数年前、ロサンゼルスにあるアズサパシフィック大学に学校見学に行ったことがありました。 この大学は小規模のクリスチャン大学で、とてもいい大学のように見受けられました。

校内を見学させていただいていますと、あることに気が付かされました。この大学がモットーとしている言葉をあちこちで見かけたのです。一番、驚いたことはジムに行きましたら、そのモットー「God First」が一番、目立つところに掲げられていたのです。

その時に思いました。この大学に通う学生達が専門的に学ぶことがいかなるものであれ、彼らは全てのことの大前提を毎日、目にして四年間を過ごすのだなと。そして、それは素晴らしいことだなと思わされたのです。

「新しい出発（４）：私達が第一とすべきこと」　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　２０２２年３月１３日

私達はこれまで三つの心の棚について見てきました。過去の棚、現在の棚、そして未来の棚です。それぞれの棚に何があるのかということを心に留めつつ、また日々、その棚を主に喜ばれる棚とすべく、これからも整えていきたいと祈っております。そして、これから三回の日曜日、私達が何を優先していくのかということを聖書から見ていきたいと思います。

「この世界で私はどう生きればいいのか」という問いに向き合うのなら、色々な考えがあるかと思います。 聖書は言います。「神はそのひとり子を賜わったほどに、この世を愛して下さった」(ヨハネ３章１６節)。

愛を計測することはできませんが、究極の愛とは何かと問われれば「その人のために一番、大切にしているものを手放すこと」と言うことができるでしょう。

では私達に一番、大切なものとは何でしょうか。

それは間違いなく命でありましょう。神はその一人子、イエスの命を私達のために手放すほどに私達を愛してくださったのです。それならば命を捨てるほどまでに、誰よりも私達のことを思い、愛してくださっている、その神の言葉に従い生きることが、私達にとって一番、幸いなことなのではないでしょうか。

このことに勝るものを自分の周りに、あれやこれや考えたのですが、やはりどこにも見当たりませんでした。今日もその主の言葉に目を向けていきたいと思います。

コロナの影響下に置かれてちょうど二年となりますこの月に、私達は新しい出発に際して、これから何を優先して生きていくべきか、神の言葉に聞きたいと思います。

ある時、イエス・キリストに「律法の中でどの戒めが重要でしょうか」という質問をしてきたパリサイ人達がいました。彼らの心には魂胆がありました。すなわち、彼らはどうにかして、イエスの答えにつけ入って、そこから何かしらの過ちを指摘することにより、イエスを葬り去ろうとしていたのです。 マタイ２２章３４節－４０節を拝読させていただきます。

３４さて、パリサイ人たちは、イエスがサドカイ人たちを言いこめられたと聞いて、一緒に集まった。３５そして彼らの中のひとりの律法学者が、イエスをためそうとして質問した、３６「先生、律法の中で、どのいましめがいちばん大切なのですか」。３７イエスは言われた、「『心をつくし、精神をつくし、思いをつくして、主なるあなたの神を愛せよ』。３８これがいちばん大切な、第一のいましめである。３９第二もこれと同様である、『自分を愛するようにあなたの隣り人を愛せよ』。４０これらの二つのいましめに、律法全体と預言者とが、かかっている」。

その質問に対してイエス様は旧約聖書、申命記６章４節から５節に記されている言葉をもってお答えになりました。「心を尽くし、精神を尽くし、思いを尽くして、あなたの神である主を愛しなさい」

申命記６章８節、９節にはこの言葉についてこう書かれています。「これをあなたの手につけてしるしとし、あなたの目の間に置いて覚えとし、またあなたの家の入口の柱と、あなたの門とに書きしるさなければならない」

彼らはこれらの言葉を記した箱を額の上に置き、また左手首に結びつけていました。その時から３５００年も経った今もユダヤ人の間でなされています。

また今日、イスラエルに行く観光客はこの言葉が書かれた紙を入れて家の門中につけることができるというものをお土産として買って帰ります。我が家の門中にもこれがつけてあります。

そして、この言葉の後に、第二に大切なこととしてイエス様は言われました。『自分を愛するようにあなたの隣り人を愛せよ』。これらの二つのいましめに、律法全体と預言者とが、かかっている」（３９，４０）

聖書の中には２４８の「こうしなさい」という戒め、３６５の「こうしてはならない」という戒め、計６１３の戒めがあります。ここでイエスはその数多くある戒めの中で、私達の人生における第一と第二に優先すべきことを明確にしているのです。

今日はこの第一優先、すなわち「心を尽くし、精神を尽くし、思いを尽くして、あなたの神である主を愛しなさい」ということをお話します。ここでイエス様が言っています言葉は、何よりもまず神を愛しなさいということです。その神を何にもまして第一としなさいということです。

私達がこの優先順位に生きる時に、それはどのように私達に影響するのでしょうか。それを解く鍵が４０節の「これらの二つのいましめに、律法全体と預言者とがかかっている」という言葉にあります。

律法の中の律法とは何でしょうか。それは十戒でありましょう。この十戒、１０の戒めは出エジプト記２０章に書かれています。これは今日の司法の根幹となっているものです。

しかし米国においては１９８０年、教室の壁に十戒を張るよう求めたケンタッキー州法が破棄されて以来、公の教育現場で十戒を見ることはなくなりました。また全米各地の裁判所や、その前の敷地にある十戒の記された記念碑を取り外されました。

昔を知る方達は、この十戒を身近に見なくなった時から、教育・結婚・家庭・犯罪等の問題が増してきたという指摘を聞いたことがあります。

私達は自動車にエアーバッグをつけたり、家に精密なセキュリティー・システムを入れることに熱心です。しかし、我々はそれらよりもはるかに大切な十戒を自らの手で隅に追いやったのです。

この十戒は神様の私達に対する「愛の言葉」です。人はその愛の言葉を拒絶し、そのことゆえ自らを窮地に追いこんでいます。

私達を何よりも愛しておられる父なる神は、その愛ゆえに私達に十の戒めをくださいました。私達がこの一度限りの人生を幸いに歩んでほしいからです。

十戒は最初の４つは神と私達の関係について述べており、後の６つは人と人との関係を取り扱っています。 前半四つには私たちの神への信仰というものが前提にあります。それに対して後の六つは信仰のあるなしに関わらず、多くの私達が心に止めることです。

すなわち、それは父母を敬わず、人を殺害し、姦淫を犯し、盗みを繰り返し、嘘をつき、隣人の家からむさぼりを続けるということです。良識ある人としてこの戒めを積極的に破るように我が子に勧める親がいるでしょうか。

これらの戒めを破ってこそ、人は本当に幸せになれると思われる方いますか。いいえ、その行く末は混乱であり破滅です。

なぜ、イエス・キリストは神を第一にして、その神を愛せよといわれたのか。なぜ、そのことに「律法全体と預言者とがかかっている」と言われたのか。

なぜならこの第一のこと、すなわち神を愛するということがあってこそ、本当の意味で、これら十戒に生きることができるからです。 一つ一つ、お話しします。

第一戒：あなたはわたしのほかに、なにものをも神としてはならない（出エジプト２０章３節）
第二戒: あなたは自分のために、刻んだ像を造ってはならない（出エジプト２０章４節）

もし私達が神を第一に愛するのなら、私達は自分の回りに幾つもの神々を作り出すことはなく、それらを崇拝することはないでしょう。

今日、私達の崇拝の対象には金や権力があり、それ以外にも神々となりうるものに私達は囲まれています。これらは私達が管理すべきものであって、私達が拝むべきものではありません。私達がこれらにひざまずく時に、これらのものが私達の心をコントロールし、私達は多くの深刻な問題を抱え込むことになります。

第三戒：あなたは、あなたの神、主の名を、みだりに唱えてはならない（出エジプト２０章７節）

もし私達が神を第一に愛するのなら、私達は神の名を軽率に取り上げることはないでしょう。

この国で見られるように神を呪うような言葉が私達の口からでてきます。自分の思い通りに事が運ばない時、雨が降りだしたり、応援している野球チームが負けたりする度に、私達は神を呪っています。神を非難することにより、その状況から目を背けようとする、そこから何か良きものを得ることができるでしょうか。

第四戒：安息日を覚えて、これを聖とせよ（出エジプト２０章８節）

もし、私達が神を第一に愛するのなら、私達は安息日、現代で言いますところの礼拝を捧げることでしょう。

私達が今、ウクライナで見ている光景は神を恐れない世界です。このことは私達を一つ所に導いていきます。それは自分の上に自分を治める者はいないという致命的な誤解です。

聖書は私達は心と体と霊で出来ていると言います。そして、安息日、すなわち今日はこれらのものを養うためにあるのです。この安息日は私達の霊肉の休息の日であり、この休息は神を第一にする時に私達に与えられるものです。

今日の世界を見て下さい。私達はどうして休んだらいいのか分からずにいます。平安というものが分からずにいます。私達は休むとはどういうことなのか、この世が与えるものとは異なる平安があるということを安息日を通して、教えていただかなければならない存在なのです。

第五戒：あなたの父と母を敬え。これは、あなたの神、主が賜わる地で、あなたが長く生きるためである（出エジプト２０章１２節）。

今日、私達の多くは親子の問題に直面しています。親に対する怒りを抱えたまま生きている子は多く、そのことが心にあることにより、人生の色々な場面でそれが顔を出します。

その親は既に召されていても、その影響は続くのです。私達が本当に解放されて生きるために必要不可欠なことは親との和解だと言う人もいます。私達を生み育ててくれた親を敬うことができないということは、その親から生まれた自分を大切にすることがきっと難しくなることでしょう。

親は私達の存在に関わる存在であり、それゆえに聖書はこの戒めを人と人との関係の第一に挙げているのではないでしょうか。もし、私達が神を第一に愛するのなら、私達は父母に対する本当の敬意を保つことができるでしょう。なぜなら親は神様が私達に与えてくださった存在だからです。

第六戒：あなたは殺してはならない（出エジプト２０章１３節）

もし、私達が神を第一に愛するのなら、私達にとって命は偶然の産物ではありません。

聖書は私達一人一人は神に選ばれて生まれてきたといいます。「人を殺してはいけません」という確信は神が人を愛し、人に命を与え、その神が「殺すな」と言っているということを知る時に持つことができる確信なのです。

第七戒：あなたは姦淫してはならない（出エジプト２０章１４節）

もし、私達が神を第一に愛していないなら、私達の性というものは欲望の赴くまま、無法地帯の中に置かれていくことでしょう。

今日、モラルというものに基準はなく、それは風見鶏のように日毎にその向きを変えています。性は本来、素晴らしい祝福として神が人に与えたものであり、それは命の誕生にも関わるものです。

神の存在を知り、神を第一にする時に、先に言いましたように命の尊厳がわかり、それによって私達はこの本来あるべき性の喜びと祝福に止まることができるのです。

第八戒：あなたは盗んではならない（出エジプト２０章１５節）
第九戒：あなたは隣人について偽証してはならない（出エジプト２０章１６節）

もし、私達が神を第一に愛しているのなら、私達は誰も見ていなければ人のものを盗み、嘘偽りを言うことから守られます。盗むチャンス、騙すチャンスはいつも私達の回りにあります。その時にその口と手を止める最終的な砦は神の眼差しを意識すること以外にないのです。

神の愛の眼差しを無視することは私達には難しいことでしょう。

第十戒：あなたは隣人の家をむさぼってはならない。隣人の妻、しもべ、はしため、牛、ろば、またすべて隣人のものをむさぼってはならない」（出エジプト２０章１７節）

もし、私達が神を第一に愛するのなら、隣人の物を、妻や夫すらも奪い去ることは私達にはできなくなります。他国に対する攻撃により隣人のものを破壊し、その土地を武力で奪う。 残念ながら、そこに神を意識した思いはありません。

なぜなら、自分が神のような存在で、自分が満たされるなら、他の人のことなど関係ないからです。恐れる存在がいない時に、私達は人の物を奪います。一体どれだけの人達がこのことによって起きることにより、傷つき倒れているでしょうか、命を失っているでしょうか。

主にある皆さん、私達は神を第一としなければ、この十戒に生きることなどできないのです。

神を愛していくということを人生の第一にするということは、私達にとって脅威なのではなく、私達が幸いな人生を歩むために必要不可欠なことなのです。日々繰り返される日常生活の中で神を第一としていく。そして、そのことによって私達の生活が整えられていくのです。私達の生活が守られるのです。私達の生活に本当の喜びが与えられるのです。

ジョン・ドレッシャーという牧師が「若い夫婦のための１０章」という本を奥さんのベティさんと共に書いています。

その本は「もし私達がもう一度結婚生活をやり直すことができるならば」というテーマによって書かれているもので、その中で彼らはもう一度夫婦をやり直すことができるなら私達は「トライアングルを強固にする」と書いています。

何のことなのか。それは、夫と妻を結び付ける頂点に神を置き、その右左に夫と妻を置くということです。このことを「聖なる三角関係」で結ばれていますと言います。

夫婦として半世紀を共に過ごしてきた夫妻が、その結婚生活を振り返り、もう一度、その生活を初めからやり直すことができたら、我々はその中心にイエスを置きたいと言うのです。 それは二人共々、イエスを第一に愛するということです。

英国のジョージ・マクドナルドという小説家は１００年前に生きた人ですが、　「私がなおいっそう心をこめて神様を愛する時、私は一番ふさわしい方法であなたを愛することができる」と言いました。

そのような基準がない時に、自分がすべきこと、すべきではないことの判断、どこに力を注ぎ、何に時間を使うのかということがわからなくなります。私達は自分の生活を見直し、もう一度、自分の本当の優先順位というものを確認し、必要とあらば修正しようではありませんか。

『心をつくし、精神をつくし、思いをつくして、主なるあなたの神を愛せよ』

ここに生きる時に私達は考えたこともなかった世界を神様から見せていただくことでしょう。その約束は古の昔から、そして今も有効なのです。お祈りしましょう。

New Beginnings (4): What We Should Put First.”　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　March 13, 2022

In the past couple weeks we have looked at three shelves in our heart. These are the shelves of the past, the present, and the future. Keeping in mind what is on each shelf, we pray that we will be able to continue to prepare these shelves to be pleasing to the Lord, day by day.

And for the next three Sundays, we will start to look at what our priorities are from the Bible.If you are facing the question, “How should I live in this world?” you may have many ideas. The Bible says.

^“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son”. (John 3:16).

We cannot measure love, but if we were to ask what ultimate love is, we could say that it is giving up the things we value most for the sake of others.

Then, what is the most important thing for us? Without a doubt, it is our life.

God loved us enough to give up the life of his only son Jesus, for us. If this is true, the most blessed thing we can do is to live according to the word of God, who loves us and cares for us more than anyone else, even laying down the life of his son for us.

When I tried to think about how we are to live, I couldn’t find anything better than this. So today I would like to turn to the word of the Lord again. In this month, exactly two years since we came under the Corona pandemic, we are facing a new start. Together, we will be listening to God’s word on what we should prioritize in our lives from this point on.

On one occasion, some Pharisees asked Jesus Christ, “Which commandment in the Law is the most important?” They had a plot in their hearts.They were trying to trap Jesus by somehow taking advantage of his response and finding an error in his answer. Let me read to you Matthew 22:34-40.

³⁴ Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. ³⁵ One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: ³⁶ “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”³⁷ Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. ³⁸ This is the first and greatest commandment. ³⁹ And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. ⁴⁰ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Jesus answered this question with the words from the Old Testament, in Deuteronomy 6:4-5:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength”.

Deuteronomy 6:8-9 says this about this command.

⁸ Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. ⁹ Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

They literally placed a box with these words on their foreheads and also tied it to their left wrist.Three thousand and five hundred years have passed since that time, and it is still done among the Jewish people.

Today, visitors to Israel buy as a souvenir a box with these words, which can be placed inside the gates of their homes.We have one of these on the gate of our house.And after these words, Jesus said the second most important command.

Love your neighbor as yourself. ⁴⁰ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments (39, 40).

There are 248 “do” commandments and 365 “do not” commandments in the Bible, for a total of 613 commandments.Here, Jesus clarifies the first and second priorities in our lives among the many commandments.

Today I will talk about the first priority, which is to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength”.The words Jesus is saying here is to love God first and foremost. To put God first above all else. What effect does living by these priorities have on us?

The key to unlocking this is found in the words of verse 40: “All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (39, 40),

What is the law within the law? It is the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments, are found in Exodus 20. This is the basis of our judicial system today.

In the United States, however, the Ten Commandments have not been seen in public educational settings since 1980, when a Kentucky law requiring the Ten Commandments to be posted on classroom walls was repealed.

In addition, monuments bearing the Ten Commandments have been removed from courthouses across the U.S. and from the grounds in front of them.I have heard people who remember seeing the Ten Commandments in the past point out that when they stopped seeing them around, problems with education, marriage, family, crime, etc. increased.

We are eager to put air bags in our cars and precision security systems in our homes.

But we have taken it upon ourselves to put the Ten Commandments, which are far more important than those, in the corner. These Ten Commandments are God’s “words of love” to us.

People have rejected that word of love, and thus put themselves in a difficult position. God the Father, who loves us more than anything else, has given us the Ten Commandments because of His love for us.

He desires for us to be blessed in our one life on this earth.

The first four of the Ten Commandments deal with our relationship with God, and the latter six deal with our relationship with others. The first four are predicated on our faith in God.

In contrast, the latter six are things that many of us, with or without faith, take to heart. That is, to honor one’s parents, to not murder, to not commit adultery, to not steal, to not tell lies, and to not covet.

What parent in good conscience would encourage their child to actively break these commandments? Does anyone believe that by breaking these commandments, they can truly be happy? No, because we know the end result is confusion and ruin.

Why did Jesus Christ say to put God first and love Him? Why did He say “All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments”?

Because it is only through this first thing, that is, loving God, that we can truly live out these Ten Commandments. I will tell you about them one by one.

The First Commandment: You shall have no other gods before me (Exodus 20:3).
The Second Commandment: You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything (Exodus 20:4).

If we do love God first, we will not create gods out of something else to worship.

Today, that worship includes things like money and power, and we are surrounded by other things that could become our gods. These are things that should be controlled by us, not worshipped by us.

When we kneel down to these things, they control our minds and hearts, and we end up with many serious problems.

The Third Commandment: You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name (Exodus 20:7) .

If we love God first, we will not take His name lightly.

As we see in this country, words will come out of our mouths that curse God. Whenever things don’t go our way, whenever it starts raining, or the baseball team we are rooting for loses, we curse God.

Can anything good come from it, trying to turn away from the situation by blaming God?

The Fourth Commandment: Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy (Exodus 20:8).

If we love God first, we will offer the Sabbath, or come to offer worship. The scene we see in Ukraine today is a world without the fear of God. This leads us to one place, which is a deadly misconception-that there is no one to rule over us.

The Bible says we are made up of mind, body, and spirit. And the Sabbath, today, is for nourishing these things. This Sabbath is a day of rest for our spirit and body, and this rest is given to us when we place our trust in God first.

Look at the world today. We do not know how to rest. We are not sure what peace is. We need to be taught through the Sabbath how to rest, and know that there is a peace different from what the world gives.

The Fifth Commandment: Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you (Exodus 20:12).

Today, many of us face parent-child problems. In children who carry anger towards their parents, it shows in many aspects of their lives. Even though the parent has already passed away, its effects continue.

Some say that reconciliation with our parents is absolutely essential for us to truly live liberated. If we cannot honor the parents who gave birth and raised us, it will surely be difficult for us to value ourselves who were born of those parents.

It is truly a matter of our own existence, which is why the Bible lists this commandment, “Honor your parents,” as the first of commands concerning human relationships. If we love God first, we will maintain respect for our parents. This is because parents are given to us by God.

The sixth Commandment: You shall not murder (Exodus 20:13).

If we love God first, life for us is not an accident. The Bible says that each of us were chosen by God to be born into this world.

The firm conviction in the command “do not murder” is a certainty we can have when we know that God loves people, that He gave His life for them, and that He commands, “do not murder.”

The Seventh Commandment: You shall not commit adultery (Exodus 20:14).

If we do not love God first, our sexuality will be left in a lawless zone of lust. Today, there is no standard of morality, and like a weathervane, it changes its direction daily. Sexuality was originally given to man by God as a wonderful blessing, and it even involves the birth of life.

When we know God’s presence and put Him first, we understand the dignity of life, and thus we can remain in the inherent joy and blessing of sexuality.

The Eighth Commandment: You shall not steal (Exodus 20:15).
The Ninth Commandment: You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor (Exodus 20:16).

If we love God first, we could avoid  a tendency to steal from others and tell lies if no one is watching. Opportunities to steal and cheat are always around us. The final fortress to stop our mouths and hands is to the awareness of God’s gaze.

It would be difficult for us to ignore God’s loving eyes on us.

The Tenth Commandment: You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

If we love God first, we could not take away our neighbor’s things, even wife or husband. Attacks against other countries destroy what belongs to their neighbors and take their land by force. Unfortunately, there is no acknowledgement of God there.

That is because we become like a god ourselves, and if we are fulfilled, it does not matter what happens to others. When there is no one to fear, we take things from others.

How many people have been hurt, or lost their lives because of this?

Dear brothers and sisters, we cannot live these Ten Commandments if we do not put God first.

Making loving God first in our lives is not a threat to us but is essential for us to live a blessed life. As we put God first in our daily lives, our lives become prepared. Through this our lives will be protected and given true joy.

A pastor named John Drescher wrote a book with his wife, Betty, called “Ten Chapters for Young Married Couples”. In the book, he and his wife, Betty, write about how they would “strengthen the triangle” if they could start their marriage all over again.

What is this about? It means placing God at the apex of the union between husband and wife. This is called being united in a “holy triangle”.

He and his wife, who have spent half a century together as husband and wife, look back on their marriage and say that if they could start that life over again from the beginning, would want to put Jesus at the center of it.

That means that they would both love Jesus first and foremost. The English novelist George MacDonald, who lived 100 years ago, said, “When I love God with all my heart, I can love you in the most appropriate way.”

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to visit Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles for a school tour. This is a small Christian university and appeared to be a nice college.

As I was touring the campus, I noticed something. As I toured the campus, I saw the motto of the university everywhere. The most surprising thing was that when I went to the gym, the motto “God First” was displayed in the most prominent place.It occurred to me at the time.

I realized that no matter what the academic discipline in which the students who attend this university specialize, they will spend four years of their lives seeing the basic premise of everything they do, every day. And I thought to myself, that is a wonderful thing.

What is the state of the shelves in our heart right now? I believe that our lives become complicated at times because there is no certain priority there.

When there are no such standards, it becomes difficult to determine what we should and should not do, where to focus our efforts, and what to spend our time on. So let us reevaluate our own lives, check our true priorities once again, and modify them if necessary.

“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. ³⁸ This is the first and greatest commandment. “

When we live this out, God will show us a world we never thought possible. That promise has been true since ancient times and is still true today. Let’s pray.

１）この世界で私達のことを本当に考え、その幸いを願っていてくれる人は誰でしょうか。そのことは何によって分かりますか。神様が私達を想う気持ちはどれほどのものでしょうか。ヨハネ３章１６節を読みましょう。

 

２）マタイ２２章３４節－４０節を読みましょう。イエス様が語られた言葉は旧約聖書の申命記６章４節から５節の引用でした。パリサイ人の問いかけに対して、ご自身のオリジナルの言葉で語らずに、聖書を引用されたということから分かることは何ですか。

 

３）『心を尽くし、精神を尽くし、思いを尽くして、あなたの神である主を愛しなさい』と『自分を愛するようにあなたの隣り人を愛せよ』ということに旧約聖書に記されている『律法全体と預言者とがかかっている』（３９，４０）ということはどういうことでしょうか。

 

４）以下は出エジプト記２０章に書かれている十戒です。この戒めは神様から私達に対するラブレターであるということは何を意味していますか。これらの戒めがないがしろにされていくと何が起こりますか。

１：唯一の神以外を拝んではならない。 ２：偶像を作ってはならない。 　３：神の名をいたずらに唱えてはならない。 ４：安息日を守る。 ５：父母を敬う。 ６：殺人をしてはいけない。 ７：姦淫をしてはいけない。 ８：盗んではいけない。 ９：偽証してはいけない。 １０：隣人の家をむさぼってはいけない。

 

６）「神を第一に愛していくこと」は、十戒に向き合う私達にどのように影響をしますか。

 

７）あなたは自分の生活に優先事項がありますか。確実で信頼できる優先事項を持つことはなぜ大切ですか。優先事項がないと私達の生活はどうなりますか。

 

８）私達がまず神を愛することを第一として生きる時、私達の生活はどのように変わりますか。
