５０を超えますと若い時には考えたことがない思いが自分の内にあることに気がつかされます。その一番、大きなことは「自分の最後」というものを意識するようになったということです。そして、そのことにより私は「死から逆算して今を考える」ようになりました。
若い時は「俺の人生も残り６０年か」なんてことは考えません。考える必要はないからです。そして、それでいいのだと思います。２０歳の青年が死から逆算して日々を暮らしているというのは決して健全ではありませんから。
朝、ディズニーランドに入園し、一日、思いきり楽しもうという時に閉園の悲しみを考える必要はありません。しかし、閉園が一時間後に迫る時、私達は残りの時間を何に使おうかと考えるのです。
日本語に「終わりよければ全てよし」という言葉があります。この言葉はこれから終わりに向かう者に可能性を与えてくれる言葉です・・・。

新しい出発（３）：「未来の棚」に既に置かれているもの

これまで私達は「新しい出発」シリーズを通して、私達の「過去の棚卸し」について、イエス・キリストの十字架がそのことを可能にしてくださるということをお話ししました。
そして、先週、私達は「神に喜んでいただけるように生きようではないか」、それを日々、私達の心の棚に蓄えていきましょうとお話ししました。今日はこれらのことを踏まえて、私達の将来に確約されていることについてお話をします。
私は今年５３歳となりました。ついこの間まで２０歳だと思っていたのですが、月日が経つのは早いものです。「４０歳になるとこうなる」とか「５０を超えたらこれを覚悟しておけ」という類の話が巷に溢れています。
確かに５０を超えますと若い時には考えたことがない思いが自分の内にあることに気がつかされます。その一番、大きなことは「自分の最後」というものを意識するようになったということです。

この言葉はこれから終わりに向かう者に可能性を与えてくれる言葉です。今までは散々な人生を送って来た。しかし、終わりがよければそれらの散々の日々も含めて、私の人生は全てよかったのだと受け止めることができる。
これは私達にとって大きな希望と励ましとなり、この言葉によって救われるような気がします。しかし、問題はどうしたらその終わりを良きものとすることができるのかということです。パウロは第二コリント書の中でいいました。
「だから私達は落胆しない。たとい私達の外なる人は滅びても、内なる人は日毎に新しくされていく。なぜなら、このしばらくの軽い艱難は働いて、永遠の重い栄光を、あふれるばかりに私達に得させるからである。私達は見えるものにではなく、見えないものに目を注ぐ。見えるものは一時的であり、見えないものは永遠に続くのである」（Ⅱコリント４章１６節‐１８節）。
この御言葉にありますように私達の肉体は衰え、やがてその機能が止まります。このことは何をもっても回避することができません。そして、このことだけを考えますと、私達は誰しも漠然とした恐れと不安にさいなまされます。
ある人が「我々の日々の虚楽や快楽は人の宿命である死から束の間、目をそらすためにある」と言いましたが、あながちそれは間違っていないと思います。
しかし、パウロはその私達の肉体の変化と死について、それを「軽い患難」と呼び、それは「しばらく働いて、永遠の重い栄光を溢れるばかりに私達に得させる」と言いました。この「はたらく」という言葉を英語聖書は「achieving」と書いています。
この言葉の意味は「目的を成し遂げる」ということです。すなわち、こういうことです。「私達の肉体が衰え、やがて死ぬということは、ある目的を成し遂げるためのことなのだ」ということです。
聖書は私達の機嫌をうかがうような気休めの言葉を語りません。現実を語ります。そうだ、私達の体は衰え、やがて私達は死ぬ。しかし、主にある皆さん、考えたことがありますか。
そのことはある目的を達成するためのことであり、神の御心にかなっていることなのだと。結論から言いますと、このコリント書の言葉は私達に語りかけるのです「終わりはいいものなのだ」と。
つまり、パウロはその時のことについてこう書いているのです。その時とは「溢れんばかりの永遠の重い栄光を私達が得る時なのだ」と。この言葉を文字通りに受け止めて生きる者達は今日という日を、良い終わりに近づいている一日として生きることができるのです。
皆さんの人生には最高の思い出と呼ばれるイベントがあったことでしょう。しかし、実際のところ、それらと比べ物にならないハイライトは一番、最後にあるのだと聖書は言うのです。
多くの人はその最後について思います「最悪の時だ、考えたくもない」と！しかし、一転、その最後が今までに体験したことのないほどに最高のものだということになる、このことを知る時に私達の人生は変わります。
いいえ、変わらなければおかしいのです！
確かに人生には不可解なことがある。およそ考えられない理不尽なこと起こる。敢えて言わせていただきますと、それらはさもありなんことなのです。
なぜ？二週間前にお話ししたように、私達人間はその罪により、私達のみならず、この自然界全てが贖いを求めて悶え苦しんで今を生きているのです。ですからその嘆きと苦しみゆえに、この世にはおよそ信じ難きことがいついかなる時にも、起こり得るのです。しかし、神の側から見る時に、その軽い患難はしばらく働いて、永遠の重い栄光を溢れるばかりに私達に注がれることを達成するためのものなのです。
主にある皆さん、私達の心の「将来の棚」にはこの神の不動の約束が既に置かれていることをご存知ですか。私達にはこの神の約束手形が与えられているのです。それゆえにコリント書は続けて書いているではありませんか。
『私達は見えるものにではなく、見えないものに目を注ぐ。見えるものは一時的であり、見えないものは永遠に続くのである』（Ⅱコリント４章１６節‐１８節）。
今の世界を何に喩えましょう。「見えるもの」が満ち溢れている世界です。今まで見る機会がなかったものまで、インターネットにより見ることができるようになりました。
私は最近思います。「見えすぎること」「知りすぎること」は私を幸いへとは導かないと。このことにより若者達は疲れ果て、大人達は自らの心身を静かに休むことができずに生きています。
隣人が所有しているものを見ます。知人が考えていることを知ります。そのことにより、心の中に色々な感情が生まれます。私達の心はざわついてくるのです。その見えるものにより、私達は翻弄されるのです。
この流れは止まることなく、私達自身が確固たる思いと共にそれを止めなければ、濁流のようにますます私達の心は流されていくでしょう。そして、その流れ着く先を私達は知らないのです。
私達は今、２０００年前に書かれた言葉の前に立っています。私達は見えるものではなく、見えない者に目をそそぐ。そうすることの価値はあるのか。価値はあると聖書はいう。
なぜなら、見えるものは必ず滅ぶ、失われるという宿命から逃れることなく、それに対して見えないものは永遠に続くからだと聖書は言う。パウロはその見えないものについて語ります。
「だから私達は落胆しない。たとい私達の外なる人は滅びても、内なる人は日毎に新しくされていく。」（Ⅱコリント４章１６節）。
それは内なる人です。この世界に「内なる人」と呼ばれる人種はいません。なぜなら、それは私達の心に起こる変化だからです。
歳をとるということは経験を積むことであり、一般的にはその経験によって私達は賢くなっていくものです。しかし、それと同時に私達は歳をとることにより、だんだんと希望というものを失います。
四季（フォーシーズン）が明らかにしているように、春はこれからツボミから花が咲く時であり、夏はその葉は勢いを増して開き、成長していきます。そこには新しく何かが始まろうとしている希望があります。
しかし、秋になると葉が落ち、冬を迎えるのなら命の躍動が止まってしまったとしか思えない光景が私達の前に広がります。パウロはそのことを「落胆」という言葉で表しました。確かにそうです。
その季節を私達の肉体として思いを寄せるならば、この季節は私達の肉体にも当てはまるように思われます。そして、そのことはほぼ確実に私達の心に影響を与えます。ここで普通なら私達は落胆します。
しかし、パウロは言いました。私達は落胆しない。なぜ？なぜなら、たとい私達の外なる人は衰えていっても、私達の内なる人は新しくされていくから。
ここには一年に一度、新しくなるのではなくて、日毎に新しくされていくから私達は落胆しないと書かれているのです。こんなことあり得るのでしょうか。外が衰えたら、内も衰えてしまうということなら分る。しかし、外は確かに肉体は衰えるけれど、私達の内なる人は新しくされる。
アーサー・ホーランドという伝道者がいます。彼は海兵隊の父と日本人の母のもとで生まれ、大阪で育ちました。父に勧められて始めた柔道からレスリングに転向し、やがてレスリングで全米チャンピオンになるまでの実力を持つようになります。
その彼の肉体が最も躍動していた２３歳の時、彼はサンデイェゴのミッションビーチで洗礼を受けました。全米でも注目されるような肉体と力を持ち合わせていたアーサーはどうして、その絶頂の時に信仰を持ったのでしょうか。
若者達が集まる教会の熱気から影響を受けたのでしょうか。そうではありません。彼は常に勝つか負けるかという中で戦っていた格闘家ですから、その鋭い眼光によって、自分の前に立つ人間の心を瞬時に読み取る訓練がされています。それは、こいつはびびっているのか、自信に溢れているのかが瞬時に分かるということです。
その彼が、お年寄りばかりが集まっている教会に行き、そこでお年寄り達の顔から出てくる輝きに嘘偽りはないということを知ったというのです。ここに本物があると分かったというのです。
アーサーは全米トップのレスラーに相応しい肉体を持っていました。しかし彼はその肉体の力を失った方々の姿にただならぬものを見たのです。そして、それが彼の人生を変えたのです。
彼は何を見たのか、その方達の内なる人が日毎に新しくされている、そこにある神の関与を否定することができず、それに驚嘆したのです。彼はコリント書の言葉をお年寄り達の内に認めたのです。
「わたしたちは皆、顔おおいなしに、主の栄光を鏡に映すように見つつ、栄光から栄光へと、主と同じ姿に変えられていく。これは霊なる主の働きによるのである」（コリント第二３章１８節）
実は、アーサーと同じような体験を私もしました。私は２３歳の冬、インド、カルカッタを一人で彷徨っていました。なぜ私はインドにいたのか。一人の女性に会うためにカルカッタのスラム街にやってきたのです。
その女性、マザーテレサはその日、朝夕に持たれるミサの最中、冷たい石が敷かれた殺風景な部屋で、年若いサリーを身につけたシスター達を見守るかのように、その最後尾に座っていました。
彼女の体はとても小さく、座っているというよりも、そこにうずくまっているように見えました。日本からやってきたバックパッカーの私は、２メートル先にいる彼女に声をかけることもできずに、ただそのしわくちゃの横顔を眺めていました。
数年前、このマザーが生前書いたという手紙が公表されたということで、色々なメディアがこれを取り上げていました。その手紙には彼女が「自分の不信仰に悩んだ」ということ、また「自分が偽善者ではないか」と考えたと書かれていました。
私達の手元にある１７００ぺージにもなるバイブルの中から「人間の不信仰に関する記事」を削除したら、その厚さは半分ほどになってしまうのではないかと思います。
そして、さらに人の不信仰の記事が削除されたら「神の無条件の愛と恵み」もバイブルから同時に削除されてしまうのではないかと思います。そして、その時にバイブルはもはやバイブルではなくなり、私には、皆さんにお話するメッセージは何もなくなります。
私のその時の旅の理由はマザー・テレサに会うことだったのです。そのために夜昼、アルバイトをしてインドまでやってきたのです。話かけることができる所に彼女は座っていたのです。でも、私は彼女に一言も声をかけずに、目を合わせることもなく日本に帰ってきたのです。
私の年齢は２３歳。人間的には一番、体力があり、これから何でもできるんだというような根拠のない自信に溢れていた時です。その男はシワだらけの小さなマザーの前に立つことすらできなかった。なぜでしょうか。彼女の横顔が輝いていたからです。
そして、マザーの手紙を読んだ時、やっとその横顔の輝きの意味が分かったのです。彼女の輝きは「彼女が常に１００パーセント、神だけに信頼を置いてきたというような人間を超越した輝き」ではなかったのです。
一日に何度も失望に向き合わなくてはならない街で、人間として不信仰に陥ってしまうようなことが彼女にはあったことでしょう。しかし、その度に神の愛と恵みに立ち返っていくことにより彼女は日毎に新しくされていったのでしょう。
私はその時、その神の愛と恵みの輝きをマザーを通して見たのだと思います。その時「未来は俺の手の中にある」なんて思っていた無知な若者には、このマザーの輝きの本当の意味が分からなかったのです。しかし、彼女が自分の不信仰を自覚していたということを知るにつけ、神の恵みにより頼んでいた彼女の晩年の輝きの理由がやっと分ったのです。
主にある兄弟姉妹、特に年齢を重ねていかれる方々よ、私達は年を重ねれば重ねるほどに、その福音の真髄を経験できるようにされていきます。なぜなら私達の肉体が衰え、刻一刻、その最後に近づいているからです。
そして、そのプロセスは私達が神の輝く栄光を知るということの達成に必要不可欠なことであり、そのことにより私達はますます神の恵みを知ることができるということなのです。
ゼカリヤ書１４章７節には「夕暮れ時に、光がある」と書かれています。
それまで自分の力と度量により頼んでいた私達が、全く神と共に歩む、神に委ねて歩んでいく。そのような生涯を夕暮れの黄金の光になぞらえて言うことは誇張でしょうか。いいえ、それこそがバイブルが私達に語りかけていることなのです。
そして、皆さんの中には若い方々もいます。まさしく人生のステージの春・夏を生きているということでしょう。でも、今日の話は自分とは無関係とは思わないでください。
伝道の書１２章の１節に「あなたの若い日に、あなたの造り主を覚えなさい。悪しき日がきたり、年が寄って、「私にはなんの楽しみもない」と言うようにならないうちに、そのようにせよ」という言葉があります。
若いうちにキリストと出会ってください。そして、キリストの上に生涯のプランをたててください。あなたは自分が立てている計画以上のことを神にあって、知ることができるはずです。
そして、もし将来「歳はとりたくない」というような思いにかられる時がきたら、思い起こしてください。このことは私達のハイライトに向かうために、それを達成するために必要不可欠なことなのだと。その時、あなたはますます神の恵みを知り、完成に近づいているのです。
主にある皆さん、この主イエス・キリストにあって,将来、私達に確約されていることをどうかお忘れなく。たとえ今、どんなに苦しい時を通っていたとしても、私達は知っています。その最後は未だかつて体験したことのない良きものであると言うことを。そこに私達は着実に向かっていると言うことを。
お祈りしましょう。
New Departures (3): What’s Already Placed on the “Future Shelf”

So far we have talked about our “Inventory of the Past” through our “New Beginnings” series, and how the cross of Jesus Christ makes that possible. And last week I told you that we should “live to please God” and store that on the shelves of our hearts every day. Today, in light of these things, I would like to talk about what is assured for our future.
I am 53 years old this year. I thought I was 20 years old until recently, but the months go by so fast. There is a lot of talk about “this is what happens when you turn 40” or “be prepared for this when you are over 50”.
It is true that when I am over 50, I realize that there are things inside me that I never thought about when I was younger. The biggest one is that I have become more aware of “my end”. This has led me to “think about the present in terms of death”.
When you are young, you don’t think, “I have 60 years left to live”. Because there is no need to think about it. And I think that’s fine, because it is never healthy for a 20-year-old to live his days counting backwards from death.
When you enter Disneyland in the morning and are ready to enjoy your day to the fullest, you do not need to think about the sadness of the closing of the park. But when the park closes in an hour, we wonder what we will do with the rest of our time.
There is a Japanese saying, “All’s well that ends well.
This phrase offers possibilities for those who are coming to the end of their lives.I have had a very eventful life so far. But if the end is good, I can accept that all my life has been good, including those scattered days.
This is a great hope and encouragement for us, and we feel saved by these words.But the question is, how can we make that end good? Paul said in II Corinthians.
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:16-18).
As this verse says, our bodies decay and eventually cease to function. This cannot be avoided at all costs. And thinking about this alone, we are all plagued with vague fears and anxieties.
As someone once said, “Our daily fancies and pleasures are meant to distract us for a short time from death, which is our destiny. I don’t think that is wrong.
But Paul called the change of our bodies and our death “Light and momentary troubles”, saying that it will “achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all”. This word “work” in Japanese Bible is written in the English Bible as “achieving”.
This word means “to accomplish a purpose”. In other words, it means this. The fact that our bodies decay and eventually die is to accomplish a certain purpose.
The Bible does not speak in comforting words that try to put us in a good mood. It speaks of reality. Yes, our bodies will decay and eventually we will die. But have you ever thought about it?
That this is to achieve a certain purpose, and that it is God’s will.In conclusion, the words of the Corinthians speak to us, “The end is good.” In other words, Paul writes about the time when “we will receive the fullness of eternal and far outweighs glory.
Those who take these words literally can live today as a day approaching the good end. I am sure that you have had events in your lives that you call your best memories. But in reality, the Bible says that the highlight that cannot be compared to them is at the very end.
Many people think about that end, “This is the worst time, I don’t even want to think about it!” But for a change, our lives change when we realize this, that that end is the best thing we have ever experienced. No, it would be strange if you didn’t change!
There are certainly inexplicable things in life. Unthinkable and unreasonable things happen. I dare say that it is a matter of course. Why? As I told you two weeks ago, we humans are living in the present because of our sins, and not only we but all of this nature is in agony and suffering for redemption.
Therefore, because of that sorrow and suffering, the unbelievable can happen at any time in this world. But from God’s side, that light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
Dear everyone, do you know that this steadfast promise of God has already been placed on the “future shelf” of our hearts? We have been given this divine promissory note. Hence the Book of CorinthIans would have continued to write.
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:16-18).
What would you compare the world today to? It is a world full of things that can be seen. The Internet has made it possible for us to see things that we never had the opportunity to see before.
I have recently been thinking about this. Too much visibility and too much knowledge do not lead me to happiness. This leaves young people exhausted and adults unable to rest quietly in their own bodies and minds. We see what our neighbors own. We learn what our acquaintances are thinking. This creates a variety of emotions in our hearts. Our hearts become stirred. We are tossed about by what we see.
If we do not stop it with a firm thought, our hearts will be swept away more and more like a muddy stream. And we do not know where it will end up.
We are now standing in front of words written 2000 years ago. We turn our eyes not to what can be seen, but to what cannot be seen. Is it worth it to do so? It is worth it, says the Bible. For the Bible says that the visible will always perish, that it will never escape its fate of being lost, whereas the invisible will endure forever. Paul speaks of that which is invisible.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
It is the person within. There is no race in this world called the “inner man. It is the change that takes place in our hearts and minds. To grow old is to gain experience, and generally that experience makes us wiser.
But at the same time, as we age, we gradually lose hope. As the Four Seasons reveal, spring is the time when flowers will bloom from the buds, and in summer their leaves will open and grow with increasing vigor. There is hope that something new is about to begin. But in the fall, when the leaves fall and winter sets in, we are faced with a scene in which life seems to have ceased to be vibrant. Paul used the word “lose heart” to describe this.
Indeed it is.
If we think of that season as our physical body, it would seem that this season applies to our physical body as well. And it almost certainly affects our minds. Here normally we would be discouraged. But Paul said. We are not discouraged. Why?
Because for even though our outward man declines, our inward man is being renewed. It is not written here that we are renewed once a year, but that we are renewed day by day, so we are not discouraged.
How is this possible? I understand if it means that when the outside declines, the inside also declines. But while the outside may indeed decay physically, our inner man is renewed.
There is an evangelist named Arthur Holland. He was born to a Marine American father and a Japanese mother and grew up in Osaka. His father encouraged him to take up judo, but he eventually switched to wrestling and became a national wrestling champion.
At the age of 23, when his body was at its most dynamic, he was baptized on Mission Beach in San Diego. How did Arthur, a man with a body and strength that would garner national attention, come to faith at the height of his powers?
Were they influenced by the fervor of the church where young people gather? Not really. He is a fighter who always fought in a win-or-lose situation, so he is trained to instantly read the minds of those who stand before him with his keen eyes.
He can instantly tell whether this person is scared or confident. He went to a church where all the elderly people were gathered, and there he found that the radiance on the faces of the elderly people was not false. He realized that this is where the real thing is.
Arthur had a body worthy of the nation’s top wrestler. But he saw something extraordinary in those who had lost their physical power. And it changed his life.
He marveled at what he saw: the person within them was being renewed day by day, and there was no denying God’s involvement. He recognized the words of the Corinthians in the elderly people.
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Actually, I had a similar experience as Arthur. I was 23 years old and wandering alone in Calcutta, India, in the winter. Why was I in India? I came to the slums of Calcutta to meet a woman.
That woman, Mother Teresa, was sitting at the end of the line that day during the morning and evening masses, as if watching over the sisters in their young saris in a bleak room paved with cold stones.
Her body was so small that she looked more like she was cowering there than sitting. As a backpacker from Japan, I could not speak to her from two meters away and just looked at her wrinkled profile.
A few years ago, a letter that the mother had written before her death was published, and various media covered it. The letter said that she was “troubled by her unbelief” and “wondered if she was a hypocrite”.
If we were to remove the “article on human unbelief” from the 1,700-page bible we have, it would be about half as thick as it is. And if even more articles about people’s unbelief are removed, “God’s unconditional love and grace” will be removed from the Bible at the same time.
And at that time the Bible will no longer be the Bible and I will have no message to speak to you.
My reason for traveling at that time was to meet Mother Teresa. That is why I worked night and day, to come to India. She was sitting where I could speak to her. But I returned to Japan without saying a word to her or making eye contact with her.
My age is 23 years old. It was a time when I was most human, physically strong, and full of unfounded confidence that I could do anything from now on.The man could not even stand in front of his wrinkled little mother.
Why is that? Because her profile was glowing.
And when I read Mather’s letter, I finally understood the significance of that profile glow. Her radiance was not “a radiance that transcended the human, as if she had always put 100 percent of her trust in God alone.
In a city where she has to face disappointment many times a day, she must have had times when she would have fallen into disbelief as a human being. But each time she would turn to God’s love and grace, she would be renewed day by day.
I believe that I saw the radiance of God’s love and grace through Mother at that time.The ignorant young man who thought “the future is in my hands” at that time did not understand the true meaning of this Mother’s brilliance. But when I learned that she was aware of her unbelief, I finally understood the reason for the radiance of her later years, when she was asking for God’s grace.
Brothers and sisters in the Lord, especially those who are getting older, the older we get, the more we are enabled to experience the essence of that Gospel. Because our physical bodies are declining, and every moment we are getting closer to its end. And that process is essential to our attainment of knowing God’s shining glory, so that we may know more and more of His grace.
Zechariah 14:7 says, “When evening comes, there will be light”.
We, who until then had been asking according to our own strength and degree, walk with God altogether, and we walk in surrender to God. Is it an exaggeration to compare such a life to the golden light of dusk? No. That is exactly what the Bible is telling us.
And some of you are young people. You are living in the spring and summer of the very stage of life. But don’t think that today’s story has nothing to do with you.
Ecclesiastes 12:1 said, Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”—
Meet Christ while you are young. Then, plan your life on Christ. You will know more in God than you know in your own plans. And if there comes a time in the future when you find yourself thinking, “I don’t want to get old,” remember that. This is essential for us to get to our highlight and to achieve it.
Then you will know more and more of God’s grace and you will be closer to perfection. Dear everyone, please remember, all of you who are in the Lord, what is assured to us in the future in this Lord Jesus Christ.

（１）あなたは「死から逆算して今を考える」ことがありますか。残された日々をあなたはどのように生きたいと願いますか。
（２）私達の最後がこれまでの人生の中で最高の時であるということを知る時に、それは私達の今にどのような影響を与えますか。
（３）コリント第二の手紙４章１６節から１８節を読みましょう。ここにあなたの心に留まる言葉がありますか。
（４）私達の肉体は弱り、やがてその機能が停止する時があります。この人間の宿命は、ある目的を達成するために必要不可欠なものであるということを知る時に、私達は老いること、死ぬことに対してどんな新しい解釈が与えられますか。
（５）『私達は見えるものにではなく、見えないものに目を注ぐ。見えるものは一時的であり、見えないものは永遠に続くのである』（２コリント４章１８節）。あなたは見えるものにどれだけ影響を受けていますか。見えるものの特徴は何ですか。見えないものにはどんなものがありますか。
（６）「だから私達は落胆しない。たとい私達の外なる人は滅びても、内なる人は日毎に新しくされていく。」（Ⅱコリント４章１６節）。「内なる人が日毎に新しくされていく」ということはどういうことですか。
（７）２コリント３章１８節を読みましょう。私達に与えられている約束は何ですか。私達の未来の棚に既に置かれているものは何ですか。
（８）上記のことを全て踏まえて生きる私達の今は、どんな時なのでしょうか。
