時が満ちるに及び、神はイエス・キリストをこの地に誕生させました。なぜ？それは律法の下にある者を贖い出すためでした。イエス・キリストが生まれる前に、神はイスラエルに律法を与え、それを守るようにと彼らに語り続けました。しかし、彼らはそれを守り通すことができませんでした。彼らは数え切れないほど、神の律法を破り、神はその度にそのあわれみゆえに彼らを赦し続けました。しかし、それでも彼らは律法を破り続けたのです。
旧約聖書をお読みください。そこに記されていることを映画にするのなら、その多くはR指定となるようなことで、どれもこれも目を覆いたくなるようなことばかりです。そうです、もう無理なのです。人間の側に自らを救うことは無理だろうと旧約聖書は私たちに語りかけるのです。このことゆえに旧約聖書はその結論として、こう証言します。人間の側に自らを救いうるものは何もない。その意味において人間は絶望的だ。人間は自らの言動により、完全に詰んだのです。そのような意味で、まさしく「時は満ちた」のです（大倉）。

時は満ちた！

日本の昔ながらの食堂に行きますと「暖簾（のれん）」というものがかかっています。
この「暖簾」にはその店の屋号が書かれているものもあり、看板のような役目をはたしています。しかし、同時にこの「のれん」にはもう一つの意味があります。店が開く時に暖簾が出され、店が閉まると暖簾は取り外されるのです。暖簾が出ていない店はまだ開店していない目印となります。暖簾が取り外された店は営業終了の意味があります。
これまで旧約聖書の人物を見てきましたが、来週からは新約聖書の人物を見ていきます。この旧約聖書と新約聖書の間には４００年のブランクがあり、その間の記録は聖書に記されていません。今日はこの旧約聖書と新約聖書の間にある沈黙についてお話しします。
神はこの４００年の間、暖簾を下ろして、店を閉めてしまわれたのでしょうか。いいえ、神に開店も閉店もありません。神様はいつも、今もはたらいています。三週間前にエステル書には「神」という言葉が一度も出てこないとお話ししました。しかし、そのエステル書には神様が導かれた大いなる人間ドラマがありました。「何も起きなかった」と思われるような一日でも、神様ははたらいているのです。
この４００年の間、多くの人が生まれ、笑い、泣き、そして死にました。この世の富と力を掌握したような権力者が起こり、帝国が生まれました。神様はその４００年の間、何をなされていたのでしょうか。この沈黙の４００年を経て、イエス・キリストが誕生し、それと同時に新約聖書が始まります。そのイエス様の誕生について聖書はこう記しています。
ガラテヤ４章４節 「しかし、時の満ちるに及んで、神は御子を女から生まれさせて、おつかわしになった」
イエス・キリストは、その宣教の第一声としてこう言いました。
マルコ１章１５節 「時は満ちた、神の国は近づいた。悔い改めて福音を信ぜよ」
このところで日本語の聖書は「時が満ちた」と言っていることに注目しましょう。
私は昨日、洗礼槽にホースで水を入れました。洗礼槽に水を入れる度に思い起こすことがあります。今から４０年ほど前、母が牧会していた日本の教会で洗礼式がありました。その教会には床下に洗礼槽があり、そこに水を入れます。ちょうどクリスマスの日曜日の朝だったと思います。
水とお湯を同時に入れ始めたのですが、忙しくしている母はそのことを忘れました。気がついた時に水が洗礼槽から満ち溢れ、教会堂はボリビアのウユニ湖となっていました。
すぐに水を掻き出し、暖房を全開にして会堂を乾かし、どうやら礼拝に間に合わせました。その経験が強烈に残っているので、二度と同じ過ちは犯すまいと私は洗礼槽に水を入れる時はナーバスになります。
あのクリスマスの朝、私と母は洗礼槽から溢れて、会堂の床全面に広がった水を目の当たりにしたのです。私達はその水が溢れ出る瞬間を目撃することはありませんでしたが、確かにその水は洗礼槽の上部に徐々に近づき、やがてそこに達し、外に溢れ出ていったのです。
「満ちる」というのはそういうことでありましょう。「あっ、こぼれる」という、その瞬間を「満ちる」というのです。
それは後にも先にもない、その瞬間が来た、その時のことをいいます。そのようにして時が満ちて、イエス・キリストは誕生したのです。
また「時が満ちた」ということは、そこに至るまでの時間があったということも意味します。それは、満ち溢れる瞬間に向かって、そこに到達する備えが続けられていたということです。それでは聖書がいう「時が満ちた時」、その時の世界はどんな世界だったのでしょうか。
その時代は「Pax Romana」と呼ばれ、それは「ローマの平和」を意味しました。それは紀元前２７年から紀元後１８０年にまでおよぶ、ローマ帝国の磐石な支配ゆえに、世界の平和が続いた時代でした。その時、イスラエルはそのローマの支配下に置かれており、そのローマゆえに内乱や侵略が比較的にない平和な時代でした。それまでの小さな国がひしめき合うような国境閉鎖がなされている時代は終わり、ローマが国境をこじ開けた時代でした。
もし、イエス様の誕生がこの時より１００年早ければ、陸上において、野蛮ひしめき合う民族同士の争いにより福音は閉ざされていたでしょう。海上にひしめく、海賊がはびこる時に、航海すら出来なかったことでしょう。もし、２００年遅ければ、北方のゲルマン民族の脅威が人々に福音を受け入れる耳などもたせなかったことでしょう。
福音が地中海沿岸（いわゆるヨーロッパ）の国々に伝わり、そこにしっかりと根づいたからこそ、それから千年以上の年月を経て、そこにあった列強の国々すなわち、スペイン、ポルトガル、イギリスがキリスト教を全世界に運んだのです。もちろん、この宣教には植民地支配という悪しきものも伴ってしまいましたが、少なくともイエスの教えは地の果てにまで伝わりました。このことゆえにアメリカにも日本にもキリスト教は伝わったのです。
その時にローマは勢力を拡大するために「全ての道はローマに通ず」と呼ばれるほどの道路網を整備しました。カイザルの元で何万人もの人達が額に汗して石畳の道を作り、ローマの軍隊はその道を通り各地の治安にあたり、数えきれない物資がその道によって世界各地に運ばれたのです。この彼らの道を通って、パウロやキリストの弟子たちが、福音を全世界に伝えるようになることを誰が想像したでしょうか。
そして、その時代、どの国も母国語と共にギリシア語を第二国語として用いていました。ですからギリシア語はアテネの街頭でもガリラヤの丘でも、ローマ、スペインでも使われました。このことゆえに新約聖書は最初にギリシア語で書かれたのです。なぜパウロは福音をあますところなく伝えることができたのでしょうか。それは、その時にギリシア語があったからです。これらの理由からイエス・キリストが生まれた時代は最も福音が世界中に伝えられやすい時代だったのです。
そして、言うまでもなくそれは偶然ではないのです。天地創造からその時にいたるまでの人間の歴史を全て知っておられる神は、その時を選び、イエスを誕生させたのです。全ての人間の歴史の中から、あえてその時代を選ぶことは、その全ての時代を最初から知る神以外にできないことだったのです。
先にその時代はローマの繁栄と平和があったと申し上げました。しかし、常に光の背後には影があります。確かにローマが治める世界の外見は繁栄に満ち、外国との抑圧はなく、平和で安泰に見えました。
しかし、その背後には多くの支配される人々がうごめいていました。ローマの街路地では３人のうち１人は奴隷であり、人の所有物だったのです。不安と動揺と搾取がなされていました。立ち向かうことができない武力がそれを抑え込んでいたのです。人々はこの帝国を維持するために起こるシワ寄せとして課せられる過度の重税により、経済的に厳しい状態にありました。各地で徴収される強制労働は彼らの心身を痛めつけていたのです。
反対に当時のローマの華やかさは凄まじいものだったようです。皇帝や高官の屋敷においては、毎晩のように宴会が催され、人々は美食なるものに関心があり、彼らの食卓には世界中の珍味が並べられたというのです。そして、それらを食した後に、彼らはわざとそれらを吐き戻し、次の珍味を食べ続けたというのです。
彼らは時の退屈をしのぐために巨大なコロシアムを造り、そこで人間と猛獣をどちらかが殺されるまで戦わせました。これらのことは明らかに人の心にある何によっても潤すことのできない渇きを意味していました。まさしく、その時、全てのことにおいてメシアを待ち望む思いは頂点に達していたのです。時が満ちたのです。先に読みましたガラテヤ４章４節には続く言葉があります。

時が満ちるに及び、神はイエス・キリストをこの地に誕生させました。なぜ？それは律法の下にある者を贖い出すためでした。イエス・キリストが生まれる前に、神はモーセを通してイスラエルに律法を与え、それを守るようにと彼らに語り続けました。
しかし、彼らはそれを守り通すことができませんでした。彼らは数え切れないほど、神の律法を破り、神はその度にそのあわれみゆえに彼らを赦し続けました。しかし、それでも彼らは律法を破り続けたのです。神は何人もの預言者と呼ばれる人を用いて、彼らを通して神の言葉を人々に伝え続けたのです。しかし、彼らの心は頑なで預言者の言葉を聞くことがないばかりか、その預言者を辱め、彼らの命をも奪おうとしました。
旧約聖書をお読みください。そこに記されていることを映画にするのなら、そのほとんどはR指定となります。兄弟殺しから始まり、兄弟を奴隷として売る、身内をだます、奪う、殺す、近親相姦、我が子を食べる、部下の妻を奪い、それを隠蔽し、果てにはその部下を殺す・・・。どれもこれも目を覆いたくなるようなことばかりです。
そうです、もう無理なのです。人間の側に自らを救うことは無理だろうと旧約聖書は私たちに語りかけるのです。このことゆえに旧約聖書はその結論として、こう証言します。「人間の側に自らを救いうるものは何もない。その意味において人間は絶望的だ」。人間は自らの言動により、完全に詰んだのです。そのような意味でまさしく「時は満ちた」のです。
赤信号は渡るな。でも人は渡ります。平気で渡ります。果てには「赤信号、みんなで渡れば怖くない」という心理が私達の間に蔓延します。良心の咎めは失われ、心が麻痺していくのです。こうして、「律法」は虚しいかけ声となります。
しかし「福音」は赤信号を渡ってしまった者達に希望を語りかけるのです。イエス様は「命がけで律法を守りなさい」というメッセージを携えて、この世界に来たのではないのです。そもそも、我々にはそのような力がないことが旧約聖書において実証されていたからです。ですからイエス様はご自身の命をもって私たちの罪を贖うためにお生まれになったのです。
ガラテヤ２章１６節. 人の義とされるのは律法の行いによるのではなく、ただキリスト・イエスを信じる信仰によることを認めて、わたしたちもキリスト・イエスを信じたのである。それは、律法の行いによるのではなく、キリストを信じる信仰によって義とされるためである。なぜなら、律法の行いによっては、だれひとり義とされることがないからである。
ガラテヤ２章１９節—２１節. 19 わたしは、神に生きるために、律法によって律法に死んだ。わたしはキリストと共に十字架につけられた。20 生きているのは、もはや、わたしではない。キリストが、わたしのうちに生きておられるのである。しかし、わたしがいま肉にあって生きているのは、わたしを愛し、わたしのためにご自身をささげられた神の御子を信じる信仰によって、生きているのである。21 わたしは、神の恵みを無にはしない。もし、義が律法によって得られるとすれば、キリストの死はむだであったことになる。
イエス・キリストは石や羊皮紙に刻まれた言葉に従うことを私達に求めたのではなく、愛の力によって私たちの心を変えるためにこの世界に生まれたのです。私たちが今日を生き、明日を生きていく力は私たちの肉の力ではないのです。私たちが今、肉にあって生かされているのは、わたしを愛し、わたしのためにご自身をささげられた神の御子を信じる信仰によって、生きているのです！
主にある皆さん、私たちの力の源がここにないと、私たちはすぐに息切れし、人を裁き、いつも何かが足りないという思いにつきまとわれ、その心には虚しさが伴います。このようなことに心当たりはありませんでしょうか。私達はそこに留まり続けてこれからも暮らし、そして人生を終えるのでしょうか。
今日、お二人の方が洗礼を受けます。お二人共に、ここにいたるまで色々な出会いがあり、色々なことを見聞きし、彼女達の心にクリスチャニティーへの想いが起こされ、今日を迎えました。そのような意味で「時が満ちて」、この日を迎えたといっても過言ではないでしょう。
万理さんはアップル幼稚園に勤め、そこで子供に語るメッセージの中から、またそこにいるクリスチャンの方達の影響を受けて、信仰へと導かれました。現在、彼女はテキサスにおいて、新しい幼稚園のはたらきの備えをしています。
優香さんは夫、サムとの結婚を通して、信仰へと導かれました。彼女は来月、女の子を出産します。先日、思いました。優香さんのお腹にいるベイビーもお母さんと一緒に水に浸かるのということは、彼女の赤ちゃんも洗礼にあずかるのだろうか。いいえ、優香さんの娘さんも、いつか時が満ち、自分の意思でお母さんのようにイエス・キリストを信じ、洗礼を受ける日がくることを私は信じています。
詩篇３１篇１５節には「わたしの時はあなたのみ手にあります」とう言葉が記されています。皆さんは今、どんな時を過ごしていますか。聖書は私たちの時は神のみ手の中にあると言います。Ⅱコリント６章２節においてパウロは言いました。「見よ、今は恵みの時、見よ、今は救いの日である」
今日、皆さん、お一人お一人におたずねしたいと思います。これまでのあなたの人生、こう思われている方はいませんか。「自分は思うままに、あちこちを歩んできた。好きなことをしてきた人生だったと思う。でも、もう潮時だ、神に立ち返ろう」「私はクリスチャンですと言いながら、それは名ばかりで神様を脇に置いて、都合のいい時、都合の悪い時だけ、神の名を呼んできた」しかし、今、思う。「それは違うだろう。やはり神を第一として生きることが人間の本文なのだ」ということが、事ある度に心に聞こえてくることがありませんか。
時が満ちて、イエス・キリストは生まれました。新約聖書の始まりです。神を前に、あなたの時は満ちていませんか。あなたの新しい人生の始まりです。ヘブル書は２０００年間、私たちに語りかけています。
ヘブル３章１５節 「今日、み声を聞いたなら、神にそむいた時のように、あなたがたの心を、かたくなにしてはいけない」。
聖書は言い続けています。その時は三月後ではなく、５年先ではなく、今なのだ。今日、あなたが神のみ声を聞いたのなら、心を頑なにするな。既に時は満ちている。神に立ち返れ。神様は両手を広げてあなたを迎えてくださることでしょう。お祈りしましょう。
The Time Has Come!

When you go to a traditional Japanese diner, you will see a “noren” (curtain) hanging over the door. Some of these “noren” have the store’s trademark written on them and serve as signboards. At the same time, however, this “noren” has another meaning. The noren is put up when the store opens and is removed when the store closes. A store with no noren is a sign that it is not yet open. A store whose noren has been removed signifies that it is no longer in business.
So far we have looked at people from the Old Testament, and next week we will begin looking at people from the New Testament. There is a 400-year blank between the Old Testament and the New Testament, and the records of that period are not recorded in the Bible. Today I will talk about this silence between the Old and New Testaments.
Has God taken down the noren and closed up store for these 400 years? No, for God there is neither open nor closed. God has always been working and is still working now. Three weeks ago I told you that the word “God” does not appear once in the Book of Esther. However, there was a great human drama that God led in the book of Esther. God is at work even in a day that seems like “nothing happened”.
Over these 400 years, many people were born, laughed, cried, and died. A powerhouse arose that seemed to seize the wealth and power of this world, and an empire was born. What was God doing during those 400 years? After 400 years of this silence, Jesus Christ was born, and with that the New Testament starts. The Bible describes the birth of Jesus as follows.
Galatains 4:4 But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
Jesus Christ said this as the first word of His ministry.
Mark 1:15. “The time has come, the kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
Notice that the Japanese Bible says “the time is full” here.
Yesterday, I filled the baptismal tank with water using a hose. There is something I am reminded of every time I fill the baptismal tank with water. About 40 years ago, there was a baptismal ceremony at the church in Japan where my mother pastored. That church had a baptismal tank under the floor, which is filled with water. I think it was a Christmas Sunday morning.
My mother started filling the tank with water and hot water at the same time, but being busy she forgot about it.。By the time she noticed, the water was overflowing from the baptismal tank and the church sanctuary had become the Lake Uyuni of Bolivia! We quickly scraped out the water, turned up the heat to full blast, dried out the sanctuary, and somehow made it in time for the worship service. That experience left such a strong impression on me, that I become nervous when I fill the baptismal tank with water so that I will not make the same mistake again.
That Christmas morning, my mother and I saw the water overflowing from the baptismal tank and spreading over the entire floor of the sanctuary. We did not witness the moment the water overflowed, but it certainly came gradually closer to the top of the baptismal tank, eventually reaching it and overflowing outward.
The moment of “Ah, it will spill” is called “full”. It points to that time, a moment that has come, that is not later or beforehand. Thus, in the fullness of time, Jesus Christ was born.
“The time has come” also means that there was time to get there. That is, it was moving toward the moment of fulfillment, and the preparations to get there were ongoing. So what was the world like then, when the Bible says “the time has come”?
That time period was called “Pax Romana”, which meant “Roman Peace”. It was a time of world peace due to the rock-solid rule of the Roman Empire, which lasted from 27 B.C. to 180 A.D. At that time, Israel was under the rule of Rome, and because of that it was a time of peace with relatively few civil wars or invasions. Gone were the days of closed borders, when small countries were at odds with one another. It was a time period when Rome had pried open its borders.
If Jesus had been born a hundred years earlier, the gospel would have been closed to the world due to the barbaric conflicts among the savage peoples on land. It would have been impossible to even sail at a time when the seas were crawling with pirates. If it had been 200 years later, the threat of Germanic tribes in the north would have made people less receptive to the gospel.
It is precisely because the gospel reached the countries of the Mediterranean (so-called Europe) and took firm root there that, over the next thousand years, the powerful nations there, namely Spain, Portugal, and England, carried Christianity to the entire world. Of course, this mission was accompanied by the evils of colonial rule, but at least Jesus’ teachings reached the ends of the earth. This is why Christianity was introduced to both America and Japan.
At that time, in order to expand its power, Rome built a road network so extensive that it was called “All roads lead to Rome”. Under Caesar, tens of thousands of people worked hard to build the cobblestone streets, through which the Roman army provided security and countless goods were transported around the world. Who would have imagined that through their roads, Paul and the disciples of Christ would come to take the Gospel to the whole world?
And every country in that time period used Greek as a second language along with their native tongue. So Greek was used on the streets of Athens, on the hills of Galilee, in Rome, and in Spain. This is why the New Testament was first written in Greek. Why was Paul able to preach the gospel so thoroughly? It was because the Greek language existed at that time. For these reasons, the time period in which Jesus Christ was born was the time period in which the gospel could most easily be spread throughout the world.
And needless to say, that is no coincidence. God, who knows the entire history of mankind from creation to that time, chose that time for Jesus to be born. To dare to choose that time period out of all human history was something that no one but God, who knew all those periods of time from the beginning, could have done.
I mentioned earlier that during that time period there was prosperity and peace in Rome. However, there is always a shadow behind the light. Indeed, the outward appearance of the world ruled by Rome was prosperous, there was no oppression with foreign nations, and it seemed peaceful and secure.
However, behind it all, there were many people who were being ruled who were groaning. One out of three people on Roman streets were slaves and owned by people. Anxiety, unrest and exploitation were taking place. An armed force that could not be confronted kept it at bay. People were in dire economic straits due to the excessive heavy taxes imposed as a wrinkle to maintain this empire. The forced labor collected in various places was hurting them physically and mentally.
On the contrary, the pomp and splendor of Rome at that time seemed to be tremendous. In the residences of emperors and dignitaries, banquets were held every night, and people were interested in gastronomy, with delicacies from all over the world on their tables. Then, after eating them, they would purposely spit them back out and continue eating the next delicacy.
To pass the boredom of time, they built a huge coliseum, where man and beast of prey fought until one or the other was killed. These things clearly signified a thirst in the human heart that could not be quenched by anything. At that very moment, the longing for the Messiah in all things was at its peak. The time had come. In Galatians 4:4, which we read earlier, there are words that follow.
Galatians 4:4, 5. But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.
In the fullness of time, God brought Jesus Christ into the world. Why? It was to redeem those under the law. Before Jesus Christ was born, God gave the Law to Israel through Moses and kept telling them to keep it.
But they could not keep it up. Countless times they broke God’s law, and each time God continued to forgive them because of His mercy. But they still continued to break the law. God used a number of men called prophets to continue to bring His word to the people through them. But their hearts were so stubborn that not only did they not listen to the prophets’ words, but they also tried to humiliate them and take their lives as well.
Please read the Old Testament. If you are going to make a movie about what is written there, most of it will be R-rated. Starting from murder of a brother, selling a brother as a slave, deceiving, robbing, killing, incest, eating one’s own child, taking the wife of one’s subordinate, covering it up, and finally killing that subordinate . . .All of these things make me want to cover my eyes.
Yes, it is impossible. The Old Testament tells us that it is impossible for humans to save themselves. This is why the Old Testament testifies in its conclusion that: “There is nothing on the part of humans that can save themselves. In that sense, humans are hopeless.” Humans have been completely choked by their own words and actions. In that sense, truly “the time has come”.
Don’t cross red lights. But people cross. They cross with impunity. The end result is a pervasive mentality among us that “a red light, if we all cross it together there is nothing to fear”. The iniquity of conscience is lost and the mind becomes numb. Thus, the “law” becomes a vain call.
But the “gospel” speaks of hope to those who have crossed the red light. Jesus did not come to this world with a message of “obey the law with your life”. Because in the first place, it was demonstrated in the Old Testament that we have no such power. That is why Jesus was born to atone for our sins with His own life.
Galatians 2:16. know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.
Galatians 2:19-21 19 “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”
Jesus Christ did not ask us to follow words inscribed in stone or parchment, but was born into this world to transform our hearts by the power of love. The power we have to live today and tomorrow is not in the power of our flesh. It is by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself for us, that we now live in the flesh!
People in the Lord, if the source of our strength is not here, we will soon run out of breath, we will judge others, and we will always be haunted by the thought that something is missing, and with that there will be emptiness in our hearts. Do you have any idea what this is like? Will we continue to live and end our lives in this manner?
Two people will be baptized today. Both of them have met many people, seen and heard many things, and have had the desire for Christianity awakened in their hearts before coming to this day. It is no exaggeration to say that in this sense, “the time has come” and this day has arrived.

Yuka was led to faith through her marriage to her husband, Sam. She is giving birth to a baby girl next month. The other day, I wondered. If Yuka’s baby in her womb is also being immersed in the water with her mother, does that mean her baby will be baptized as well? No, I believe that Yuka’s daughter will one day, in the fullness of time, of her own volition, will believe in Jesus Christ and be baptized like her mother.
The following words are found in Psalm 31:15: My times are in your hands. What kind of time are you spending now? The Bible says that our time is in God’s hands. In 2 Corinthians 6:2, Paul says, “I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation”.
I would like to ask each and every one of you today. In your life up until this point, is there anyone who has thought the following way? “I have gone all over the place as I please. I think I’ve spent my life doing what I wanted to do. But it’s time for me to turn back to God.” “I say I am a Christian, but it is in name only, and I have set God aside when things are good, and invoked His name only when things were bad.” But now I think. “That’s not right. After all, it is the proper scenario for humans to live putting God first.” Don’t you hear that in your heart every time you do something?
In the fullness of time, Jesus Christ was born. This is the beginning of the New Testament. Is your time not full before God? It is the beginning of your new life. The book of Hebrews has been speaking to us for 2000 years.
Hebrews 3:15. “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.”
The Bible continues to says so. The time is not three months from now, not five years from now, but now. If you have heard God’s voice today, do not harden your heart. The time has already come. Turn to God. God will welcome you with open arms. Let us pray.

１）あなたは神様が沈黙していると感じたことがありますか。実際にそれは神様が何もしていなかったということなのでしょうか。
２）ガラテヤ４章４節、マルコ１章５節を読みましょう。「時が満ちる」という言葉に対して、あなたはどんなイメージをもちますか。
３）イエス様の誕生と宣教は時が満ちて起きたことでした。その時が来た時、イエス様を取り囲む世界はどんな世界となっていましたか（ローマの勢力、ギリシア語、人々の生活・・・）。
４）ガラテヤ４章５節は時が満ち、神様がイエス様を女から産まれさせ、この世界に遣わした理由についてこう書いています。「それは、律法の下にある者をあがない出すため、わたしたちに子たる身分を授けるためであった」。 このことは何を意味していますか。
５）新約聖書にあって旧約聖書にないものは何でしょうか。旧約聖書は人間について、どんな結論をもって終わっていますか。そのことに対してイエス・キリストは何をしてくれましたか（ガラテヤ２章１６節、１９節−２１節）。
６）あなたの人生には「時が満ちた」と思わされることがありますか。そのことに気がついた時に私たちが取るべき姿勢について聖書は何と言っていますか （Ⅱコリント６章２節、ヘブル３章１５節）。
