Yet, in spite of this pessimistic outlook, he was bold in exhorting the other disciples in going with Jesus to Bethany.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u3053\u306e\u60b2\u89b3\u7684\u306a\u898b\u901a\u3057\u306b\u3082\u304b\u304b\u308f\u3089\u305a\u3001\u5f7c\u306f\u4ed6\u306e\u5f1f\u5b50\u305f\u3061\u306b\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3068\u5171\u306b\u30d9\u30bf\u30cb\u30a2\u3078\u884c\u304f\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3068\u529b\u5f37\u304f\u52e7\u3081\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n Thomas could see nothing but disaster ahead, and yet had the courage to go with Jesus.\u3000\u3000 \u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306f\u76ee\u306e\u524d\u306b\u707d\u3044\u3057\u304b\u898b\u3048\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3067\u3057\u305f\u304c\u3001\u305d\u308c\u3067\u3082\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3068\u5171\u306b\u9032\u3080\u52c7\u6c17\u3092\u6301\u3063\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n So, Thomas and all the disciples follow Jesus to Bethany, and there Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead (John 11:38-44).\u3000 \u3053\u3046\u3057\u3066\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u3068\u5f1f\u5b50\u305f\u3061\u306f\u7686\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306b\u5f93\u3063\u3066\u30d9\u30bf\u30cb\u30a2\u3078\u5411\u304b\u3044\u3001\u305d\u3053\u3067\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306f\u30e9\u30b6\u30ed\u3092\u6b7b\u304b\u3089\u3088\u307f\u304c\u3048\u3089\u305b\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\uff08\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd11:38-44\uff09\u3002<\/p>\n Thus, not only did they not die with Jesus in going to Bethany, but Lazarus who was dead was brought back to life.\u3000 \u3057\u305f\u304c\u3063\u3066\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u306f\u30d9\u30bf\u30cb\u30a2\u3078\u5411\u304b\u3046\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3068\u5171\u306b\u6b7b\u306c\u3053\u3068\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u3070\u304b\u308a\u304b\u3001\u6b7b\u3093\u3067\u3044\u305f\u30e9\u30b6\u30ed\u304c\u751f\u304d\u8fd4\u3089\u3055\u308c\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n We can only wonder how Thomas took in all of this.\u3000\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u304c\u3053\u308c\u3092\u3069\u3046\u53d7\u3051\u6b62\u3081\u305f\u304b\u306f\u60f3\u50cf\u3059\u308b\u4ed6\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n The next time that Thomas is mentioned is in John 14:1-6, during Jesus\u2019 last supper with His disciples in the Upper Room.\u3000 \u6b21\u306b\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u304c\u8a00\u53ca\u3055\u308c\u308b\u306e\u306f\u3001\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd\u306b\u3088\u308b\u798f\u97f3\u66f814\u7ae01-6\u7bc0\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u5f1f\u5b50\u305f\u3061\u3068\u6700\u5f8c\u306e\u6669\u9910\u3092\u5171\u306b\u3057\u305f\u300c\u4e8c\u968e\u90e8\u5c4b\u300d\u3067\u306e\u51fa\u6765\u4e8b\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n What prompted Jesus\u2019 words of encouragement here were a couple of Peter\u2019s questions to Him regarding His imminent departure that He had just told them about:\u3000\u3053\u3053\u3067\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u52b1\u307e\u3057\u306e\u8a00\u8449\u3092\u8ff0\u3079\u305f\u304d\u3063\u304b\u3051\u306f\u3001\u30da\u30c6\u30ed\u304c\u76f4\u524d\u306b\u544a\u3052\u3089\u308c\u305f\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306e\u5dee\u3057\u8feb\u3063\u305f\u5225\u308c\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u5c0b\u306d\u305f\u4e8c\u3064\u306e\u8cea\u554f\u3067\u3057\u305f\uff1a<\/p>\n \u201cLord, where are You going?\u201d (John 13:36) \u300c\u4e3b\u3088\u3001\u3069\u3053\u3078\u304a\u3044\u3067\u306b\u306a\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3059\u304b\u300d\u3002\uff08\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd\uff11\uff13\u7ae0\uff13\uff16\u7bc0\uff09<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cLord, why can I not follow You right now?\u201d (John 13:37) \u300c\u4e3b\u3088\u3001\u306a\u305c\u3001\u4eca\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u884c\u304f\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u306a\u3044\u306e\u3067\u3059\u304b\u300d\u3002\uff08\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd\uff11\uff13\u7ae0\uff13\uff17\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n In response to these questions, we see Jesus\u2019 response:\u3000 \u3053\u308c\u3089\u306e\u554f\u3044\u306b\u5bfe\u3059\u308b\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306e\u7b54\u3048\u306f\u6b21\u306e\u901a\u308a\u3067\u3059\uff1a<\/p>\n John 14:1-4\uff08\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd\uff11\uff14\u7ae0\uff11\uff5e\uff14\u7bc0\uff09<\/strong><\/p>\n 1 <\/sup>\u201cDo not let your heart be troubled;\u00a0believe in God, believe also in Me.\u00a02\u00a0<\/sup>In My Father\u2019s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for\u00a0I go to prepare a place for you.\u00a03\u00a0<\/sup>If I go and prepare a place for you,\u00a0I will come again and receive you to Myself, that\u00a0where I am,\u00a0there<\/em>\u00a0you may be also.\u00a04\u00a0<\/sup>And you know the way where I am going.\u201d 1<\/sup>\u300c\u3042\u306a\u305f\u304c\u305f\u306f\u3001\u5fc3\u3092\u9a12\u304c\u305b\u306a\u3044\u304c\u3088\u3044\u3002\u795e\u3092\u4fe1\u3058\u3001\u307e\u305f\u308f\u305f\u3057\u3092\u4fe1\u3058\u306a\u3055\u3044\u30022<\/sup>\u308f\u305f\u3057\u306e\u7236\u306e\u5bb6\u306b\u306f\u3001\u3059\u307e\u3044\u304c\u305f\u304f\u3055\u3093\u3042\u308b\u3002\u3082\u3057\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u306a\u3089\u3070\u3001\u308f\u305f\u3057\u306f\u305d\u3046\u8a00\u3063\u3066\u304a\u3044\u305f\u3067\u3042\u308d\u3046\u3002\u3042\u306a\u305f\u304c\u305f\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306b\u3001\u5834\u6240\u3092\u7528\u610f\u3057\u306b\u884c\u304f\u306e\u3060\u304b\u3089\u30023<\/sup>\u305d\u3057\u3066\u3001\u884c\u3063\u3066\u3001\u5834\u6240\u306e\u7528\u610f\u304c\u3067\u304d\u305f\u306a\u3089\u3070\u3001\u307e\u305f\u304d\u3066\u3001\u3042\u306a\u305f\u304c\u305f\u3092\u308f\u305f\u3057\u306e\u3068\u3053\u308d\u306b\u8fce\u3048\u3088\u3046\u3002\u308f\u305f\u3057\u306e\u304a\u308b\u6240\u306b\u3042\u306a\u305f\u304c\u305f\u3082\u304a\u3089\u305b\u308b\u305f\u3081\u3067\u3042\u308b\u30024<\/sup>\u308f\u305f\u3057\u304c\u3069\u3053\u3078\u884c\u304f\u306e\u304b\u3001\u305d\u306e\u9053\u306f\u3042\u306a\u305f\u304c\u305f\u306b\u308f\u304b\u3063\u3066\u3044\u308b\u300d\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n Jesus made it clear to His disciples that He was going to heaven, where the Heavenly Father is, to prepare a place for them.\u3000 \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306f\u5f1f\u5b50\u305f\u3061\u306b\u3001\u5929\u306e\u7236\u304c\u304a\u3089\u308c\u308b\u5929\u306b\u6607\u308a\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306b\u5834\u6240\u3092\u7528\u610f\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u660e\u3089\u304b\u306b\u3055\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n This meant that He was assuring them that although He will be arrested, put on trial, and crucified, that He will rise again from the dead, and ascend back to heaven.\u3000\u3053\u308c\u306f\u3001\u305f\u3068\u3048\u902e\u6355\u3055\u308c\u3001\u88c1\u5224\u306b\u304b\u3051\u3089\u308c\u3001\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u306b\u304b\u3051\u3089\u308c\u3066\u3082\u3001\u6b7b\u304b\u3089\u3088\u307f\u304c\u3048\u308a\u3001\u518d\u3073\u5929\u306b\u6607\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u5f7c\u3089\u306b\u78ba\u8a3c\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u610f\u5473\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n At the same time, Jesus was assuring them that they will be able to follow Him, that is be in heaven with Him, later on.\u3000\u540c\u6642\u306b\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306f\u5f7c\u3089\u306b\u3001\u5f8c\u306b\u306a\u3063\u3066\u81ea\u5206\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u304f\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3001\u3064\u307e\u308a\u81ea\u5206\u3068\u5171\u306b\u5929\u306b\u5c45\u3089\u308c\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u78ba\u8a3c\u3057\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n It is at this point that we see Thomas speak up.\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u6642\u306b\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u304c\u53e3\u3092\u958b\u304d\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n John 14:5\uff08\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd\u306e\u798f\u97f3\u66f8\uff11\uff14\u7ae0\uff15\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n Thomas said to Him, \u201cLord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?\u201d\u00a0\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306f\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u306b\u8a00\u3063\u305f\u3001\u300c\u4e3b\u3088\u3001\u3069\u3053\u3078\u304a\u3044\u3067\u306b\u306a\u308b\u306e\u304b\u3001\u308f\u305f\u3057\u305f\u3061\u306b\u306f\u308f\u304b\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002\u3069\u3046\u3057\u3066\u305d\u306e\u9053\u304c\u308f\u304b\u308b\u3067\u3057\u3087\u3046\u300d\u3002<\/p>\n What we see here is Thomas\u2019 pessimism as well as his deep love for Jesus.\u3000 \u3053\u3053\u3067\u898b\u3089\u308c\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3001\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306e\u60b2\u89b3\u4e3b\u7fa9\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3068\u540c\u6642\u306b\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3078\u306e\u6df1\u3044\u611b\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n We can almost see a desperate plea by Thomas here, asking Jesus to not go away.\u3000 \u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u304c\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306b\u300c\u3069\u3046\u304b\u53bb\u3089\u306a\u3044\u3067\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044\u300d\u3068\u5fc5\u6b7b\u306b\u61c7\u9858\u3059\u308b\u59ff\u304c\u76ee\u306b\u6d6e\u304b\u3076\u3088\u3046\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n In essence, Thomas was saying, \u201cLord, why are you leaving us?! \u8981\u3059\u308b\u306b\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306f\u3053\u3046\u8a34\u3048\u3066\u3044\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002\u300c\u4e3b\u3088\u3001\u306a\u305c\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u3092\u7f6e\u3044\u3066\u884c\u304b\u308c\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3059\u304b\uff1f\uff01<\/p>\n We don\u2019t know where you are going. So, how are we supposed to get there?\u201d\u3000\u3042\u306a\u305f\u304c\u3069\u3053\u3078\u884c\u304b\u308c\u308b\u306e\u304b\u3001\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306b\u306f\u5206\u304b\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002\u3069\u3046\u3084\u3063\u3066\u305d\u3053\u3078\u8fbf\u308a\u7740\u3051\u3070\u3088\u3044\u306e\u3067\u3059\u304b\uff1f\u300d<\/p>\n Thomas\u2019 love for Jesus was so strong that he did not want to be separated from Jesus.\u3000 \u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306e\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3078\u306e\u611b\u306f\u5f37\u304f\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304b\u3089\u96e2\u308c\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u5f7c\u306f\u671b\u3093\u3067\u3044\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n It was in response to this that Jesus said to Thomas:\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u3053\u3068\u306b\u5fdc\u3048\u3066\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306f\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306b\u3053\u3046\u8a00\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\uff1a<\/p>\n John 14:6\uff08\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd\uff11\uff14\u7ae0\uff16\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n \u201cI am\u00a0the way, and\u00a0the truth, and\u00a0the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.\u201d\u300c\u308f\u305f\u3057\u306f\u9053\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u771f\u7406\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u547d\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002\u3060\u308c\u3067\u3082\u308f\u305f\u3057\u306b\u3088\u3089\u306a\u3044\u3067\u306f\u3001\u7236\u306e\u307f\u3082\u3068\u306b\u884c\u304f\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3067\u304d\u306a\u3044\u3002<\/p>\n Jesus made it clear to Thomas that He was the way to heaven, and therefore to the Father.\u3000 \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306f\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306b\u3001\u81ea\u5206\u304c\u5929\u3078\u306e\u9053\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u3057\u305f\u304c\u3063\u3066\u7236\u306a\u308b\u795e\u3078\u306e\u9053\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u660e\u3089\u304b\u306b\u3057\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Jesus was assuring Thomas that he indeed knew where Jesus was going because of the relationship he had with Him.\u3000\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306f\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306b\u3001\u81ea\u5206\u3068\u306e\u95a2\u4fc2\u3086\u3048\u306b\u3001\u81ea\u5206\u304c\u3069\u3053\u3078\u5411\u304b\u3046\u306e\u304b\u3092\u78ba\u304b\u306b\u77e5\u3063\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3068\u4fdd\u8a3c\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n Through his relationship with Jesus, Thomas had the way (direction), truth, and the life, to live until they were to be reunited in the Heavenly Father\u2019s presence.\u3000 \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3068\u306e\u95a2\u4fc2\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u3001\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306f\u5929\u306e\u7236\u306e\u5fa1\u524d\u3067\u518d\u3073\u5171\u306b\u96c6\u3046\u6642\u307e\u3067\u751f\u304d\u308b\u305f\u3081\u306e\u9053\uff08\u65b9\u5411\uff09\u3001\u771f\u7406\u3001\u305d\u3057\u3066\u547d\u3092\u6301\u3063\u3066\u3044\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Thus, Jesus was reassuring Thomas of His promise:\u3000 \u3053\u3046\u3057\u3066\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306f\u3001\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306b\u81ea\u3089\u306e\u7d04\u675f\u3092\u78ba\u4fe1\u3055\u305b\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\uff1a<\/p>\n \u201cIf I go and prepare a place for you,\u00a0I will come again and receive you to Myself, that\u00a0where I am,\u00a0there<\/em>\u00a0you may be also.\u201d\u300c\u305d\u3057\u3066\u3001\u884c\u3063\u3066\u3001\u5834\u6240\u306e\u7528\u610f\u304c\u3067\u304d\u305f\u306a\u3089\u3070\u3001\u307e\u305f\u304d\u3066\u3001\u3042\u306a\u305f\u304c\u305f\u3092\u308f\u305f\u3057\u306e\u3068\u3053\u308d\u306b\u8fce\u3048\u3088\u3046\u3002\u308f\u305f\u3057\u306e\u304a\u308b\u6240\u306b\u3042\u306a\u305f\u304c\u305f\u3082\u304a\u3089\u305b\u308b\u305f\u3081\u3067\u3042\u308b\u300d\u3002<\/p>\n The incredible thing is that this promise is true for all who place their faith in Jesus and thus live with Jesus as their way, truth, and life.\u3000 \u9a5a\u304f\u3079\u304d\u3053\u3068\u306b\u3001\u3053\u306e\u7d04\u675f\u306f\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3092\u4fe1\u3058\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3092\u9053\u3001\u771f\u7406\u3001\u547d\u3068\u3057\u3066\u751f\u304d\u308b\u3059\u3079\u3066\u306e\u4eba\u306b\u771f\u5b9f\u306a\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Only through Jesus, can any of us go to be with the Heavenly Father and dwell with Him in the place that Jesus is preparing for us.\u3000 \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u306e\u307f\u3001\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306f\u5929\u306e\u7236\u306e\u3082\u3068\u306b\u884c\u304d\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306b\u5099\u3048\u3066\u304a\u3089\u308c\u308b\u5834\u6240\u3067\u7236\u3068\u5171\u306b\u4f4f\u3080\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n What a wonderful promise!\u00a0 How comforting this must have been for Thomas.\u3000 \u306a\u3093\u3068\u7d20\u6674\u3089\u3057\u3044\u7d04\u675f\u3067\u3057\u3087\u3046\uff01\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306b\u3068\u3063\u3066\u3001\u3053\u308c\u306f\u3069\u308c\u307b\u3069\u306e\u6170\u3081\u3068\u306a\u3063\u305f\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n Yet, we see one more instance of Thomas in which his pessimism can be seen after Jesus was crucified and was buried.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u306b\u304b\u3051\u3089\u308c\u57cb\u846c\u3055\u308c\u305f\u5f8c\u3001\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306e\u60b2\u89b3\u4e3b\u7fa9\u304c\u8868\u308c\u305f\u3082\u3046\u4e00\u3064\u306e\u5834\u9762\u304c\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n In the early morning of the third day after His death upon a cross, Jesus arose from the dead and came out of the tomb where He was laid.\u3000 \u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u4e0a\u306e\u6b7b\u304b\u3089\u4e09\u65e5\u76ee\u306e\u65e9\u671d\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306f\u6b7b\u304b\u3089\u3088\u307f\u304c\u3048\u308a\u3001\u846c\u3089\u308c\u305f\u5893\u304b\u3089\u51fa\u3066\u3053\u3089\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n However, the only eyewitnesses of the resurrected Lord Jesus at this point were a few women, which included Mary Magdalene (Matthew 28:1-10; It is quite evident that after Jesus\u2019 death, all the disciples were in deep sorrow.\u3000 \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306e\u6b7b\u5f8c\u3001\u5f1f\u5b50\u305f\u3061\u304c\u6df1\u3044\u60b2\u3057\u307f\u306b\u6c88\u3093\u3067\u3044\u305f\u3053\u3068\u306f\u660e\u3089\u304b\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n However, as was their custom as Jesus\u2019 disciples, they stayed together, and must have comforted one another.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u306a\u304c\u3089\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306e\u5f1f\u5b50\u3068\u3057\u3066\u306e\u5f7c\u3089\u306e\u7fd2\u6163\u901a\u308a\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u306f\u5171\u306b\u7559\u307e\u308a\u3001\u4e92\u3044\u306b\u6170\u3081\u5408\u3063\u305f\u306b\u9055\u3044\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n This was true for all of them, except for Thomas.\u3000 \u3053\u308c\u306f\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u3092\u9664\u304f\u5168\u54e1\u306b\u5f53\u3066\u306f\u307e\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n We can only imagine what must have been going through Thomas\u2019 mind at that time.\u3000 \u5f53\u6642\u306e\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306e\u5fc3\u5883\u306f\u60f3\u50cf\u3059\u308b\u3057\u304b\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n He must have thought it was the end of the world, for his beloved Master was no longer with them.\u3000 \u6700\u611b\u306e\u5e2b\u304c\u3082\u306f\u3084\u5171\u306b\u3044\u306a\u3044\u306e\u3060\u304b\u3089\u3001\u5f7c\u306f\u4e16\u754c\u306e\u7d42\u308f\u308a\u3060\u3068\u601d\u3063\u305f\u306b\u9055\u3044\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n Yes, Thomas like all the other apostles heard Jesus\u2019 words of warning and promise that He was going to be mocked, insulted, spat upon, \u78ba\u304b\u306b\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u3082\u4ed6\u306e\u4f7f\u5f92\u305f\u3061\u3068\u540c\u69d8\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u5632\u3089\u308c\u3001\u4fae\u8fb1\u3055\u308c\u3001\u553e\u3092\u304b\u3051\u3089\u308c\u3001<\/p>\n flogged, and killed, and will rise again on the third day (Luke 18:31-33).\u3000\u97ad\u6253\u305f\u308c\u3001\u6bba\u3055\u308c\u308b\u304c\u3001\u4e09\u65e5\u76ee\u306b\u5fa9\u6d3b\u3059\u308b\u3068\u3044\u3046\u8b66\u544a\u3068\u7d04\u675f\u306e\u8a00\u8449\u3092\u805e\u3044\u3066\u3044\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\uff08\u30eb\u30ab18:31-33\uff09\u3002<\/p>\n Perhaps for Thomas, being a pessimist, the so-called negative aspects of what Jesus talked about, that is His suffering and death, overwhelmed him.\u3000 \u304a\u305d\u3089\u304f\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306f\u60b2\u89b3\u4e3b\u7fa9\u8005\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u305f\u3081\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u8a9e\u3063\u305f\u3044\u308f\u3086\u308b\u5426\u5b9a\u7684\u306a\u5074\u9762\u3001\u3059\u306a\u308f\u3061\u305d\u306e\u82e6\u3057\u307f\u3068\u6b7b\u306b\u5727\u5012\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n This may have blocked out the promise of Jesus\u2019 victorious resurrection from the dead.\u3000 \u3053\u308c\u304c\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306e\u6b7b\u304b\u3089\u306e\u52dd\u5229\u306e\u5fa9\u6d3b\u3068\u3044\u3046\u7d04\u675f\u3092\u3055\u3048\u304e\u3063\u3066\u3044\u305f\u306e\u304b\u3082\u3057\u308c\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n At the very least, we have already seen how the thought of being separated from Jesus was of great consternation for Thomas.\u3000 \u5c11\u306a\u304f\u3068\u3082\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304b\u3089\u96e2\u308c\u308b\u3068\u3044\u3046\u8003\u3048\u304c\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306b\u3068\u3063\u3066\u3069\u308c\u307b\u3069\u5927\u304d\u306a\u52d5\u63fa\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u304b\u306f\u3001\u3059\u3067\u306b\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306f\u898b\u3066\u304d\u305f\u3068\u304a\u308a\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Thus, he was probably off somewhere wallowing in his own misery and overwhelmed with grief.\u3000 \u304a\u305d\u3089\u304f\u5f7c\u306f\u3069\u3053\u304b\u3067\u3001\u81ea\u3089\u306e\u60b2\u3057\u307f\u306b\u6d78\u308a\u3001\u6df1\u3044\u5606\u304d\u306b\u62bc\u3057\u3064\u3076\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n Yet, the fact remains, Thomas was not with his fellow apostles when the resurrected Lord Jesus came and appeared to them.\u3000 \u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u4e8b\u5b9f\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3001\u5fa9\u6d3b\u3057\u305f\u4e3b\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u304c\u5f1f\u5b50\u305f\u3061\u306e\u524d\u306b\u73fe\u308c\u305f\u6642\u3001\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306f\u4ed6\u306e\u4f7f\u5f92\u305f\u3061\u3068\u5171\u306b\u3044\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n To make matters worse, the others who had seen Jesus were saying to him, \u201cWe have seen the Lord!\u201d\u3000 \u3055\u3089\u306b\u60aa\u3044\u3053\u3068\u306b\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3092\u898b\u305f\u4ed6\u306e\u8005\u305f\u3061\u306f\u5f7c\u306b\u3053\u3046\u8a00\u3063\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3001\u300c\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306f\u4e3b\u3092\u898b\u305f\uff01\u300d\u3068\u3002<\/p>\n He was in great misery and they were exuberant.\u3000 \u5f7c\u306f\u3072\u3069\u304f\u82e6\u3057\u3093\u3067\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u304c\u3001\u5f7c\u3089\u306f\u6d6e\u304b\u308c\u3066\u3044\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n He must have truly felt left out.\u3000 \u5f7c\u306f\u672c\u5f53\u306b\u53d6\u308a\u6b8b\u3055\u308c\u305f\u3068\u611f\u3058\u305f\u306b\u9055\u3044\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n He might have even thought to himself: Great! and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing.\u201d\u300c\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306e\u6307\u3092\u3053\u3053\u306b\u3064\u3051\u3066\u3001\u308f\u305f\u3057\u306e\u624b\u3092\u898b\u306a\u3055\u3044\u3002\u624b\u3092\u306e\u3070\u3057\u3066\u308f\u305f\u3057\u306e\u308f\u304d\u306b\u3055\u3057\u5165\u308c\u3066\u307f\u306a\u3055\u3044\u3002\u4fe1\u3058\u306a\u3044\u8005\u306b\u306a\u3089\u306a\u3044\u3067\u3001\u4fe1\u3058\u308b\u8005\u306b\u306a\u308a\u306a\u3055\u3044\u300d\u3002<\/p>\n In this statement here to Thomas, we find a good reminder for all of us.\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u3078\u306e\u8a00\u8449\u306f\u3001\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u3059\u3079\u3066\u306b\u3068\u3063\u3066\u826f\u3044\u6212\u3081\u3068\u306a\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n It is the fact that the real issue for Thomas and for all of us is not our circumstances but whether we have faith in Jesus Christ.\u3000 \u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306b\u3068\u3063\u3066\u3082\u3001\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306b\u3068\u3063\u3066\u3082\u3001\u771f\u306e\u554f\u984c\u306f\u7f6e\u304b\u308c\u305f\u72b6\u6cc1\u3067\u306f\u306a\u304f\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u30fb\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u3092\u4fe1\u3058\u308b\u304b\u3069\u3046\u304b\u306b\u3042\u308b\u3068\u3044\u3046\u4e8b\u5b9f\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Put another way, the question for us is:\u00a0 \u8a00\u3044\u63db\u3048\u308c\u3070\u3001\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306b\u554f\u308f\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306f\u3053\u3046\u3044\u3046\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3059\uff1a<\/p>\n Do we really believe that Jesus is who He says He is and trust in what He has said and promised?\u3000\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306f\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u81ea\u3089\u3092\u8a9e\u308b\u304a\u65b9\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3068\u672c\u5f53\u306b\u4fe1\u3058\u3001\u305d\u306e\u8a00\u8449\u3068\u7d04\u675f\u306b\u4fe1\u983c\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3060\u308d\u3046\u304b\uff1f<\/p>\n At Jesus\u2019 loving yet challenging words to him, Thomas answered: \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u611b\u3068\u5171\u306b\u5f7c\u306b\u53b3\u3057\u3044\u8a00\u8449\u3092\u304b\u3051\u3089\u308c\u305f\u6642\u3001\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306f\u3053\u3046\u7b54\u3048\u307e\u3057\u305f\uff1a<\/p>\n \u201cMy Lord and my God!\u201d\u300c\u308f\u304c\u4e3b\u3088\u3001\u308f\u304c\u795e\u3088\u300d\u3002<\/p>\n In this one statement, we see Thomas\u2019 bold pessimism turn to a sure faith in Jesus as being his Lord and God.\u3000 \u3053\u306e\u4e00\u8a00\u306b\u3001\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u304c\u62b1\u3044\u3066\u3044\u305f\u5927\u80c6\u306a\u60b2\u89b3\u4e3b\u7fa9\u304c\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3092\u4e3b\u3067\u3042\u308a\u795e\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3068\u78ba\u4fe1\u3059\u308b\u4fe1\u4ef0\u3078\u3068\u5909\u308f\u308b\u69d8\u5b50\u304c\u8868\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n As his Lord, Thomas was confessing that he would follow Jesus by completely trusting in Him and obeying Him.\u3000 \u4e3b\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3001\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306f\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3092\u5b8c\u5168\u306b\u4fe1\u983c\u3057\u5f93\u3046\u3053\u3068\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u3001\u5f7c\u306b\u5f93\u3046\u3068\u544a\u767d\u3057\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n As his God, Thomas was confessing that he would worship Jesus by completely trusting in His sovereignty over all things as His Creator, Sustainer, Redeemer, as well as Savior.\u3000 \u795e\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3001\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306f\u3001\u5275\u9020\u4e3b\u3001\u652f\u3048\u624b\u3001\u8d16\u3044\u4e3b\u3001\u6551\u3044\u4e3b\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3001\u4e07\u7269\u306e\u4e3b\u6a29\u8005\u3067\u3042\u308b\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3092\u5b8c\u5168\u306b\u4fe1\u983c\u3057\u3001\u793c\u62dd\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u544a\u767d\u3057\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Thus, let those who question the deity of Christ examine Thomas who was a bold pessimist.\u3000\u3086\u3048\u306b\u3001\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u306e\u795e\u6027\u3092\u7591\u3046\u8005\u306f\u3001\u5927\u80c6\u306a\u60b2\u89b3\u4e3b\u7fa9\u8005\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u3092\u9867\u307f\u308b\u304c\u3044\u3044\u3067\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n Let us also take note of what Jesus said to Thomas after his declaration of faith in Him. \u307e\u305f\u3001\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u304c\u4fe1\u4ef0\u3092\u544a\u767d\u3057\u305f\u5f8c\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u5f7c\u306b\u8a9e\u3089\u308c\u305f\u8a00\u8449\u306b\u3082\u6ce8\u76ee\u3057\u307e\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n Jesus said to him,\u00a0\u201cBecause you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed\u00a0are\u00a0they who did not see, and\u00a0yet\u00a0believed.\u201d \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u306f\u5f7c\u306b\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u305f\u3001\u300c\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306f\u308f\u305f\u3057\u3092\u898b\u305f\u306e\u3067\u4fe1\u3058\u305f\u306e\u304b\u3002\u898b\u306a\u3044\u3067\u4fe1\u305a\u308b\u8005\u306f\u3001\u3055\u3044\u308f\u3044\u3067\u3042\u308b\u300d\u3002<\/p>\n This is especially true for us, today, because we are not in that room together with Thomas with Jesus standing right in front of us.\u3000 \u3053\u308c\u306f\u7279\u306b\u4eca\u65e5\u306e\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306b\u5f53\u3066\u306f\u307e\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002\u306a\u305c\u306a\u3089\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306f\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u76ee\u306e\u524d\u306b\u7acb\u3063\u3066\u304a\u3089\u308c\u308b\u305d\u306e\u90e8\u5c4b\u306b\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u3068\u5171\u306b\u3044\u308b\u308f\u3051\u3067\u306f\u306a\u3044\u304b\u3089\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n We are not given the opportunity to \u201csee\u201d and \u201cfeel\u201d Jesus\u2019 resurrected body that still bears the marks of His suffering and death upon a cross.\u3000\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306f\u3001\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u4e0a\u306e\u82e6\u3057\u307f\u3068\u6b7b\u306e\u75d5\u8de1\u3092\u4eca\u3082\u6b8b\u3059\u3001\u5fa9\u6d3b\u3057\u305f\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306e\u5fa1\u4f53\u3092\u300c\u898b\u308b\u300d\u3053\u3068\u3082\u300c\u89e6\u308c\u308b\u300d\u3053\u3068\u3082\u8a31\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3002<\/p>\n Nonetheless, we are called to make the same faith declaration as Thomas made in response to Jesus: \u305d\u308c\u3067\u3082\u306a\u304a\u3001\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306f\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u304c\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306b\u5bfe\u3057\u3066\u884c\u3063\u305f\u306e\u3068\u540c\u3058\u4fe1\u4ef0\u306e\u5ba3\u8a00\u3092\u6c42\u3081\u3089\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3059\uff1a<\/p>\n \u201cMy Lord and my God!\u201d\u300c\u308f\u304c\u4e3b\u3088\u3001\u308f\u304c\u795e\u3088\u300d\u3002<\/p>\n For indeed, Jesus is the Son of God, and Jesus is the Lord over our lives.\u3000 \u78ba\u304b\u306b\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306f\u795e\u306e\u5b50\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306f\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306e\u4eba\u751f\u306e\u4e3b\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n That truly is what Jesus has said, and we are to put our faith in Him, and trust in what He has said and promised.\u3000 \u307e\u3055\u306b\u305d\u308c\u304c\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306e\u8a00\u8449\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306f\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3092\u4fe1\u3058\u3001\u305d\u306e\u8a00\u8449\u3068\u7d04\u675f\u306b\u4fe1\u983c\u3059\u3079\u304d\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Thomas is mentioned in two other passages of Scripture.\u3000 \u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306f\u8056\u66f8\u306e\u4ed6\u306e\u4e8c\u7b87\u6240\u3067\u3082\u8a00\u53ca\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n John 21:1-6\uff08\u30e8\u30cf\u30cd\u306e\u798f\u97f3\u66f8\uff12\uff11\u7ae0\uff11\uff5e\uff16\u7bc0\uff09<\/strong><\/p>\n 1 <\/sup>After these things Jesus\u00a0manifested Himself\u00a0again to the disciples at the\u00a0Sea of Tiberias, and He manifested\u00a0Himself<\/em>\u00a0in this way.\u00a02\u00a0<\/sup>Simon Peter, and\u00a0Thomas called\u00a0Didymus, and\u00a0Nathanael of\u00a0Cana in \u201cWe will also come with you.\u201d They went out and got into the boat; and\u00a0that night they caught nothing. 4\u00a0<\/sup>But when the day was now breaking, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples did not\u00a0know that it was Jesus.\u00a05\u00a0<\/sup>So Jesus said to them,\u00a0\u201cChildren,\u00a0you do not have\u00a0any fish, do you?\u201d\u00a0They answered Him, \u201cNo.\u201d\u00a06\u00a0<\/sup>And He said to them,\u00a0\u201cCast the net on the right-hand side of the boat and you will find\u00a0a catch<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0So they cast, and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great number of fish. What a blessing for us, today, as we will be able to fellowship together after this worship service while enjoying eating soba and udon.\u3000 Prayer is basically seeking God and communing with Him.\u3000 \u7948\u308a\u3068\u306f\u3001\u57fa\u672c\u7684\u306b\u795e\u3092\u6c42\u3081\u3001\u795e\u3068\u4ea4\u308f\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n This, along with fellowship with other believers, is an integral part of our life together in Christ.\u3000 \u3053\u308c\u306f\u3001\u4ed6\u306e\u4fe1\u8005\u305f\u3061\u3068\u306e\u4ea4\u308f\u308a\u3068\u3068\u3082\u306b\u3001\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u306b\u3042\u308b\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306e\u5171\u540c\u751f\u6d3b\u306b\u304a\u3044\u3066\u4e0d\u53ef\u6b20\u306a\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Soon after such times of prayer, Jesus poured out the promised Holy Spirit upon these disciples on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2).\u3000 Afterwards, the apostles, including Thomas, went out to different parts of the world to preach the good news of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.\u3000 Though nothing is recorded in the New Testament about Thomas\u2019 ministry after what is written of him in Acts 1-2, Church tradition says that he went to India and carried on missionary work So, what I want to ask all of you this morning is: Do you believe that God can completely fill up the cup?\u3000 \u305d\u3053\u3067\u4eca\u671d\u3001\u7686\u3055\u3093\u306b\u554f\u3044\u305f\u3044\u306e\u306f\uff1a\u795e\u69d8\u304c\u3053\u306e\u30b3\u30c3\u30d7\u3092\u5b8c\u5168\u306b\u6e80\u305f\u3057\u3066\u304f\u3060\u3055\u308b\u3068\u4fe1\u3058\u307e\u3059\u304b\uff1f<\/p>\n More importantly, since this cup illustration is somewhat of a metaphor for how we look at things in our lives, \u3055\u3089\u306b\u91cd\u8981\u306a\u306e\u306f\u3001\u3053\u306e\u30b3\u30c3\u30d7\u306e\u4f8b\u3048\u304c\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306e\u4eba\u751f\u306e\u7269\u4e8b\u306e\u898b\u65b9\u3092\u8c61\u5fb4\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u70b9\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001<\/p>\n the real question is do you believe that God can provide you with an abundant life.\u3000\u771f\u306e\u554f\u3044\u306f\u3001\u795e\u69d8\u304c\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306b\u8c4a\u304b\u306a\u4eba\u751f\u3092\u4e0e\u3048\u3066\u304f\u3060\u3055\u308b\u3068\u4fe1\u3058\u3089\u308c\u308b\u304b\u3068\u3044\u3046\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Since a definition of an abundant life may differ from person to person, let me provide you with one biblical definition of an abundant life for those who believe in Jesus Christ.\u3000 \u8c4a\u304b\u306a\u4eba\u751f\u306e\u5b9a\u7fa9\u306f\u4eba\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u7570\u306a\u308b\u305f\u3081\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u30fb\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u3092\u4fe1\u3058\u308b\u8005\u306b\u3068\u3063\u3066\u306e\u8056\u66f8\u7684\u306a\u5b9a\u7fa9\u3092\u4e00\u3064\u793a\u3057\u307e\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n Since those who believe in Jesus Christ have the Holy Spirit dwelling within them, which in itself is a true blessing, \u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u30fb\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u3092\u4fe1\u3058\u308b\u8005\u306b\u306f\u8056\u970a\u304c\u5bbf\u3063\u3066\u304a\u308a\u3001\u305d\u308c\u81ea\u4f53\u304c\u771f\u306e\u795d\u798f\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n let us consider the fruit of the Holy Spirit in us as being a truly abundant life.\u3000\u3067\u3059\u304b\u3089\u3001\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306e\u4e2d\u306b\u5b9f\u308b\u8056\u970a\u306e\u679c\u5b9f\u3053\u305d\u304c\u3001\u771f\u306b\u8c4a\u304b\u306a\u4eba\u751f\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3068\u6349\u3048\u307e\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n Galatians 5:22-23\uff08\u30ac\u30e9\u30c6\u30e4\u4eba\u3078\u306e\u624b\u7d19\uff15\u7ae0\uff12\uff12\uff5e\uff12\uff13\u7bc0\uff09<\/p>\n 22\u00a0<\/sup>But\u00a0the fruit of the Spirit is\u00a0love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23\u00a0<\/sup>gentleness,\u00a0self-control; against such things\u00a0there is no law. 22<\/sup>\u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u5fa1\u970a\u306e\u5b9f\u306f\u3001\u611b\u3001\u559c\u3073\u3001\u5e73\u548c\u3001\u5bdb\u5bb9\u3001\u6148\u611b\u3001\u5584\u610f\u3001\u5fe0\u5b9f\u300123<\/sup>\u67d4\u548c\u3001\u81ea\u5236\u3067\u3042\u3063\u3066\u3001\u3053\u308c\u3089\u3092\u5426\u5b9a\u3059\u308b\u5f8b\u6cd5\u306f\u306a\u3044\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n For us, we are promised a life abundant with the fruit of the Spirit, which is to bear witness to Jesus in our life.\u3000 \u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306b\u306f\u3001\u5fa1\u970a\u306e\u5b9f\u306b\u3042\u3075\u308c\u308b\u4eba\u751f\u304c\u7d04\u675f\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002\u305d\u308c\u306f\u3001\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306e\u751f\u6d3b\u306e\u4e2d\u3067\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3092\u8a3c\u3057\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n To live as Jesus did upon this earth, being full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, \u3053\u306e\u5730\u4e0a\u3067\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u305d\u3046\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3001\u611b\u3068\u559c\u3073\u3068\u5e73\u548c\u3068\u5fcd\u8010\u3068\u89aa\u5207\u3068<\/p>\n goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control . . . is there any better life?\u3000\u5584\u610f\u3068\u8aa0\u5b9f\u3055\u3068\u67d4\u548c\u3055\u3068\u81ea\u5236\u5fc3\u306b\u6e80\u3061\u3066\u751f\u304d\u308b\u2026\u3053\u308c\u4ee5\u4e0a\u306e\u4eba\u751f\u304c\u3042\u308b\u3067\u3057\u3087\u3046\u304b\uff1f<\/p>\n Thomas was someone who came to realize that Jesus as God\u2019s Son was able to fill his life abundantly.\u3000 \u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306f\u3001\u795e\u306e\u5b50\u3067\u3042\u308b\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u304c\u81ea\u5206\u306e\u4eba\u751f\u3092\u8c4a\u304b\u306b\u6e80\u305f\u3059\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u308b\u3068\u609f\u3063\u305f\u4eba\u7269\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n As an apostle, Thomas was chosen and sent out by Jesus.\u3000 \u4f7f\u5f92\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3001\u30c8\u30de\u30b9\u306f\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306b\u9078\u3070\u308c\u9063\u308f\u3055\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n As a pessimist, he was bold enough to declare his reservations and ask questions.\u3000 \u60b2\u89b3\u4e3b\u7fa9\u8005\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3001\u5f7c\u306f\u8e8a\u8e87\u306a\u304f\u7591\u5ff5\u3092\u8868\u660e\u3057\u554f\u3044\u3092\u6295\u3052\u304b\u3051\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Thus, he was able to overcome his nagging doubts and fears through Jesus\u2019 patient and clear answers that addressed his pessimistic outlook on things.\u3000 \u3053\u3046\u3057\u3066\u5f7c\u306f\u3001\u7269\u4e8b\u306b\u5bfe\u3059\u308b\u60b2\u89b3\u7684\u306a\u898b\u65b9\u306b\u5411\u304d\u5408\u3063\u305f\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u306e\u5fcd\u8010\u5f37\u304f\u660e\u78ba\u306a\u7b54\u3048\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u3001\u3057\u3064\u3053\u3044\u7591\u5ff5\u3068\u6050\u308c\u3092\u514b\u670d\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n Once his bold pessimism was turned to sure faith in Jesus as his Lord and God, he faithfully proclaimed that\u304b\u3064\u3066\u5f7c\u306e\u5927\u80c6\u306a\u60b2\u89b3\u4e3b\u7fa9\u304c\u3001\u4e3b\u3067\u3042\u308a\u795e\u3067\u3042\u308b\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u3078\u306e\u78ba\u304b\u306a\u4fe1\u4ef0\u3078\u3068\u5909\u308f\u3063\u305f\u6642\u3001\u5f7c\u306f\u5fe0\u5b9f\u306b\u3053\u3046\u5ba3\u8a00\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n Jesus is the way, and the truth, and the life, in bringing us into a right relationship with God the Father.\u3000\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u306f\u9053\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u771f\u7406\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u547d\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002\u305d\u308c\u306f\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u3092\u7236\u306a\u308b\u795e\u3068\u306e\u6b63\u3057\u3044\u95a2\u4fc2\u3078\u3068\u5c0e\u304f\u305f\u3081\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002<\/p>\n Will you learn from Thomas\u2019 example and life, and place your complete faith in Jesus as your Lord and God, and allow the Holy Spirit to fill you with God\u2019s abundant and eternal In closing, let us take to heart the following two verses concerning our faith in Jesus.\u3000\u6700\u5f8c\u306b\u3001\u30a4\u30a8\u30b9\u69d8\u3078\u306e\u4fe1\u4ef0\u306b\u95a2\u3059\u308b\u6b21\u306e\u4e8c\u3064\u306e\u8056\u53e5\u3092\u5fc3\u306b\u523b\u307f\u307e\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3002<\/p>\n Hebrews 11:1\uff08\u3078\u30d6\u30eb\u4eba\u3078\u306e\u624b\u7d19\uff11\uff11\u7ae0\uff11\u7bc0\uff09<\/strong><\/p>\n Now faith is the\u00a0assurance of\u00a0things\u00a0hoped for, the\u00a0conviction of\u00a0things not Each morning when we wake up, may we declare our faith in Jesus, Lord and my God!\u201d, and live in the full assurance that He is indeed the way, and the truth, and the And each Sunday, let us come here together to affirm our faith in Jesus, and encourage one another to continue on in our faith.\u3000 Remember, because Jesus answers us, we are therefore able to answer His calling in our lives.\u3000
