私達はイエス・キリストが死から甦ったことを記念するイースターという今日、疑いをもつ！何を疑うのか。「死は全ての終わりだ」と思っていたことに疑いをもつのだ！そう「死んでしまえばおしまいさ」ということを疑うのだ！

悩み－（勇気＋信仰）＝勝利

ルカによる福音書２４章１節～１２節
聖書の中に「ヨハネによる福音書」という書があります。これはイエス・キリストの弟子であるヨハネがイエスを間近に見て、またそのありさまを人づてに聞き、その言動を記録したものであります。そして、いよいよその書の記述が終わりに近づいた時に、彼はこのような言葉で自分がその書を書いた理由について記しているのです。『しかし、これらのことを書いたのは、あなたがたがイエスは神の子キリストであると信じるためであり、また、そう信じて、イエスの名によって命を得るためである』（ヨハネ２０章３１節）。
このところで「神の子キリスト」と書かれているということは、もはやイエス・キリストの言動がこの世界で私達が見聞きすることだけではないということを意味します。ですから、ヨハネは私達が神の子イエス・キリストを「理解するように」ということだけではなく、イエスが神の子であることを私達が「信じるため」であると言っているのです。
そして、このイースターという日に皆さんにお話します出来事も私達が理解するものではなく、信じるものとして位置づけられるものなのです。その出来事は新約聖書の福音書と呼ばれるマタイ、マルコ、ルカ、ヨハネすべてに記録されているものですが、その中からルカによる福音書２４章に書かれていることをお読みします。
1週の初めの日、夜明け前に、女たちは用意しておいた香料を携えて、墓に行った。2ところが、石が墓からころがしてあるので、3中にはいってみると、主イエスのからだが見当らなかった。4そのため途方にくれていると、見よ、輝いた衣を着たふたりの者が、彼らに現れた。5女たちは驚き恐れて、顔を地に伏せていると、このふたりの者が言った、
「あなたがたは、なぜ生きた方を死人の中にたずねているのか。6そのかたは、ここにはおられない。よみがえられたのだ。まだガリラヤにおられたとき、あなたがたにお話しになったことを思い出しなさい。7すなわち、人の子は必ず罪人らの手に渡され、十字架につけられ、そして三日目によみがえる、と仰せられたではないか」。
このキリストの復活というのは、イエスの弟子をはじめ、そのキリストを全世界に伝えた第一人者のパウロにとっては、彼らの宣教の原動力となる出来事であり、パウロにいたってはこんな言葉を記して、自分達にとってキリストの復活というものがどんなに大きなものであるかということを書き記しているのです。
『もしキリストがよみがえらなかったとしたら、わたしたちの宣教はむなしく、あなたがたの信仰もまたむなしい』（コリント第一の手紙１５章１４節）。
『もしわたしたちが、この世の生活でキリストにあって単なる望みをいだいているだけだとすれば、わたしたちは、すべての人の中で最もあわれむべき存在となる』（コリント第一の手紙１５章１９節）。
パウロのいいようでは、私達がどんなにキリストに希望をもっていても、もしキリストの復活がなければ全ては空しいということです。なぜですか、答えは簡単。「死んでしまえば全ては終わりだからです」。しかし、パウロは言っています。『しかし、事実、キリストは眠っている者の初穂として、死人の中からよみがえったのである』（コリント第一の手紙１５章２０節）
これらのことを踏まえて、このイースターの朝、ヨハネによる福音書１６章３３節から、キリストが語られたこんな言葉を共に見ていきましょう。『あなたがたは、この世ではなやみがある。しかし、勇気を出しなさい。わたしはすでに世に勝っている』
今日はここから三つのことをお話します。まず、最初に私達には悩みがあるということです。
悩みがある
この断定的な言葉には抵抗があるかもしれません。私達は決めつけられることを心良しとしませんから。しかし、この言葉に対してはある程度、納得がいくのではないでしょうか。欲しい物を手に入れるとそれを管理するための悩みがでます。憧れであった新車やマイホームを手に入れるということは、それを管理し維持していく悩みを背負うことです。入念に予定した旅行にも思わぬ悩みがともなうことがあります。結婚するということも、子供が与えられるということも、それらは喜びであると同時に、悩みを背負うことです。
すなわち、生きるということ自体が、悩みを背負うことです。そして、その悩みの中で、私達がぬぐってもぬぐっても取り去ることのできない悩み、悩みの中の究極は私達が「死ぬ」運命にあるということです。アインシュタインは「私は、死をとうとう返済することのできなかった、昔の借金のように感じます」と言ったといいますが、まさしく、それは手をつけることができず、最後の最後まで残された借金のようなものなのです。
私達はこの一年間、「地震」、「津波」、「原発の問題」とその恐ろしさや対策ということを何度、聞いてきたでしょうか。また「イラン」や「北朝鮮」といような国の動向を私達は注意深く見ています。なぜ、私達はこれらのことに注視するのでしょうか。なぜなら、これら全てのものは何かを壊す力があるからです。それが私達に恐れをいだかせ、私達を不安にします。そして、その壊される最たるものは人の命なのです。すなわち、これらの問題は人の死に直結するものであるがゆえに、私達は無関心ではいられないのです。
私達は将来の年金、社会保障、そして医療保険の問題に関心をもっています。これらのことに対して次期のリーダーがどんなビジョンをもっているのかということが、この国の大統領選挙にとって大きな決定要素になろうとしています。なぜなら、それらは直接、自分の将来の生活にかかってくることであり、突き詰めていいますならば私達が安心して生きることができるのかどうか、ということにかかってくることだからです。もっといいますと私達がどれぐらい長く生きながらえるかということに関わるからです。
食の安全というものが現在ほど注目されている時代もありません。日本ではスーパーにおいて、農作物や海産物がどこで捕れたものであるかを表示し、もはやそれだけではなく誰が実際に収穫したのか、その当人の写真を名前入りで提示しているのです。なぜでしょうか。これら口から入るものは全て私達の健康に直結しているものであり、それを突き詰めるのなら命を少しでも健やかに長く保ちたいからです。
ですから、私達が今日、心配している諸々の問題と言うのは、突き詰めていきますならば、私達の命、もっと直接的にいいますなら、私達の死に行きつくのです。まさしく「死」こそ私達、人類が乗り越えることも、解決することもできない最後の壁です。この死に対する思いは今に始まったことではなく、今日、ユネスコの世界遺産というものがありますが、そこに登録されている「墓」を見る時にそれが分かります。言うまでもなくエジプトのピラミッドから、またあのインドのタジマハールも墓なのです。人間はこれまで、得体の知れない死に対して、どうすることもできずに、恐れと共に今日では理解できないようなものを作り上げてきたのです。
さて、それではこの私達の究極の悩みについてキリストは何と言っているのでしょうか。二つめのこと、それは勇気を出しなさいということです。
勇気を出しなさい
「あなたがたは悩みがある」と言った後に、キリストが「勇気を出しなさい」と言われたということは、あらためて考えますと不思議です。なぜ、このところで「勇気」なのかという不思議です。悩みがあると知っている者に対して「問題に取り組む知恵を与える」とか、「少しやすみなさい」とか、「元気をだしなさい」とは言わずに、キリストは「勇気を出しなさい」と言われました。そもそも勇気とは何なのでしょうか。勇気とは私達が恐れとか不安を前にして、動けなくなっている時に、そこから立ち上がり、一歩、前に進み出る心のことをいいます。私達が悩みに向き合う時には、勇気を出す、信じて一歩を踏み出しなさい。その姿勢でいきなさいとイエス様は言われたのです。
しかし、現実問題、私達には勇気がないのです。ましてや、それが死の問題となりますと、多くの私達はそれは一歩前に出て、どうこうするものではなく、それを前に動けなくなってしまうのです。日本などの慣習によりますと動けないどころではない、死ということを口に出すことすら、忌み嫌われているのです。
そのような死を前にキリストは勇気をもって一歩を踏み出しなさいというのです。そして、なぜ私たちがそのような勇気を持つことができるのかということが、次に書かれています。
世に勝つ
キリストはこの言葉を「わたしはすでに世に勝っている」という言葉で閉じました。世に勝つとはどんな意味か。競合する会社同士の売り上げが多いということなのか。格闘技の大会でチャンピオンになることなのか。それらは他の人や他の会社や他の国々に比べて、優劣を比べていることであり、いつも相対的なものです。しかし、ここでキリストがいう勝つというのは、ましく、この世に生きるということに勝つということであり、その究極的な勝利とは先ほどから申しております死に打ち勝つということです。なぜなら、人類はこの死にことごとく連敗してきたからです。誰もこの死に勝利をした者はいなかったのです。
しかし、キリストはこの死からよみがえったといいます。それがイースターです。そのことを私たちが信じるために聖書は書かれています。そう、私たちが恐れおののく、その死に対してキリストがすでに勝利をとったゆえに、私たちは勇気をもって前に進みだすのです。
「福音」という言葉があります。英語でいいます「ゴスペル」という言葉です。福音はしばしばグッドニュースとも呼ばれ、イエス・キリストにあって神の国が到来したという良き知らせを意味します。なぜ、この言葉がグッドニュースなのかといいますと、この「福音」という言葉のギリシア語の原語はεὐαγγέλιον, euangelion（ユーアンゲリオーン）といって、これは戦時下の前線において決定的勝利を意味する言葉として用いられたものだからです。すなわち、この福音とは戦いの勝利を意味する言葉なのです。オリンピック発祥の地であるギリシアでは紀元前４５０年にマラトンの戦いでギリシア軍がペルシア軍を撃退し、その勝利を伝えるためにフィディピディス（Philippides）という兵士がアテナイまでの４０キロを走ったところからマラソン競技が生まれました。ですから福音とは勝利の知らせなのです。
私は兵士となったことがありませんから、戦争における勝利というものがいつ、どのようにして決められるかを知りません。しかし、色々なことを見聞きして想像できることは、その対戦国の主要都市、多くの場合はその首都が占拠される時に、だいたいその戦争の勝敗が決まるとのではないかと思います。日本の戦国時代ですなら、その部隊の大将の首が捕られるということと同じようなことなのかもしれません。
もし、そのように考えますならば。ですから、そこにいたる道程も私達はイエス・キリストにあって勝利なのです。そのことをパウロもこう記しているではありませんか
このようにその首都や大将を勝ちとれば、それが全体の勝利になり、国民全てが勝利の凱旋に加わることができるように、私達、人類が克服できない死に対して、その最期の砦をキリストが勝ち取ってくださったことにより、私たちもその勝利の凱旋にキリストと共に連なることができると聖書はこう約束しているのです。
しかるに、神は感謝すべきかな。神はいつもわたしたちをキリストの凱旋に伴い行き、わたしたちを通してキリストを知る知識のかおりを、至る所に放って下さるのである。コリント第二の手紙２章１４節
今日はこれから松澤究太郎君の洗礼式を執り行います。若くして、このキリストの勝利の凱旋に加わることができることはなんと幸いなのかなと思います。これからの長い人生、色々なことがあるでしょうが、その歩みはこのキリストの凱旋から外れることがなく、既に勝利をとられているイエス・キリストにあって、勇気をもってその道のりを歩むことができるのです。そして、その根拠は、今日というイースターにあるのです。その勝利の凱旋にいたる道、すなわち私たちの生涯の勝利の秘訣はとてもシンプルに今も私たちの前にあるのです。「世に勝つ者は誰か。イエスを神の子と信じる者ではないか」（Ⅰヨハネ５章５節）
TROUBLE － (COURAGA＋FAITH) = VICTORY

There is a book called The Gospel of john In the Bible. This is the record that One of the Christ’s desiple, John wrote about what he had seen and what he had heard about Jesus Christ, and at the end of the book, he mentioned about the reason why he wrote this book. 31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
We can see the words, “Son of God” in this book, and the words remind us the WORDS and the DEEDS of Christ is not only about the things we see and experience in our world. Therefore John did not write the book for our “understanding” but for our “faith”.
Because of this reason, what I am going to talk today, which is the story of Easter is also not the story that you will “understand” but to “believe”. The incident was recorded in all four Gospel, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and among them, I will read from the gospel of Luke today.
1 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ”
“The resurrection” was disciple's ultimate motivation to spread the Gospel among the world, and Paul wrote how much the resurrection was important to them;14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
Paul try to say even if we have hope in Christ, if there was not Christ’ resurrection, we are most to be pitied . Why? The answer is not difficult. This is the answer. If we die, that is over. This is very simple.
But Paul said 20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.
Based on these, in this Easter morning, let us look at the John 16:33 which Jesus once said .In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Today, I will talk three things from this verse. First of all, we all have trouble.
You will have trouble.
You might not accept such assertive statement. We are not comfortable with this kind of words. But when we ponder these word, we can accept the truth. If we get something we want for long time, we find that makes us trouble to keep it. When we buy new car or house, we also have trouble to maintain that. Our cheerful vacation might turn to be trouble. Our marriage or having children is joyful event in our life but it brings us many challenge and trouble.
Namely, to live is equal to have troubles, and among our troubles, our ultimate one is our death. We cannot wipe that away. Albert Einstein once said “I feel the death is like my debt which I never pay back in my life. Yes, surely, it is our debt we cannot even touch it and just leave it until the end of my life.
How many times did we hear about earthquake, Tsunami and radiation past one year, and we also keep watching the situation of Iran and North Korea. Why do we watching carefully about these things? Because each one of these could destroy something we have, and that make us fear and worry. And the most fearful distraction is our life itself. We are not indifferent to these things because these directly connect to our death.
We are very interesting with our Social Security, welfare and insurance. We will decide our political leader according to their vision about these issues. The vision will really influence the President election, because it directly affect our secure daily life. It will affect our longevity.
We are paying attention our food. In Japan, we can identify where the products came from and give us the information about the farm, and more than that, some product sell with the parson’s name and picture on it. Why? Anything that will come into our body will affect our health and we are wishing to live as long as possible with healthy condition.
Therefore, when we think about our daily problems through and through, the problems will be our concern about our life, and that lead to our death. If more we say, our death is our last unsolved wall, and the problems are not just begin in these days, but it was our problem since ancient time.
Today, we know about the UNESCO World Heritage, and we see the tombs in that heritage. Nevertheless say, the tomb of Pilamid is one of them and even the Taj Mahal is also the tomb. We, human built the unbiliveble tomb, because they could not do anything before death. We human built these tombs because of their fear to uncertain death.
Then, what Christ is saying about this ultimate trouble? Let’s look at the second point Which is "Take heart".
Take heart!
We wonder why Jesus said "Take heart" after he said "You will have trouble". Why did he say "Take heart" in here. Jesus could say "Get Wisdom" or "Take Some Rest", or "Be Cheerful" to those who have trouble, but Jesus said "Take Heart!". The courage is the situation of our heart that even though we face fears and worry, we will stand up and step forward with faith. Jesus said keep courageous when you face the trouble.
But in reality, we do not have courage, especially if the problem is about death, we cannot neither step forward nor even we abhor to say about it.
But, by facing the problem, Jesus said take herat!, and he also said the reason of it, which is his next word “I have overcome the world”.
Overcome the world.
Jesus closed his statement with "I overcome the world". What is the meaning of “overcome the world” ? Is it like a victory between competing companies? Is it related to gain more profits than the others. Is it like to be a Karate Champion? These things are just comparison and just find which is better. These are always comparative. But what Jesus is saying here is the victory of our whole life and the ultimate victory is to overcome our death, because as I already mentioned, we, human never won the death in our history. No one never overcome the death by themselves.
But Jesus Christ resurrected from the death. This is the Easter. The Bible was written to believe that fact. Yes, Jesus already overcome the fearful death, because of that we will step forward with courage in Him.
We know the term "GOSPEL". We often said it "GOOD NEWS", and that is the news of “the Kingdom of God in Christ came to us”. The New Testament original words, Greek say the Gospel is Euangelion(εὐαγγέλιον,), and that means the absolute victory in the war. Greek, the birth place of Olyinpic beat the battle of Persia in BC 450 at the Marathon, and the solder, names Philippides ran and bring the Euangelion, to the Athens. This is the origin of Marathon. Therefore the Gospel is the victorious news.
I have never been a solder, so I do not know how to determine the victory at the war, but according to what I heard, if the capital city of the country was surrender, in many case, the war was over. This is like Japanese Warring State Period, once, the cheaf commander was killed, the war will be over.
If we think that way, Jesus Christ already overcome the ultimate wall which is death, therefore, we also recive victory within Christ and our life is also count as vicotory. Paul mentioned that in his letter.
If our capital city or cheaf commander was surrendered, that brings the victory for everyone, and all people will join the triumphal procession, we are also walking in that triumphal procession with Jesus like the Bible said;
14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.
Today, we are going to have the Baptism Ceremony of Kyutaro Matsuzawa. What a wonderful moment that he will join the Christ’s triumphal procession in such a young age. We know he will face many blessings as well as many difficulties in the future, but he will not exclude from the triumphal procession and will be able to walk courageously with Jesus Christ who already had victory. Ant the way to the victory is very simple and always in front of us. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

５）イエス様はすでに世に勝っているといわれました。イエス様がいう勝利について、その究極的な勝利とは何でしょうか。
６）私たちがやがて迎える死に対して、キリストにあって勝利をとっているということは、今を生きる私たちにどんな影響を与えますか。
７）Ⅰヨハネ５章５節には「世に勝つ者は誰か。イエスを神の子と信じる者ではないか」とあります。あなたはこの言葉を信じて、日々、勝利者として歩んでいますか。
