『わたしと共に主をあがめよ、われらは共にみ名をほめたたえよう』（詩篇３４篇３節）。
毎週日曜日、ここには色々な人がやってきます。中には一週間、嬉しいことがあって、心が神への感謝で満たされて、ここに来ましたという方々がいるでしょう。一週間、これでもかと色々なチャレンジを受け、心身共に疲れ、どうやらこうやら、今日はここに来たのですという方達もいるでしょう。 今日は牧師の顔を見たくないなという日曜日もあるかもしれない。もしかしたら、人と話すのもいやだという方もいるでしょう。
しかし、そんな時だからこそ、主を賛美するために礼拝に来てください。私達は毎週、ここで主を賛美しています。私達の礼拝から賛美が失われることはありません（大倉）。

「主をほめたたえよ！」
聖書にはダビデという王の人生が描かれています。波乱万丈の人生を送ったダビデはある時、アビメレクという王に捕らわれ、自らの命を守るために狂ったさまを装いました。
皆さん、命を守るために狂ったフリをしたことがありますか。それは絶体絶命の状況です。そんな時、皆さんはどうしますか。ダビデの歌が詩篇３４篇に記録されています。そこにはまず、こう書かれています。

そして、彼は開口一番、こう歌います。
詩篇３４篇１節—２節1
わたしは常に主をほめまつる。そのさんびはわたしの口に絶えない。2 わが魂は主によって誇る。苦しむ者はこれを聞いて喜ぶであろう。
彼は命を守るために追われて出て行った時、主を賛美したのです。そして、その主への賛美が彼を励まし、彼に力を与えたのでしょう。その時、彼と共に家来もいたのでしょうか。彼は彼らに向かって歌います。

詩篇１４６篇１節—２節
1 主をほめたたえよ。わが魂よ、主をほめたたえよ。2 わたしは生けるかぎりは主をほめたたえ、ながらえる間は、わが神をほめうたおう。
心が沈む時、私たちの魂に「主をほめたたえよ」と語りかけましょう。NCM２は今日、そんな主への賛美を届けてくれました。
聖なる御座があることを、私たちに気がつかせてくれました。そして、その御座に座るお方が、私達を立ち上がらせてくださることを確認しました。私たちが涙をする、その所から泉が沸き、そこは笑い声で満ちると歌いました。バッハが全ての曲を書き終えた時、その最後にどんなサインを記したかご存知ですか。
Soli Deo Gloria! 神だけに栄光があるように！主にある皆さん、賛美を通して、その魂を主に向けようではありませんか。
The Bible describes the life of a king named David. David had a tumultuous life, but one day he was captured by a king named Abimelech, and he feigned madness to save his life.
Have you ever acted as if you were crazy to save your life? It is a desperate situation. What do you do in such a situation? David’s song is recorded in Psalm 34. There it is first written:
A Psalm of David when he feigned madness before Abimelech, who drove him away and he departed (NASB 1995).
Then he opens with a song that goes like this.
Psalm 34:1-2
1 I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.2 2 I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
He praised the Lord when he was driven away and was departing to save his life. And that praise to the Lord must have encouraged him and given him strength. Were his soldiers with him at that time? He sings to them.
Psalm 34:3
Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.
Every Sunday, people from all walks of life come here. Still, I have never met anyone who came here to hide because their life was in danger.
But some of you may have come to this place because you have had a week of joy and your hearts are filled with gratitude to God. Some of you may have been challenged by so many things during the week that you are tired in mind and body, and somehow you came here today.
There may be Sundays when you don’t want to see the pastor’s face. Maybe you don’t even want to talk to people. However, because it is precisely a time like that, please come to the worship service to praise the Lord. We praise the Lord here every week. Praise is never lost in our worship. David also sings in Psalm 146.
Psalm 146:1-2
Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, my soul. 2 I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
When our hearts are down, let us say to our souls, “Praise the Lord!” NCM2 brought such praise to the Lord today.
They have reminded us that there is a Holy Throne. And we have been assured that the One who sits on that throne will raise us up. They sang that from the place where we weep, a stream will come forth, and it will be filled with laughter. Do you know what Bach signed at the end of every song piece he wrote? Soli Deo Gloria. That is: To God alone be the glory! People in the Lord, let us turn our souls to the Lord through praise.
